Rated 4 out of 5 by No surprises, all as it should be. The staff, room was comfortable and although I did not eat at the restaurant I did try to get a coffee at an off-peak time and the staff was more than helpful. Was surprised as it is a low ticket item yet I received high ticket service. Every staff person I dealt with at the facility was pleasant and helpful. Only issue was water from 3rd floor pool somehow found its way through the lobby ceiling. May 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hot Breakfast Huge improvement from last year. Hot breakfast now. More affordable prices. Michell May 25, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Unpleasant Experience Terrible experience changing reservation. Discrepancy in charges. See below why I will not return and why I will not recommend to anyone May 24, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Poor housekeping The alarm in the empty room next to mine went of at 4am and stayed on until I left at 8. My alarm went off at 6 (not set by me). hOUSEKEPING SHOULD AT LEAST MAKE SURE all of the alrrm clock are off in rooms to be let. Most unsatisfactory!! May 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable for traveler, nice staff but... Room needs update on electronic connection. Room was very noisy from connecting room next door, water pressure was terrible. I asked for a 6 am wake up call and received NO call and was late to meeting. May 16, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Physical Issues with Hotel We checked in and found the room to be 59 degrees. There was no heat, nor no way to get heat into the room. When calling the front desk, they said we can turn off the fan and air conditioning. That was not the problem. It was cold outside!. Secondly, we were in an end room ( very nice décor and large) but NO INTERNET. Apparently the signal does not reach 729. Lastly, while laying in bed, we could hear the conversation of another room through the air vent that was next to the bed. All in all it was a disappointing experience. Positive: the front desk staff was polite and helpful. Especially with recommending food options at mall next door. May 15, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Almost Average Difficult to find hotel entrance- took 3 attempts using Google maps ( poorly marked) and leaving parking structure requires knowing "secret" exit to look for. Rooms very clean, beds fine. Hotel is dark and gloomy inside. May 13, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Staff From the Front Desk to the Rain restaurant to the facilities engineer, this hotel has the best staff I have ever experienced. When in the Baltimore area next, we will return to the Sheraton North Baltimore. May 13, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel Has Made Improvements Hotel has started to make improvements to the interior of the hotel (i.e. carpets, wall treatments, painting, etc.) The furniture needs to be updated as well but the improvements to date are well done and much needed. This is a great hotel for location to child's college and shopping. May 12, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Mrs The gentleman who showed us to our rooms was delightful and could not do enough for us. The hotel is beautiful inside. Unfortunately, the sink in our bathroom was cracked in two places, the socket in the bathroom had a broken piece stuck in it and finally out of three elevators only one was usable (due to my back injury I was unable to use the stairs and I waited 15 minutes for the elevator). Rated 4 out of 5 by May 2014 Good value, comfortable rooms though a bit tired looking. Hallways and room doors need updating and the bathroom, while adequate, is small by current standards. May 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Clean, comfort, and good location! First time to Baltimore, but will be coming back for biz. The hotel's location is great with mall and lots of dining options within walking distance. We drove around city, but liked this location best. Rooms very clean, modern and comfortable. We slept great, and will book here for our next visit. May 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice hotel conveniently located I was picking my son up from college and this was the only hotel with availability. I was pleasantly surprised by how convenient it was to Loyola. The room was clean and the bed great. The fitness center had everything to get a quick workout in when I arrived. The only negative was that I ordered breakfast and it did not come as advertised. I was on a tight schedual and room service said they would fix it but after 15+ minutes and having finished the main part of the food that was correct it still had not arrived. The front desk staff was plesant and validated my parking ticket with a smile! Overall an A experience. May 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good location Bar staff was superb - food was adequate- we had a breakfast for the USA Grad School andthat was not good at all. Staff seamed annoyed serving the large group the food. Our refreshment service was adequate- suggest offering sugar in the raw. Staff was friendly most of the times- cleaning staff was very nice. iliked that one bottle of water was complimentary and the resonable charge of $1 for the additional water was nice to see. Location was great. Shuttle service driver- tall thin guy was excelent- i think his name was jason- very very good employee safety oriented- helped people on and off shuttle in the rain etc... Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible experience unapologetic staff The staff at this hotel is underwhelming. I had an incident where the guest in the room next to mine screamed from 11PM to 3:30 AM. I complained to the night manager. She was unapologetic and responded that security had been called...nothing else. I was up all night, didn't sleep, and all the did to try and make it better was throw some points at me. This was a terrible experience and I will not stay at this hotel nor recommend it to anyone May 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by overall good great access to Goucher college and the local restaurant groups. May 5, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by THis hotel has great staff The staff here is always friendly and attentive. The beds are very comfortable. The only improvement would be in the bathrooms and internet availability (very slow) May 2, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Short staff and reservation mistakes Although clean and staff who tried, service left much