I have to say, my last stay was a very eventful one. I travel on business at least 4 times a year and always stay at the Sheraton. The rooms are lovely and the views of the harbour and Signals Hill beautiful. The staff at the hotel are always wonferful, ready to meet your every need, but my last stay really put them to the test, and they passed with flying colors. I was staying at the hotel with my husband and daughter during Hurricane Leslie. The power was out at the hotel and we were on the 7th floow which meant taking the stairs. The staff were available to all the guests to escor t us up and down the stairs, provide us with flashlights, answer any questions, all with a smile on their face. I am sure they got their excercise that day. Even though most businesses were closed, the restaurant in the hotel was open with a buffet to ensure guests were well fed. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat. Thanks you for always making my stay a pleasant experience!

We had trouble with the internet, but a problem with our bill was cleared up quickly and friendly. The room was soo nice, we really enjoyed being in St Johns and at the Sheraton NFLD

Booked a room to celeberate a very special occassion 40th wedding anniversary. Had to wait till 3pm to check in as room was not ready. I requested a special room so it should have been available earlier instead of having to wait in the lobby for almost 2 hrs.

I stay at this hotel often. I find the staff to be the best at any hotel that I have stayed at.
The front desk staff is superb. They are attentive and follow up extremely well on any issue.
The food is excellent. I recently had a catered dinner in a private room and the service was exceptional.

Great view of Narrows. Clean room and housekeeping went an extra mile as we both had the flu for part of our stay. The restaurant has a lot of competition from excellent choices within close walking distance. Staff in reception, housekeeping and the spa were excellent.

This hotel is beautiful but if you are staying there while they are holding a conference or an event, you will likely be out of luck for parking. I spent an hour each night of my two night stay just waiting for someone to leave. I would stay here again but only if I didnt have a rental car.

My stay was Monday to Thursday on business. It was wonderful to relax in the pool each evening, and better yet that I had it to myself. My room was very comfortable and spacious. The bed was heavenly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A very enjoyable stay, I would recommend this hotel.

This was the first time I had stayed at this hotel in a VERY long time. I will definitely be back again! The place was clean, staff friendly and helpful, and the room was great! Parking can sometimes be a bit challenging but it does compare to parking at some of the other hotels in the city.

I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Friendly and helpful staff everywhere I turned. They couldn't do enough to help me regardless of what I was looking for. The facilities were terrific. In the end I only have one small complaint ... I wasn't able to stay longer!

The hotel is beautiful with all the high end amenities. My room was beautiful however attention to detail in the area of cleanliness lacked. The carpet needed a thorough vacuuming and the bathroom needed a good wipe down. I'd go back and even recommend it but thought you'd like to know.

Without question, we have enjoyed the consistent high quality of staff service, facility and experience at this hotel. We can count on our expectations being met, or often exceeded every time, which is rare when you travel as much as we do .... Kudos to the Team at Hotel Newfoundland !

This was our 27th anniversary and when we got to the room there was a lovely desert on the table and it was all set up wiyh with napkins and forks for us. A great touch which really enhanced our stay.
Great harbor view.
The newly renovated rooms were very clean and modern.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, rooms are very clean and modern and the beds are a little piece of Heaven. Will definately be staying here again and would recommend to anyone to stay at a Starwood hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Great location in the heart of St. John's. We live on the west coast of Canada and were very pleased by the warm welcome we received from our eastern compatriots.

This hotel is ideal for either business or pleasure. The staff are top notch and really go out of their way to see that you have a good stay.
The Bivver bar is a great place to have a meal and relax after a long day.

From the Staff at the Front Desk to the Housekeeping Staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. The Pool and Workout Room are Excellent. Bar service and Dining is Great ! This was one of the Best Stays that I have had.

Hotel is in a great location and is up to date with current trends. The new lobby is really nice and even though I never got to dine at the restarant it looked very inviting.

Efficient and friendly service, nothing to much trouble
Staff in the restaurant attentive and good service
Upgrade of fitness centre ongoing so facilities are a little restriced, as are the times available for use.

One complaint: the remote control for the TV was not adequate. couldn't use from the bed, had to be standing next to the tv in order for it to work. Buttons on the control seemed to be not working properly.

Post something online to let guests know ahead of time.

We had the most amazing room with a spectacular view. We certainly loved the whole experience, and the staff could not be more helpful and not to mention cheerful. We will be back for sure :)

Great hotel but every time there is a convention it becomes virtually impossible to find a parking space.
If hotel can not guarantee space for its customers, it may loose customers like me
