I can't say enough good things about the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield. As a business executive who's stayed there for over 10 years they go out of their way to make sure everyone is looked after. Additionally we hold many business meetings there and they have always exceeded our expectations. ~ Jim

While in town on business, I was stranded overnight in Milwaukee due to a few cancelled flights by the airline. With a major event happening downtown, all hotels were sold out so I had to stay here, close to my office. It was a quick in and out stay, but met my expectations as it has many times before. My only issue was that I had booked a special pre-paid rate which was supposed to come with a World Cup-themed gift at check-in however that was never mentioned to me (and I did not bring it up to the staff who checked me in). While the gift was clearly "while supplies last" I feel they should have acknowledged it since the room rate was higher than the standard rate... essentially paying a bit more for a chance to receive the gift.

This property is a large meeting-oriented property on the west side of the city in a fairly nice suburban location. If you have high expectations,they will not be met; but my expectations for an older hotel were exceeded--especially by friendly customer service at the front desk and in the restaurant. The rooms are standard; the club lounge is a converted room with poor food selection -- not worth paying more for, that's for sure. If you get a competitive rate, there's nothing bad about staying here and it beats paying $20 for parking at the downtown properties.

You may not wish to publish this. Upon arrival I was greeted from the female attendant at the front desk as I waited with the comment as she typed on her keyboard, "come on over, I don't bite." From there she did answer my question and I left. I no longer saw her the rest of the stay and the other front desk clerks were quite accommodating. I found the gift shop attendant to be unfriendly as well, as well as not very helpful. It appears there may be a monopoly on the taxis and paid transportation availability opportunities thru the gift shop. We did enjoy the kind room attendants and when we asked to have toiletries delivered, they were given promptly. The grounds were clean and tidy as well as the rooms.

Very thin-walled rooms (third floor, did not seem to be the same on the first floor) where you wake up to the sound of someone doing his morning bathroom routine. At night you will enjoy the sound of other peoples tv watching or conversations.
The rooms are very cold during this time of year, and it's not even that cold outside.
The internet service is very up and down (works 30 minutes, complete stop for a while - works for a while but this time slow - complete stop etc.) which makes it hard to get any work done in your room.
The breakfast buffet is not great. Scrambled eggs is just a huge pile of eggs whisked together.
The hotel is undergoing remodeling - or at least getting new carpet - and I hope that will solve some of the issues.

Over the past several years I have stayed at this hotel. Usually my stays are anywhere from four to ten nights each time. I love this hotel. I travel from Houston, Texas to visit friends and family often that live in the area.
The people are not only professional, but they are gtenuinely friendly and hospitable. This ranges from the front desk staff, to housekeeping, to the food and beverage staff, the maintenance staff, and to anyone else that's around and about. I have never had one instance where I haven't felt like anything less than family. If I ever need anything during my stay there, it's always taken care of and it's taken care of quickly.
The property itself is well taken care of and loks great. The building has been around for a while, but you really can't tell and it sits really nice within the area it occupies. The rooms are really clean and the noises are really quiet if not non-existent. I also have to say that the rooms are a great size. A lot of the newr hotels are shrinking their room size a bit. These room s are not only clean, they're spacious.
The location is great. It's right next to the interstate, a nice mall, and in a safe area that has a lot of great places to eat with easy access to the drug stores, grocery stores, gas staions, and anything else that you may need. I travel all over while I'm there (Miller Park, downtown, to museums, the lake-front, day trips to Chicago, etc.). The location is great because they are all easy to get to.
This hotel is great and I love staying there while I'm in Milwaukee or need to do something in the area. It hands-down beats anything else in the area and you won't find better people.

I was a little dissappointed in this stay, the floor we stayed on was very noisy most of the short time we were there. We also typically get club level access, we did not get that this time (nor the last time). Not available for our level of SPG. Considering other options next time.

The location of this hotel is convenient for the business traveler. However, it is evident the hotel licensee has put minimal, if any, money into upkeep. The facility is old and poorly maintained. In addition, the "Sheraton Club" has the most dismal and cheap hor's doevrus!! Ghastly! Lastly, the young lady whom I inquired about a cup of coffee around 6:15am should learn that she is in the "service" business and not working for a

I have stayed here for 4 years now. I love the location. Miller Park is not far, there is a huge Mall next door. The workout rooms and pool is perfect for my needs. The food is very good. The staff is very helpful and very courteous. I have been in this area for 10 years and by far the best place I have stayed at and wont stay anywhere else as long as the doors are open.

The 4th of July weekend could not have gone better. My family and I had a great time by the pool and all the staff at the Brookfield Sheraton were super delightful. We really didn't want to leave.

