Rated 5 out of 5 by Jacey51 The staff went above and beyond
I cannot say enough things about the staff at the Baltimore Sheraton North. During the July power outage, my husband and I stayed there for several days, together with many stranded folk and BGE service crews. While they may have been overwhelmed, they never showed it. They were always courteous. The service never flagged. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was always more than sufficient.
On our second day, I was rear-ended entering their parking structure. I was 5 months pregnant at the time. The staff really looked out for me. The manager made copies of our documents and wrote a letter to our insurance based on the conversation that he witnessed between me and the guy who rear-ended me. When they saw me later, after I'd come back from the hospital, they all inquired if I was ok. They really were superb in every way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Frankie2051 Outstanding Value for the cost!
This hotel had an outstanding complimentary breakfast and happy hour for spg members as well as an outstanding restaurant and pool, and exercise facilities. The staff was very helpful. Its location by the Towson Mall and I-695 made access to shopping and other locations in the Baltimore area easy to get to. We would definitely stay here again because it supplied outstanding value.

The location of this hotel was superb. We felt safe in the area and loved the free parking in the garage. Hotel is also attached to a wonderful mall with great eateries. Awesome fitness center. Only problem we had was breakfast was supposed to start at six and they were not close to being ready to open at 6:15. We had pre-payed but front desk staff politely refunded our money due to our schedule causing a conflict with the late opening.

Myself and 8 other people stayed at this hotel for an expo that was in town. The rooms and staff were great. Once getting to the pool, however, was not so great. There were pieces of tissue floating around in the pool along with what we thought at the time was weeds. Come to find out it was pieces of a hair weave. The jacuzzi was gone leaving us really no way to relax after a very long day. We won't be staying here again next year.

Wow! I was checked in, in less than 5 minutes! My room key fell inbetween the elevator and floor and had my parking ticket with it, was replaced with no hassles. My arm to my glasses came off, was given tape by young man at reception and was too happy to be able to help me. And the young lady in the Club Lounge held door for me, when I was leaving with coffee and fruit to bring to my room. Needless to say, I was very pleased!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Marsh12 Very cold Pool
We were traveling with kids so the pool was a must for us. We were told during the reservation process that the pool was heated. On our 9 day trip this pool was the coldest, we were unable to swim at this hotel. Also on our travels this was the only facility that had a life guard at the pool. Because of the temperature he had nothing to do.
Check in staff was exceptional as was the bar staff. Clean room nicely put together.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Slg55 This hotel didn't follow a thing I asked for.
I was put in a two double bed room when my reservations confirmed a king room. I had to "rent" a refrigerator. I asked to be put next to my friends. They were on the 9th floor. I was on the 3rd. The maid purposefully set the alarm clock to midnight in the room next to us to wake us for two nights. I was given points to cover a free night stay? I don't plan on travelling any time soon. I will never return to this hotel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RussH Much improved
Over the years my wife and I have stayed at this hotel numerous times when we visit family in Baltimore. Our last stay was about 18 months ago and the service and condition of the hotel were below average. We had a horrible experience in the restaurant during that visit. This time everything was much improved and we truly enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was very much improved and the service could not have been better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by twelveinarow Almost completely satified
My only issue is with the system of overbooking bed types. When i reserve a king bed months in advance i expect a king bed when i arrive, not an excuse of first come first get. So it seems if you book a flight that arrives in the late afternoon or early evening you may be out of luck for the bed type you reserved. I could go on and on about this constant problem, but i know most of you may have experienced this before.

Rated 2 out of 5 by LINEDANCER57 Happy UC Awards wont be there in 2014
Check-in went well. Elevators broken 10 minute wait. Restaurant was a joke. Table dirty, served soda in a dirty sticky previous used glass, my sisters's glass was craked all the way around (why they didnt notice these things is beyond reason), had to bring her another drink too. Had to ask for utensils, straws. Our other group at another table walked out after asking for the check 3x and waiting 15 minutes. When our bill came, we weren't charged for sodas, but then they didn't have change so we were given too much money back (oh well!). But, the main kick in the $%^^ was that nearly everyone (400 +) could not get in the rooms at 11:30 am after eating the horrible brunch becuase the HOTEL had reset the locks. You talking bout mad!!!! WHY!!! It was not NOON. I had never heard of this happening and I have traveled all over the world. I WILL NEVER, NEVER, EVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by feebe Sheraton Baltimore review
My stay at the Sheraton North Baltimore Hotel was really nice. The hotel hosted 3 events that weekend and they did a great job. The food was good and staff was excellent. The only complaint that I have about the weekend is that only 2 of the 3 elevators was working. This is a big hotel with a lot of rooms, so they really need more than 3 elevators. At times we spent 10-15 min. waiting on an elevator.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PattyP13 Appreciated the Goucher Discount
If you are visiting Goucher College, this is the place to stay. The Sheraton is so close to the campus, it's practically on the campus. The Sheraton offers a discounted rate for those guests visiting the college and this was very much appreciated. The staff was pleasant, the rooms were comfortable, and the fitness center was top-knotch. There is a charge for parking, but it's worth the convenience.

