I didn't like that the jacuzzi was removed from the pool area. I was looking forward to it and was very disappointed.

Great location. I appreciated the Starwood Preferred upgrade. Parking fees were an unwelcomed surprise.

Parking at Sheraton Baltimore North was free in the past, but now is $9 per day. This is too expensive.

The pool is in new of an upgrade and the hot tub is no longer there. This is disapointing.

We arrived at this hotel around 5pm in the spring on one of those days where it is cold in tha morning and night but warmer during the day.
Having been un-occupied, our room was about 58 degrees when we arrived so I proceeded to turn on the digitally controlled central heat. After 15 minutes I realized no heat was coming from the system.
I called the desk and was informed that the 'central boiler system for the entire hotel' can provide either heat or ac but not both at the same time. The system automatically switches ove to heat when the outside temperature gets down to some pre-determined level and it wasn't cold enough yet.
The result was that we had a cold room and no ability to turn on the heat for several hours.
This is ridiculous. The system is obviously antiquated and during the spring and fall this type of thing is likely to occur.
I spoke to the manager about it and he politely shrugged his shoulders and said it was all automatically controlled and there was nothing he could do.
I politely informed him that I would not be staying at his hotel the two times each year I would be passing through town.
They did have a nice wine and snack managers party on Tuesday in the lobby. No problem keeping the wine chilled, I just left it in my room...

I had booked a room at your Baltimore North hotel for July 27-29. About a week prior to that we decided to come down a day early. I called your hotel to book a room for th 26th as well. I was told that your hotel was booked. I then went on Hotwire and booked a hotel room for that night instead. Once I confirmed the reservation I was told by Hotwire that it was your hotel that I was being booked at. This was of course after I was told by your staff that the hotel was book. The first room we were given for the 26th was a nightmare. There were people hanging out in the hallway until 10:30 at night. When that noise finally died down the room next to us exploded with children screaming and running around the room until 1:00 in the morning. I have never stayed in a hotel that was that loud. It sounded like these people were in the same room as we were. I had my two small children with me and none us go to sleep until after 1:00 a.m. When I checked out of that room in the morning and into our original reservation I told the front desk how disatisfied I was with our room and the experience thus far with your hotel. All I received was a "Sorry". Our next room was nice and much more quiet. However, when we booked that reservation we booked it to include breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was a joke. Unless you got there at 6:00 a.m. there was no food left. We ended up eating in the restaurant the next day and waited 45 minutes for an omlette. I will say we did enjoy the pool, however that is about where our happiness with this stay ends.

My daughter and I decided to have a weekend together for some girl time and shopping. I was pleasantly surprised the nightly rates were less than what the website quoted when I checked in. The room was beautiful. I chose this hotel for 2 reasons, its location and the heated pool. After a day of shopping and an evening of swimming we decided to call room service for dinner. I called 3 times and no one answered. I then went down to the restaurant located in the hotel. 4 staff members walked right past me as we waited to be seated or to have an order taken. There was a wedding in the hotel and a groomsman (who was intoxicated however very pleased with the bartenders services) apologized for the staff and assured me someone would be around to help. I then spoke with the bartender and explained to him I would like to order food. He told me “someone will be around to take your order”. I got tired of waiting and made my way to the front desk, I explained my issue and they called the restaurant to verify they were serving due to the wedding. They were and I was advised to return to the restaurant and put my order in with the bartender. To my amazement the same person that told me someone would be around to take my order was the same person who was supposed to take my order in the first place. The system was down and only cash was being accepted so I had to walk back to the lobby to the ATM and I got locked out of my room because for some reason my room key would not work. It seems like what should have been a simple 3 minute phone call turned into an hour long fiasco of making laps up and down from my room to the lobby and back and forth from the restaurant to the help desk. Overall my experience would be average. I expected the level of professionalism within the hotel to be better.
