Rated 2 out of 5 by Very Disappointing The location of this hotel is ideal, the staff was friendly BUT the hotel itself was very disappointing the toilet wasn't clean, the toilet paper on the roll was more than half gone the ice bucket had a chemical smell, out of the 3 elevator only one worked, when I checked in 2 was working and the second one broke while I was in it horrible experience. If I had to rate the staff I would give a 5 star and location 5 star but the but the hotel by itself 1 1/2 stars. January 13, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Worth Being a Gold Member Here -Food waste on floor in elevators for several days -12th Floor Club refrigerator was almost completely empty for the entire 3 days that I was there (never checked or stocked). -Breakfast buffet was terrible. Staff seldom if ever waited on tables. Much of the food was not ready until 30 minutes after opening. -Front desk staff very unprofessional in appearance compared to other Starwood. -Overall way below par for Starwood. -100% management/leadership problems. Rated 3 out of 5 by Disorganized When I checked in last week, I went to my room, but a man was in the room. Interestingly, my boss had the exact same experience 2 weeks prior there - something is wrong with your scheduling. In the room I ultimately stayed in had water spots on the shower walls, and the stainless bars under the sink clearly had not been cleaned in a while. The best positive the hotel has is its convenience to businessess, restaurants and shopping. June 30, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by expected something more The hotel is really nice on the outside but the elevators are old and rickety and slow. The icemachine was really loud, soda machine didn't work. Around 230am the vent in the bathroom started making a clicking loud noise, I called the front desk and was told that maintenance wouldnt be in until the morning and a note will be left for them to come to my room, the noise stopped abt 545 and maintenance NEVER showed up. The continental breakfast was horrible. August 8, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by A great Hotel After a long journey..It was great to be received by a friendly staff at rception even though it was late...and the bar staff was excellant and food was exceptional even thogh it was a few minutes to closing of kitchen...we were well received.. Room was nice..good size and very clean ... One of the best hotels I have been in recently... Unfortunately I dont come this way often..but if I do I would certainly stay here and recommend it to anyone else.. Ian August 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Visit to Townson We stayed at the Towson Sheraton because it was literally right next door to my niece's college, Goucher. It was a convenient location that turned out to be a pleasure to stay at for my family. The proximity to a variety of shopping, grocery and restaurants was a lovely surprise. It made it very easy for us to have a lot to do and eat with a variety of age groups in our family. The pool and workout room were an awesome and convenient feature. May 27, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Overpriced The best thing about this hotel is the location, right across the street from Towson Mall. This is pretty much the only reason to pay ridiculously high rate IN ADDITION to parking fees. There was free Wi-Fi; other than that, there isn't much special about this place, which should definiltely not be considered a "luxury" hotel. The standard rooms are pretty basic; for the same kind of money, you could stay at a place a little further away and have free parking, complimentary breakfast, complimentary toiletries (in addition to the boring shampoo and lotions provided here), and even bathrobes. The room itself was fairly cramped, and the hallways were dingy and clearly needed to be updated. If I am paying over $150/night for a hotel room, I expect much nicer accomodations. The next time I am in the area, I will probably stay elsewhere. August 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by The staff went above and beyond I cannot say enough things about the staff at the Baltimore Sheraton North. During the July power outage, my husband and I stayed there for several days, together with many stranded folk and BGE service crews. While they may have been overwhelmed, they never showed it. They were always courteous. The service never flagged. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was always more than sufficient. On our second day, I was rear-ended entering their parking structure. I was 5 months pregnant at the time. The staff really looked out for me. The manager made copies of our documents and wrote a letter to our insurance based on the conversation that he witnessed between me and the guy who rear-ended me. When they saw me later, after I'd come back from the hospital, they all inquired if I was ok. They really were superb in every way. October 29, 2012

Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible experience unapologetic staff The staff at this hotel is underwhelming. I had an incident where the guest in the room next to mine screamed from 11PM to 3:30 AM. I complained to the night manager. She was unapologetic and responded that security had been called...nothing else. I was up all night, didn't sleep, and all the did to try and make it better was throw some points at me. This was a terrible experience and I will not stay at this hotel nor recommend it to anyone May 6, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Almost great I am very upset with my breakfast experience. For some reason I assumed that as a guest breakfast was included. I never saw anything letting me know otherwise. I was shocked when I was billed almost $30 for scrambled eggs!! How horrible! I don't think I will stay there again. I need clear communication and not unpleasant surprises. August 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good experience Other than the distance from BWI and the noisy teenage lacrosse team members running up and down the hall one evening, it was a great stay. The hotel facilities were nice, clean and the staff was responsive. I particularly want to thank my server in Rain 903 late evening on 7/15/14. I believe her name was Zada. She was overwhelmed by customers, but she did a wonderful job and was very friendly. July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by No heat great service We stayed for three nights at Thanksgiving. There was no heat in our room. They needed to change rooms. No heat in the second room. Instead of getting angry we all laughed and the hotel bent over backwards to get it right. They upgraded us to a large room gifted us back 7000 point and all our cash for the stay. It was a terrific holiday and we will be back. Thank you Sheraton!!!! Oh, and enjoy the club room food and drink -- brilliant!!! December 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE The location of this hotel was superb. We felt safe in the area and loved the free parking in the garage. Hotel is also attached to a wonderful mall with great eateries. Awesome fitness center. Only problem we had was breakfast was supposed to start at six and they were not close to being ready to open at 6:15. We had pre-payed but front desk staff politely refunded our money due to our schedule causing a conflict with the late opening. July 31, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a great hotel The service at this hotel was excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The front desk people were quite helpful with information about the surrounding area's amenities as well as those for the hotel. If you need a place to stay in Maryland, I would recommend this Sheraton Baltimore North. It is just outside the city, but convenient to downtown Baltimore, but less expensive than the 5 star hotels at the Inner Harbor. August 30, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by It was Ok Myself and 8 other people stayed at this hotel for an expo that was in town. The rooms and staff were great. Once getting to the pool, however, was not so great. There were pieces of tissue floating around in the pool along with what we thought at the time was weeds. Come to find out it was pieces of a hair weave. The jacuzzi was gone leaving us really no way to relax after a very long day. We won't be staying here again next year. January 22, 2013