I booked the room with SPG points and received marginal service. Supposed to have Starbucks coffee in room - had to ask guest services for it first day and the second day the cleaning attendant said "no, only Folgers." Room was supposed to have a sweet sleeper bed - it did not and given the size of the room I don't know how that would have been possible anyway so the children slept on the floor. The gym however, was inviting and the pool water was clear.

I have found Sheraton Club floors to be extremely convenient and beneficial...until I stayed at the Milwaukee Brookfield hotel. The food was awful. the selection lethargic. I can find better selections for breakfast at discount hotel.Coffee and hot water were only available during breakfast hours. The door was locked when I went for water. I was sorely disappointed that I paid an extra $30 each night. I will remember to never do that again! I was just at a Sheraton in Baltimore the week prior that was marvelous

The first night we were forced to change rooms due to a faulty lock on the adjoining room door. We were downgraded rooms instead of upgraded. When we moved we left a charger in the room, we called housekeeping for 2 days and they never responded until we went to the front desk to ask for it. Children were allowed to mess around on the cardio equipment and when it was reported nothing was done. Families were allowed to have a pizza party in the business center which made it difficult for anyone to use. If I have a choice Ill never again choose to stay here.

This hotel was like an old hospital converted and although the meeting space and other things in the hotel were clean, our room was seemed out of date and was not well maintained. When I mentioned to the front desk that we had bugs crawling in the room they just said Sorry and kept working on other things. I definitely will not be returning to this property.

check in was easy.Lynn at front desk was very helpful and friendly. When iI went back to front desk with questions all of the staff were kind and always smiling.The room were comfortable. I am hard of hearing and the staff wasn't annoyed in taking time to understand and explain sometimes twice.

04/21/14 Just had a recent stay for an overnight because of a wedding in the Milwaukee area. Staff has always been very pleasant and helpful during our previous stays along with this one as well. We wanted to mention however, that the recent renovation of the facility was done very well. We had a very comfortable room with pleasant surroundings. Enjoyed our small plates and breakfast from the Alfiere bar/dining area. Keep up the good work! We will be seeing you again for sure!

This hotel has a friendly and professional staff but the physical facility is extremely shop worn and in need of renovation. Carpets are dirty and thread bare. TV in the room did not work and required an engineer to assit. Bedding is polyester.i would rather pay a little more and stay somewhere that is updated and clean.

We stay here 3-4 times a year due to doctor appointments in the area. My husband is in a wheelchair and we really like the handicapped rooms here. Roomy and comfortable and easy accessibility. Handy to restaurants and to Froedtert.

For $250.00 a night this hotel was not worth it. The bathroom light was burnt out, and the sink stopped was broke. I had to take time out of my schedule to report this to front desk and when I checked out two days later these still had not been fixed/repaired. Again, for the amount of money spent per night and no free breakfast included thought that was not right. Not impressed at all!! Would never stay at a Sheraton hotel again. !!!

We came into town for the NCAA basketball tournament. We booked using the NCAA package this hotel offered. Check in person was so nice. Gave us our drink tickets, told us about the breakfast and printed us some maps for directions. The restaurant people were great also. The buffet was very good and it was a bonus to have it included in our package. The room was nice and clean. Pool area was simple but our kids enjoyed it. Great location by the mall and close to downtown.

Even though we are gold club members, this is the first hotel we were banned from using the club lounge. We were told it was only for platinum members and our key card would not work in the door lock. We were also told that the lounge was not yet open for use, but I saw food in there and a person enjoying himself in the lounge. When talking to the desk staff they did not seem very impressed that we are gold members. This was the poorest experience we've had so far since we have been starwood members.

Although the room was beginning to show a measure of use, it was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable considering it wasn't my own bed. I brought a pillow from home, but found the down pillow that was provided was more comfortable. The throw blanket under the comforter actually had me looking it up on the internet to find a similar one for purchase. The hotel encouraged us to go "green" by putting out a sign on the door that deferred room cleaning the next day. This was rewarded with a $5.00 certificate under the door that could be used in their restaurant or hotel during your stay. I thought that was a great idea and took advantage of it. We ate at Flemings Steak House down the street when we first arrived, but found the food at the hotel's restaurant much better and at less cost. The only problem we had was upon check-in. We were part of a large convention and I know of several people, myself included, who had rooms "cancelled" inexplicably. I was told I must have called to cancel, which wasn't true, but they did reinstate the original reservation. I personally think they overbooked with the belief many would cancel, but that made it awkward when we arrived looking for our room. This proved to be the only minor hick-up, but it was quickly resolved. I only hope that was the case with others who faced the same problem.

Very nice hotel. Located within walking distance of a mall and many restaurants, plus there is a Fresh Market near by as well.
I only had breakfast at the SMBH but it was always excellent. Top notch reception and wait staff.
The room was great. Quiet, comfortable, and a better than average shower.
By far the perfect place to stay for business, travel, or vacation. I highly recommend the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield.
