I stayed at this hotel October 17-20, 2011. The room and hotel were very nice and a good location. The only downside to the room was the quality of the bathtub. I have stayed at 3 Sheraton hotels this past year and they all have the same tiny bathtub. I have a back injury and rely on warm baths to alleviate the muscle tension and was not really able to do this. For such a nice room it would seem that they should have a nicer tub.
Also, I attempted to eat breakfast in the lobby restaurant. I waited 45 minutes for an order of granola, then walked out. The restaurant wasn't even busy.
I do have an issue with the chain in general. I was told when I checked in that I could submit my receipt to the SPG at any time and get points credit for the stay. I just tried to do this today (Nov 23) and was told that there is a 30-day limit. I now have two stays that would have netted me significant points that I cannot redeem. Had I known there was a 30-day limit I would have done it sooner. Very poor customer service in this respect and the first time I have come across this restriction in a loyalty program. Because of this alone I will try to find more accommodating hotel chains in the future.

We checked in on Friday 2/28/14 for 3 nights. The hotel was booked to capacity so I understand completely that it was delayed elevators and staff service. We stayed in the North tower an executive suite on the 17th floor. One of the 2 elevators was not working for almost an entire day, it literally took 25 minutes to take an elevator down. The concierge floor that I was told I could purchase upon arrival for morning breakfast, was not available for us. Contrary to an email I received before I arrived. Peets coffee shop ran out of breakfast foods. On Saturday 3/1/14 our room was not cleaned or given fresh towels, we were just forgotten! No one answered the phone any of the 5 times I called. The most upsetting thing was that I asked for a location of a bakery to purchase cupcakes for my daughters 15th birthday (3/1). The person I spoke to at the check in counter asked me how to spell my daughters name and said she would have something "special" sent to the room for her birthday. She called the room to verify something was coming up.... my daughter found out... nothing ever came. For the next 2 days my daughter looked each time we entered the room. I understand your staff is busy, but it really upset me to see the disappointment in my daughters eyes. It was just wrong. I am very displeased with your hotel and staff :( husband is a frequent traveler with work... this will effect his travel plans with Sheraton.

I recently attended a conference at the Dallas Sheraton in June and was extremely disappointed with the hotel conditions. The suite I was given had a musty & mildew smell; the light bulbs in the sitting area were not working; the bathroom sink was extremely clogged; a/c not working and found a roach in my bathtub. I also found roaches in the fitness center bathroom as well as meeting rooms on the 4th floor. I do want to commend Ally of the front desk as well as Ronald in the concierge lounge, they were both professional, courteous and made sure me as the guest was comfortable and felt welcomed. As a Gold lifetime/platinum SPG and Ambassador, I was truly surprised on the condition if the hotel. Elevators were extremely slow and it was always hard to phone guest relations and receive a response in a timely manner. I did complete a comment card and left same at the front desk and still have not had a response from management regarding my concerns. After using 7,000 pints for one of the six nights, I am discouraged and will prob never recommend the Dallas Sheraton. It's all about customer service and hotel cleanliness, which unfortunately the Dallas Sheraton lacked during my six night stay.
