I have just returned from my stay at Sheration Suites Plantaion Fort Lauderdale with my sister and our kids, I must say the hotel is absolutely gorgeous, I was quite impressed with the room, I have heard horror stories of seeing a pic on line and on arrival its totally different but not in this case, the room is as advertised, and was always clean and tidy on our return each day, it was indeed a welcome site. The staff were very accomodating, knowlegeble and always ready to please. On passing reception it was hello on sitting in the lobby it was can I help, the service level was impeccable. I have to say thank you to Robert in the Restaurant, the breakfast was fabulous. Karen who was an absolute Gem on checkin, Miguel, Jose, Raul,Tony who were always willing to give advise and assistance where possible and were always so patience. The lovely gentleman who came to take our luggage on check out this morning, sorry I did not get your name but your smile said it all, thank you. And last but not least Jeremy who drove our shuttle bus most of the time and I must say he is an asset to the Sheraton, humble, kind, so accomodating and helpful. The kids loved him and were not at all happy when he was not around to drive us. Thank you all from room 223 from all the way in Barbados! Hope to see you all in Aug 2017.....

Location: 15-minute drive to/from FLL. There is a shopping mall nearby and you may walk there. Many local parks nearby for a walk and run and picnic.
Hotel: As the name suggests, all rooms are suites, with a decent living room, working desk, and a comfy King size bed, two sinks, separate toilet room. The room looks new and spacious. The highlight of my room is the jacuzzi. It is pretty big and could fit two adults at once. The water pressure is very strong that makes a satisfying bath. The shortcoming is the soap holder is placed at the inner corner and impossible to reach from outside. I had to climb back into the wet tub to pick up my bath amenities. The room was very quiet and I had great sleep for both nights.
Lounge: Very small, and as a result, it was packed during breakfast and evening hours. Food was ok. The first morning I was sent down to the lobby to enjoy the full breakfast buffet, due to lack of space and food, thanks to a nice lounge manager. The second morning, the same manager came up to me, apologized on yesterday's inconvenience and asked how was the experience downstairs. I was impressed by his service.
Fitness: located on the top floor 9th floor. The fitness room is very small, but through there you can see a rooftop pool and a small jacuzzi. I did not try it because it looked like the pool water temperature might be high due to the Florida summer heat.

I stayed here for a couple days on business. The front staff greeted me when I came in. Check-in was quick. The room was huge and also had a great view of the outside. The pool gym and the sauna was clean. The pool area had a beautiful view of the city. I would come back and visit again.

Although it was a quick stay the staff was friendly and courteous. The room was roomy as expected, definitely recommend the whirlpool suites for a little extra unwinding after a long day. Everything about my stay was great. They have a return customer in me!

Another great stay in Plantation!!! Greeted upon entering & Fast check-in. Used the roof top pool in the later hours of the evening, convenient and nice weather made that very enjoyable. Also used the sauna for a quick steam. Breakfast early morning in the club lounge. Off to Work!!!!!

I called in the afternoon to keep our 2 rooms. We had 11 pm arrival and would not arrive at hotel until 12:00. I was to have 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each. I was told the "house" gave away the rooms. I ended with 1 king room and 1 room with 2 double beds. In the morning I asked for an early ride to cruiseport..He arrived about 10:45 and was busy talking to employees. We boarded the bus at 11:15 waited until he got a cup of ice water and we left at 11:45. We arrived at cruiseport at 12:15. I was told I only had 4 free buffet tickets so she gave me 2 more.However the company I booked thru said I had 6 buffet tickets. I also paid a $35 taxi cab ride as they don't pick up at airport. So this was the beginning of vacation and very disappointed. I didn't feel they cared at all
