I was looking for a place that provided transportation to and from a cruise ship and found this Sheraton listed as free to from ship and free parking while you're gone. After we arrived, the desk clerk said that they did not provide the services described on the internet. -- Hello? Probably won't be back.

The suites are a great size; they are also well equipped and very comfortable. Service is excellent; restaurant food is very good AND very reasonably priced.Free shuttle to Sawgrass Mills and rooftop pool are a great plus.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

It is unheard of today not to have wifi in the hotel rooms. Wifi is only available in the lobby and it's spotty at best.
The bathroom door needed replacement; the bottom panel was very obviously chipped. Walls needed painting.
Starwoods needs to keep abreast of quality control.

The first Impression of the Hotel didn't let us down. This was after a Cruise stay wish we could have stayed longer will have to book a trip to Florida to stay longer. The staff were excellent and they were great with us having to wait there for a room as we were early, from the Cruise. Thanks

Went there with my 2 kids ordered room service__ hamburgers served on burnt bread and the PB and J sandwich was so mushy, it fell apart when it was picked up. Room needed a new paint job- hotel needed to be refreshed-- dirty outside- needs pressure cleaning, I would not stay there again.

This hotel is a nice stay for those visiting the area. Rooms are large, clean, and offer a living room and bedroom with 2 tv's, nice workstation. Downside-roomservice in my experience has always been about 10 minutes late it its expected delivery time and needs a bit of work in quality.

Lack of high speed internet included in the room was disappoiting. Made it feel like youare grabbing at every dollar. Almost everyone now would automatcually use teh swervice. It woudl be better to increase oyur rates $5/night and include teh free internet with the free bottle of water.

We had a great stay at the Sheraton Plantation. Clean. Excellent, friendly staff. Starbucks coffee for coffee maker.
Flat screen tv's could be bigger. And, the living area tv only had analog stations. We should have reported that to the desk but we didn't.

I was able to book a room at the last minute and at a great price. The suite was updated, comfortable and clean. I was very pleased. The quality of the food was very good and priced reasonably as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very pleased with the suite-style layout of my room. However, I incurred issues with:
heat did not work, constantly blew cold air regardless of thermostat - facilities repaired it to my satisfaction
TV in bedroom constantly went out of focus while TV in living area was fine

I was participating in a seminar at NOVA Southeastern University. I had plenty of space, the in room facilities were great, the bed was comfortable, and it was convenient to NOVA. Plenty of restaurants in the area and close to 595/95 so easy to access.

I stay at this hotel annually on business. The hotel is immaculate. The staff is extremely friendly. I was disappointed this time with the restaurant. On Sunday, I had to be in a meeting at 7:30 am. The 7:00 breakfast buffet had not opened by 7:10, so breakfast was missed.

Pleasant and friendly staff. An upgrade in the room furniture would be nice, first impress rooms are dark. A good power wash on outer building and general cleanliness of outer perimeters would go a long way in changing the ambience of the hotel.

The layout of the room- private bedroom and the multi entrances into bathroom.
I did request early check in and when we arrived (12P) rooms were not avail. It was a little unorganized. Would have like preregistration. Was told to call at 2P to see if room was available.

hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable.
staff is friendly. Buffet was good.
Excellent value on Starwood points.
Hotel has lost some of its luster since the mall it is attached to closed down, but the hotel is great and I would stay here again.

We stay here regularly but choose alternatives in the area for longer stays simply because of no wireless internet access.
It's a shame as the hotel can be that much more attractive by adding this simple service(which is a given at most 2 star hotels these days).

After entering the hotel you don't have the feeling of an abandoned facitily it is just the hotel in a empty building complex.
The staff was great and made you feel welcome.
The tv in the living area was not working or we could not figure how to make it work.

The sitting /living room is the best feature, allowing for great space and a feeling of home comfort.

My check in went well everything was clearly explained. Every staff member was courteous and helpful. I bumped into one of the food and beverage managers he himself was very friendly and even offered his assistance if I had any concerns. Keep up the good work!

Helpful staff, quick check-in, very efficient morning breakfast buffet, beautiful suite of rooms. This hotel is very convenient for Ft Lauderdale/plantation locations. I will certainly stay there again. Bonus of Preferred Guest was surprising and appreciated.

My stay was excellent. The only issue is the availability of carts to assist in the transfer of personal items. After making 5 trips back and forth to my room to take my luggage, no one had brought a cart to my room. Other than that, everything was great.

Everything was as described - no unpleasant surprises. As we stayed on a weekend we were given free breakfast (platinum benefit) in the restaurant (no exclusions from the full menu). We would definiteloy stay here again. The bar was very reasonably priced.

I am a solid SPG member and always stay at an SPG facility if there is one available. Rooms were nice and clean, but service could be better. Front desk seemed understaffed and unavailable to answer calls too often. My family was there for almost a week.

Arrived at 3am with reservations for 4 rooms which could not be found for over 30 minutes. Staff did not seem to care . I am a SPG gold member and my expectations were that these prepaid rooms would have been waiting for me.

The hotel was in a great location for our needs. It was in a safe area with plenty of great shopping and dining choices around. Roof top pool was nice to get away for a while. The front desk staff were very accommodating and in tune with our needs.

I cannot believe this hotel is able to keep its "Sheraton" and "Starwood" status. If I listed the amount of issues I experienced here, I would need two pages, but I will list the main ones:
1- Upon check-in the front desk staff provided me the key to my room, which when I entered was messy and still occupied. It was very uncomfortable.
2- Construction started at around 7:30 AM each morning so I had to deal with loud drilling each morning of my stay. I overheard a couple of other guests complaining about the same issue.
3- Food at the restaurant is poor. Service needs a lot of improvement.
4- The room cleaning staff is very loud. Every morning I was either woken up early by the drilling of the construction or the housekeeping crew screaming to one another from the hallways, or slamming doors outside the rooms. Obviously they are not trained well. I had to tell them to keep it down on three occasions.
6- The hotel front desk staff told me I got Starwood Preferred Member points for the bad experiences, but seemed like they did not care much.

The hotel was sold out this weekend and the bar, restrestaurant and room service only had one staff member each evening.
In addition the front desk staff was rude to members of our party. management needs improvement.

One issue, the lady at check in requested me to provide a letter verifying why i got a discounted rate. A gentleman then came and staed i didnt need one for a kerzner rate even thought i make the reservation myself and presentted my employee I.D.