Rated 1 out of 5 by PR44 Terrible for a major hotel
1. Plumbing is simply awful. taking a shower, as another room uses water, your water temperature changes sharply
2. elevator service awful. most of weekend either 1 or 2 of 3 elevators out of service...kept waiting for elevator up to 10 minutes. and i believe 3 elevators (if all working) are inadequate for hotel this size
3. mattress way too soft
4. cable TV channel selection poor at best

Rated 4 out of 5 by YUDIEBIRD BEAUTIFUL ACCOMODATIONS, COMFORTABLE, WELL-RUN FACILITY
WE WERE ACTIVELY IMPRESSED BY THE COMFORT LEVEL OF THE ACCOMODATIONS AND THE WILLINGNESS OF YOUR STAFF TO HELP US. WE WOULD, HOWEVER, LIKE TO SUGGEST THESE TWO IMPROVEMENTS: 1) PLEASE DO NOT CHARGE YOUR GUESTS FOR DAILY PARKING; 2) PROVIDE A SMALL REFRIGERATOR IN THE ROOM FOR GUESTS TO STORE FOOD THEY ARE BRINGING AND WILL BE TAKING WITH THEM TO THEIR NEXT DESTINATION. THANK YOU.

My stay at The Sheraton was excellent. The Customer Service and food was great. Upon check-in the staff treated me with respect and was very helpful. I was there overnight on business and dined at the restaurant which had great waitstaff and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to my colleagues, Family, and friends if they're ever staying in the area. Thanks again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Fromdaupeh A party place
Appears to be a great venue for wedding receptions as it appeared all emphasis is placed there. Heat would not work and temperature in room was down to 65 by morning, with no blankets on bed. The halls were filled with noisy partying people. No offer to valet vehicle and the front desk was unable to validate ticket, leaving it up to me to explain it to attendants in the morning.

Rated 2 out of 5 by richard hotel needs to be upgraded.
The room was extremely tired. The furniture was worn out, the couch, recliner , as well as the desk, had signs of age, scratches, etc. This room has seen better years. If I would have known the condition of this room before arrival, I would have canceled my reservation.
Unfortunately, I was late for a dinner meeting, and was to tired afterwards to look for a different hotel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by oldcurmudgeon an irksome deficiency
In a little over twenty-five years, this is the first time we have stayed in a mid-range to up-scale hotel in which there was not a small refrigerator in the guest room. Apparently the absence of a refrigerator is the decision by the corporate home office. The absence of a room refrigerator will influence to some degree my selection of a hotel in this suburb of Baltimore.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LKTeach Just OK... Rooms need renovation.
The staff was friendly, but when we checked in at the desk, they said to keep our parking ticket so they could validate it. You would think this means no charge... No. It was over $8. The rooms were ok. Stains on the rug, shower that has not been thoroughly scrubbed in ages (just wiped down every day) and sheets that don't fit the mattresses are not my cup of tea.

Rated 4 out of 5 by louj Good not great
The room was pleasant but should have had more accessible mirrors & more important, a shaving mirror in the bathroom, or one that those of us who are nearsighted can get at without having to climb over the sink.
Your gigantic pillows may be great for sitting up TV watching, but are far too big for comfortable sleep--I had to toss mine to avoid severe neck strain.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ndubbs123 Brown water???
Currently I would not recommend this specific Sheraton location however, I've stayed at others and was completely satisfied. Seems I stayed during the midst of their new plumbing system being installed so faucet and shower water were brown and they would not give me the option of changing rooms. The just kept telling me to let the water run and it will pass. Really??!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by AMK71 cold and noisy
Out of the 4 hotel staff that I came in face to face /verbal contact with, 3 of then were excellent.
The room never got above 70 even though I programmed the thermostat for its maximum of 90.
There was neither a microwave nor a refrigerator.
The noise level due to improper insulation was unacceptable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ADresen Good...not GREAT
There are a few fundamentals that could change the rating for me.
1.) Wireless connectivity & speed are horrible. I eventually gave up and used my cell, which costs me money.....which frustrates me.
2.) Doors do not block out sound in hallway. I can hear absolutely EVERYTHING that happens in the hall at all hours of the night. Need to make them mmore sound prrof

Rated 3 out of 5 by drchm This hotel was not ready for us
It was an average stay. The restaurant was full of fruit flies interfering with our dinning; hardly no people in the restaurant we had to wait a long time for sandwiches. A pipe in my bathroom broke sending water over the floor. The air condition in the meeting did not work for a day and a half. This was not the best hotel experience.

We stayed at the Sheraton while visiting a local university. The hotel was very clean, staff extremely friendly and was a pleasure staying there. Upon check-in we were invited back to the lobby where they offered adult beverages, and a nice assortment of horderves. We will be returning on our next visit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Ohioproud overrated
Coming to Maryland from out of state, I chose the Sheraton because of its reputation. I was disappointed in what I received for the price I paid. No breakfast, a charge for parking, and even a charge for bottled water! Next time I will try another hotel who offers more for a lower price and take my chances.

Hotel met my expectations as far as comfort and cleanliness. Management of the hotel was excellence. Breakfast buffet not worth the price. The chef or cook never came out and checked on the food. Eggs were swimming in butter. It looked disgusting. . The breakfast staff was inconsistent with quality of service. I did not complain to the manager.
