Rated 3 out of 5 by ADPcoach disappointing service when I called
I called after receiving my bill. I have been staying at this hotel every month for 2 nights for the last 5 months. For the last 2 months I have had 2 rooms, one for an employee of mine. When I received my bills this time I was charged for bottled water, which has never happened before. It is a nominal charge, but I wanted to let the hotel know I was a preferred Starwood member and that this was completely overlooked. I called the hotel and was greeted by an annoyed woman who put me on hold for over 5 minutes and then I was disconnected. There are plenty of other hotels in this area and when i come back next month, I will consider staying elsewhere.

Overall a nice facility but had a few issues. First, while I was bringing in the bags my child cracked a water bottle for a drink and we found out at checkout it cost us $4. Second, we left a jacket in the room and made two calls to see if it could be retrieved since we didn't realize it until we were back in Chicago and still haven't heard back.

We stayed at the Sheraton Brookfield last weekend, because it was the only SPG hotel available that weekend. Upon check in, we were given a room in the Milwaukee section, which was an upgrade from our stay last year. Nicer, newer, much more well kept room. We were also given access to the club level although we were one floor down, as we are gold members. We arrived late and thought we would take the kids to the pool. The pools were extemely crowded and appeared to have some sort of junior high boys birthday party going on. There were about 15 rowdy boys eating pizza and making a complete mess in the pool area. They also made us feel uncomfortable as if we were ruining their party. I was very surprised that the hotel would allow this in a "business" hotel. We went out and returned hours later in the evening, the party was still going on, and the pool area was trashed. The next day staff had come to put out towels on the chairs and open the pool. The trash still remained all over the tables, pizza boxes and such. It was gross. We never used the pool.
In the club room there were only 2 tables and a TV with a coffee table. We attempted to eat breakfast, but two families had camped out on the tables, for an extremely long time and there was no where to sit. The breakfast display was nice, but at 8:00 most of it was gone. A very non-friendly staff member came in to restock some of the items, but only refilled cereal and water. It would have been a nice breakfast if it had been properly manned. Sending someone in at 8:40 when it closes as 9 seemed silly, as it would have been nice to be restocked sooner. Luckily I paid for this hotel in points. I hope there is a better SPG choice in Milwaukee as we go there often. I will try to make my reservations sooner.

Upon our arrival we were greeted with professional and accommodating front desk representative, Jacquelynne Barret.
We were unaware of the rewards program and she helped us become a member.
We were in Mlwaukee with 2 of our grandsons for the final baseball game and as many parents and grandparents certain amenities have to be there. Luckily for the swimming pool but unfortunately as we were told there was not a game room to be seen. As one staff person put it, no where here to be seen.
Checking out was not as pleasant. The gentleman was unaware of the rewards program and their requirements. Unfortunately for us there are disclaimers not shared. The female representative that showed up to help responded to us in a very condescending manner and we left the hotel with a bad taste in our mouth.
No matter how great your rooms are or your restaurant and food services are, the customer service representatives make or break a return to your facility

The first full day we were at the hotel, we ordered room service for lunch (two sandwiches and a salad). We waited over 90 minutes and then when the order arrived, the salad was replaced with a wrap. We took the green option, so the final day we were there, I called guest services to have two cups, two tea bags and 4 sweeteners brought up to the room. It took them over an hour to finally bring it up and it was only after I called to complain that we received it.

I have stayed at this hotel every month for the past three years. My April 2014 stay was awful. My first night I had a poor night sleep due to partying in the room next to me: the adjoining doors let a lot of the noise through. The people in the next room were loud and used profanity ad nauseam. The next morning I explained the problem to the front desk and they assured me that these people were checking out. That night the same people in the same room were at it again. I had to call the front desk twice before they were able to get these people to quite down. I headed down to check out early Sunday morning and the elevator was full of beer and trash to the point that it was not usable.

You may not wish to publish this. Upon arrival I was greeted from the female attendant at the front desk as I waited with the comment as she typed on her keyboard, "come on over, I don't bite." From there she did answer my question and I left. I no longer saw her the rest of the stay and the other front desk clerks were quite accommodating. I found the gift shop attendant to be unfriendly as well, as well as not very helpful. It appears there may be a monopoly on the taxis and paid transportation availability opportunities thru the gift shop. We did enjoy the kind room attendants and when we asked to have toiletries delivered, they were given promptly. The grounds were clean and tidy as well as the rooms.

Had to cancel a room wless than 24 hours because of an emergency. still charging for one night. Other hotel chains do not have this policy.
Have cancelled all futrue reservations at thsi hotel. will never stay there again unless directed by my company.

The Sheraton Brookfield Wi. has a great facility but I encountered a gross lack of employees. Check in was very cumbersome due to the lack of clean rooms. when we did get to our room the entire hallway was littered with dirty linen. The restaurant that evening was again grossly understaffed! Only 2 workers were on. Maybe workers quit or simply did not show up any way it was a total mess. The Milwaukee Brewers were playing ,the Wi. State Fair and a large Wedding. We were never accknowledged while in the restaurant for over a half hour.

The dining room leaves a lot to be desired; the layout etc. On a Saturday, the bar was closed until around 4 or 5, until there was a party.
The room door has a space of about 1inch on the bottom. This became very noisy around 11PM when very noisy partygoers decided to continue their party in the hallway.