Wait staff were attentive and well informed. The front desk staff went out of their way to welcome me to the hotel. Room was quiet, and the bed super comfortable. I'll be back! August 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dance Competition Weekend Wow! I was checked in, in less than 5 minutes! My room key fell inbetween the elevator and floor and had my parking ticket with it, was replaced with no hassles. My arm to my glasses came off, was given tape by young man at reception and was too happy to be able to help me. And the young lady in the Club Lounge held door for me, when I was leaving with coffee and fruit to bring to my room. Needless to say, I was very pleased! February 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Club Level not worth it Given the several challenges in modifying our original reservation, we were given a room on the Club floor. I would not pay extra for this type of room. The on-floor lounge was small, with poor food (especially breakfast, which the front desk told us would be "identical" to the downstairs Rain restaurant experience. I would get the breakfast plan and dine at Rain - great buffet. July 14, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very cold Pool We were traveling with kids so the pool was a must for us. We were told during the reservation process that the pool was heated. On our 9 day trip this pool was the coldest, we were unable to swim at this hotel. Also on our travels this was the only facility that had a life guard at the pool. Because of the temperature he had nothing to do. Check in staff was exceptional as was the bar staff. Clean room nicely put together. August 5, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great hotel, great front desk staff - terrible restaurant Hi - this was our third time staying at the Sheraton. You cannot beat the hotel for vicinity, front desk staff (very friendly) and accomodations. But, the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. This is our second time having a terrible breakfast there. We ordered 3 omelets. They literally took 20 minutes and one of them, which was supposed to be spinach and cheddar, instead had ham, onions, and tomatoes. I returned it, it took 15 minutes to get another one, and it now had onions, peppers, tomatoes, and spinach. Might I add that it was not busy at all in the restaurant. This new omelet had no cheddar and a bunch of veggies I didn't want. My husband and daughter did get the omelets they ordered, but the potatoes were ice cold on all three of ours. We will definitely stay again but WILL NEVER EAT there again until they do something different to remedy their issues. August 26, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Much improved Over the years my wife and I have stayed at this hotel numerous times when we visit family in Baltimore. Our last stay was about 18 months ago and the service and condition of the hotel were below average. We had a horrible experience in the restaurant during that visit. This time everything was much improved and we truly enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was very much improved and the service could not have been better. December 22, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Almost completely satified My only issue is with the system of overbooking bed types. When i reserve a king bed months in advance i expect a king bed when i arrive, not an excuse of first come first get. So it seems if you book a flight that arrives in the late afternoon or early evening you may be out of luck for the bed type you reserved. I could go on and on about this constant problem, but i know most of you may have experienced this before. October 28, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel didn't follow a thing I asked for. I was put in a two double bed room when my reservations confirmed a king room. I had to "rent" a refrigerator. I asked to be put next to my friends. They were on the 9th floor. I was on the 3rd. The maid purposefully set the alarm clock to midnight in the room next to us to wake us for two nights. I was given points to cover a free night stay? I don't plan on travelling any time soon. I will never return to this hotel. April 23, 2013

The staff, room was comfortable and although I did not eat at the restaurant I did try to get a coffee at an off-peak time and the staff was more than helpful. Was surprised as it is a low ticket item yet I received high ticket service. Every staff person I dealt with at the facility was pleasant and helpful. Only issue was water from 3rd floor pool somehow found its way through the lobby ceiling. May 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel treated us as family. We have been staying at this hotel for several years now at this time of the summer in conjunction with Maryland Special Olympics Summer Games. The last two years we celebrated our Anniversary here. This hotel is such a warm place to come back to each night and each year. The rooms are so comfortable. The facilities are great. The staff is friendly and competent. We will be back next year. June 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is very comfortable We had a restful stay. Only problem was the party in the hallway on SAT nite due to wedding occurring in the hotel. Once security was called, all went quiet so sleep could occur. Wish we had had rooms on a floor without wedding attendees. Thanks for the bottles of water. Greatly needed after a 7 hour drive.