to be desired. Dining room seemed overwhelmed and was very slow and check in desk repeated mistake several times. May 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not impressed with parking I can understand the parking situation and charge but to get the ticket validated was a hassle. At one point there was such a line at the front desk we were almost late for the function we came for. Seems there should be a better way. Maybe an electronic pass that you use for the time you are there. April 30, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by just close to Goucher I was forced to stay at this hotel since I was coming to Towson for a Goucher reunion and it was very close to the college. I tried to contact the hotel to ask questions and kept getting bounced around in some automated system--no people and no answers about this specific hotel--very discouraging. April 30, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by All services, very conveniently located. Staff very attentive and helpful as always. April 30, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Another great stay! This hotel has the best staff. The entire staff is warm, friendly and accommodating! The hotel is clean and the beds are very comfortable for a great night sleep. April 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by (not for publication) As you can see we were very pleased with our stay, but I wanted to give you some feedback related to other issues. This hotel is located on what used to be part of my college campus and I was there for a 50th reunion. The hotel was the preferred address for everyone, but I would not stay at this Sheraton unless I were going to a college event. However, tho' I had no problems, some of my classmates had a difficult confusing time reserving their rooms - central reservations and the hotel itself did not have info about our reunion! Our class president was given the Presidential Suite for a gathering place for our class, but the communication was very poor and we found the room with cots in it, and then there were no arrangements for snacks and beverages as was expected. We later found that she or someone should have made these arrangements but this had not been clear, so we had no "special" gathering spot as planned. Granted this hotel does a big business in weddings and conferences so was very busy, but our very large group of hotel guests might have been "handled" with more acknowledgement and use of hotel resources - especially as at least one of the large classes arranged for a dinner at your facility, and almost all of us from Goucher College stayed at your hotel. Also, the housekeeping staff were very nice, but you need more: our room on Saturday, one of 4 nights we stayed, was never made up. To end on a positive note, though, many of our attendees really appreciated the shuttle service you provided to and from the college - it is an essential for this setting and clientele! Rated 5 out of 5 by Made you feel welcome and cared for The hotel staff was helpful with the little things that make a big difference during a short stay. Even guiding us to the right lanes to follow as we made our departure. April 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding Staff and Service for Our Group I was with a group at a college reunion, and the service we received was excellent. The fitness facilities, especially the swimming pool is large and open to sunlight. I was able to do serious lap swimming although the water was a little cool. The white beds and sheets were very comfortable. Storage space is very generous and practical. Lighter colors for the decor should be considered for any possible update. The location is very convenient. College golf carts were available for free transportation just across from the hotel. April 28, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel Staff does not pay attention to important details Not what I have come to expect from a Sheraton Property. Place was clean and modern but no attention to detail. Went to club room 45 min after it opened after arriving. No coffee, not ready etc. Regular person had day off-no one assigned. My wife wanted coffee-they did not know which was decaf. In the morning there were no bowls for cereal, no oatmeal, and no hot water for what limited hot cereal they had. They let people who had not prebooked shuttle to use it. Informed us we could get a cab at our expense. Desk clerk insisted it was not their problem even though we had a reservation for the shuttle. Person that followed us had their shuttle appointment cancelled. Well below standards normally expect at Starwood hotels!!!!!! April 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Staff I was there on business, & the staff could not have been more pleasant or more helpful! April 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Superb Staff Since day one of staying at this hotel for business over the last few months, our team continues to be blown away by the friendly, effecient and professional manner in which your staff interacts with us. Brian, Adam & Eddie always remember our names & go out of their way to ensure our comfort. The hotel gives us a lot of "bang for the buck". Extreemly clean & elegant with many interesting & unique benefits that keep us coming back. The Tuesday night wine tasting with appetizers is such a nice touch. We have already referred this hotel to other business partners who now feel the same warmth towards the staff as we do. Excellent accomadations- but it's the PEOPLE that keep us coming back! They make us feel like we have a "home away from home". April 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Suitable Beds and bedding was comfortable but the beds are not queen size; they are double. Fortunately, I wasn't sharing my bed. The room is spacious and the bathroom was also a comfortable size. Everything was in good condition. A mini fridge would be helpful. Also, the air conditioning never really worked properly. The temperature never reached our setting of 71 despite being on for two days. The staff was very pleasant. There is a fee for parking, $9 per night. If you like to shop there is a skywalk to a tremendous mall with several restaurants. Lastly, the hotel is right off 695, which is very convenient. I would stay again. April 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Jason Jason was the most helpful staff member you have. No problem was too small or too big for him. He is the best and expects nothing for his services. Thank you for having such a wonderful employee to help me!!! April 22, 2014