While in town on business, I was stranded overnight in Milwaukee due to a few cancelled flights by the airline. With a major event happening downtown, all hotels were sold out so I had to stay here, close to my office. It was a quick in and out stay, but met my expectations as it has many times before. My only issue was that I had booked a special pre-paid rate which was supposed to come with a World Cup-themed gift at check-in however that was never mentioned to me (and I did not bring it up to the staff who checked me in). While the gift was clearly "while supplies last" I feel they should have acknowledged it since the room rate was higher than the standard rate... essentially paying a bit more for a chance to receive the gift.

Hotel very comfortable and (most of the time) very quiet; bed and bedding super comfortable and luxurious! Staff very friendly and responsive. I would appreciate better lighting -- enough lights but need brighter bulbs -- this may be an issue of trying to be more environamentally conscious but for middle-aged and older people good lighting is a must.

I have found Sheraton Club floors to be extremely convenient and beneficial...until I stayed at the Milwaukee Brookfield hotel. The food was awful. the selection lethargic. I can find better selections for breakfast at discount hotel.Coffee and hot water were only available during breakfast hours. The door was locked when I went for water. I was sorely disappointed that I paid an extra $30 each night. I will remember to never do that again! I was just at a Sheraton in Baltimore the week prior that was marvelous

I have stayed here maybe 8 times because of its proximity to the state fair, Miller Park, and other places. It is a weird complex with more than one building connected by breezeways. This time was bad though. They said they had my Platinum status on file, so I didn't ask about upgrades or club access, figuring it should be standard. Five minutes before the end of the evening lounge appetizers, I went to the club and couldn't get the hallway door open because they hadn't enabled my club access. So I went to the front desk, and they gave me access, but by then, the service was over. My mom went to make coffee in the morning, and all we had was decaf (what's the point)! She went to the club at breakfast, but there were no spoons, nothing left to eat, no more milk, kids everywhere with their parents shoving in the line, etc. Not even any more water bottles. Blah, just not a comfy stay.

SPG made a mistake and told us a room would sleep 4 when it clearly did not. We called down and it took nearly 2 hours to straighten out. We were told other rooms were available but they wouldn't give one to us "in case other people were coming to check in later." Finally SPG helped us get put into a room that would fit all of us. The next day the club lounge only had one employee who couldn't handle the crowd. They were out of coffee and food for over an hour. Not an enjoyable experience. If this hotel had a multimillion dollar remodel as it boasts, I'm not sure where the money was spent. There were cracked windows covered with tape on the fourth floor and new dressers with places for refrigerators but without refrigerators. So strange The staff does little to make people feel welcome or SPG members important. I stayed here only because of the fair and will not return.

We got there at 10:30 PM and our 3 rooms weren't ready. Then 30 minutes later, one room was available so I had to take that room because my 3 year old needed to get some sleep. It wasn't the room I was supposed to get upgraded to; instead, my sister-n-law got it. Then the other two rooms weren't ready until midnight.
My husband and I didn't take a shower the next day because there were only washcloths and no big towels.

For the room rate, the hotel met my expectations. It is clean and staff is friendly. However, there are certain maintenance items that you may experience during your stay due to the age of the hotel. For example, a leaking sink or running toilet. One other note is that parking in front of the hotel is limited so you may need to park behind the hotel and then walk to the lobby to check-in which is my biggest complaint especially when there is inclement weather.

We have stayed at this hotel in past years. Rooms have been redone since last stay and are more attractive. Bedding was comfortable. We were disappointed that there was no refrigerator or microwave, even though there was a space under the counter for a refrigerator. Had we known, we would have brought a cooler. Ice bucket was missing a plastic liner bag so we didn't feel like using the ice for beverages. Coffee service only provided for 3 cups of coffee and not enough cream. Bathroom was ok but nothing special. Where base tile met the floor, there was an unpleasant looking scum. Otherwise clean. Fan in bathroom was annoying and could not be turned off separately from light. Was disappointed that hotel offers no complimentary breakfast - not even a minimal continental. Restaurant prices are high so we went elsewhere for breakfast. Room prices seemed a bit high for what was included - basically just the room. Would have stayed somewhere else that included breakfast, but everything was booked. A plus for this hotel is location. Close to expressway and to a shopping mall if you need that.

First of all, everything was clean and presentable in our room. However, we opened the cabinent only to find an empty space. No Refrifg! And the bathroom very small and if over 5' 10" the mirror is set too low. We were at club level and the entry door kept slamming...we were close to the door..nuisance all night...We had to get ice for our cooler and that was another trip...

This is a very nice hotel. Front desk staff were very nice and the room was nice and clean. It was a surprise to see both an indoor and outdoor pool, and the breakfast buffet was very good, and reasonably priced.

We made our reservations 3 months in advance to have adjoining rooms so our son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids would be close to us so we could help with babysitting. When we checked in we were going to be on different floors. We did get on the same floor but different wings.

I booked the room with SPG points and received marginal service. Supposed to have Starbucks coffee in room - had to ask guest services for it first day and the second day the cleaning attendant said "no, only Folgers." Room was supposed to have a sweet sleeper bed - it did not and given the size of the room I don't know how that would have been possible anyway so the children slept on the floor. The gym however, was inviting and the pool water was clear.

The breakfast offer with our deal was terrible, it ran from 6:30-900 we went at 8:00 and there was hardly any food and no hot food. At 8:15 asked the attendant for more hot food she responded well we only serve till 9:00, but said she would order up some at 9:40 left with a apple and had to eat breakfast at restaurant .
