Rated 5 out of 5 by First Visit We will definitely return to this hotel if we can. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff, especially our maid, Nirmala, were very friendly and accommodating. Being recognized as a SPG member a nice feeling also. April 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by FANTASTIC You wouldn't guess from the outside that this Sheraton is stunning inside. The rooms were amazing, clean, updated and comfortable. The staff...amazing!! Harold's had great staff, food, and we even met Harold! A colleague lost her BB (I know) and the staff found it, let us know where it was, they held onto it when we got back from dinner. Eventhough far from our Burnaby office, this hotel is a must stay recommended. Can I give 10 stars? March 2, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by first rate accommodation Polite and welcoming front desk staff; comfortable and spacious room, well fitted out for a business traveller; a plumbing malfunction was promptly and courteously attended to; very good restaurant with a varied menu and attentive service; Starbucks off the lobby; convenient parking; close to transportation; will stay there again. Rated 2 out of 5 by Too much noise The room was nice but the door allowed far too much noise into the room from the hallway. Throughout the night, I could easily hear people who were speaking in respectful, quiet tones. I was planning to report this to the staff when I checked out but they never asked how my stay was. Disappointing. February 22, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Convenient for Airport Booked hotel because of proximity to airport and information from Oak Bay Marine group that they offered special rates for their members. I booked reservation on Sheraton website but was not offered opportunity to select Oak Bay Marine group rates. When I arrived I was told that I could not take advantage of offer because I had booked on line. Staff was very attentive and let me store a bag for 3 days before I had actual reservation. Complimentary water bottles in the room. No ice machine on my floor and trip to the floor below was to ice machine that was out of order. Dissapointed that breakfast was not availabe until 6:30 as I needed to leave at 7:00. King size bed that was too soft for my needs-I believe it was a pillow top. Very clean! June 24, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Convenient location to airport, but some disappointments We had expected that because I am Platinum that the Club Floor would be available on the weekendbecause we had heard that all hotels now have it open 7 days a week. The cappuccino machine didn't work on Saturday evening, there was only one computer and we were rushed because someone wnated to use it, too, and the apples that were in a bowl looked past their prime. We'll try a different Starwood property next time. Club Floor not available on weekend for appetizers and b-fast. Did give us a buffet coupon. Generous. October 30, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great dog-friendly hotel! This hotel is conveniently located in Richmond, next to a large shopping mall and close to the airport. There's a free 24hr shuttle service to the airport which is very convenient. Rooms are very nice and clean, beds are super comfortable and this hotel is dog-friendly! Excellent, friendly service. We have stayed here twice and will be staying a third time - no complaints. January 3, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Treated like a "second-class citizen" This review concerns my overnight say on January 21, 2012....my fourth visit. I was given a room in the old wing and was assured this to be superior lodging. When I opened the door I was surprised see a run down condition and a heating system running as loud as a freight train. At my insistence I got moved to a 6th floor room in the new wing...which was not as nice as rooms in my prior visits. Of course the club was not open during the weekend and I felt my poor treatment was in accordance with me using the "cash and points" payment arrangement. This experience makes me think this facility does not value its Starwood affiliation and Starwood's associated members. I will stay elsewhere on my next trip through Vancouver...since I have used this hotel as a refreshing point upon returning to the US after skiing in Whistler. January 25, 2012
