Rated 4 out of 5 by Rafael2016 One night stay
We only stayed one night on the way from Montreal to Niagara Falls. We wanted to visit Downtown Toronto, and i read that we could use the shuttle from the hotel to the airport and take the train from there. It was more budget friendly than the hotels in DT and we didn't have to face the traffic. When we arrived and called down, the "concierge" had no idea what i was talking about and told me to take the bus somewhere and some other steps. I went down to FD and the girl was able to give me the correct info. The woman that checked us wasn't particularly nice either, but we are low maintenance and only there for one night, so we don't let things like that bother us. Overall was a fine stay.

This was my first trip outside the United States and I have to say that I was impressed. The Staff was very courteous to me when I walked through the door, Check was a breeze. And with the proximity to the Airport, it was a little noisy due to arriving and departing flights but not too much. If you are travelling to Toronto, I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel grounds were littered with rubbish. There was several large piles of towels in the hallway waiting to be picked up by housekeeping (5:00 pm when we checked in). The carpet in the hallway hadn't been vacuumed, and some of the glass table surfaces in the hall had handprints on them. Once we had unpacked and settled in I found a cucumber slice on the floor by the drapes forgotten or missed by housekeeping. We asked for extra towels, but never got them. In the morning I started to brew some coffee with the in room coffee maker and found a used tea bag in the grounds basket. As we were packing up my wife pointed out a rather large hair ball under the luggage stand. At this point I am not sure they changed the bed linens. So yeah, I wouldn't recommend staying here. On the positive side we didn't get bedbugs.

Can't say enough good things about this particular Sheraton. Have stayed at least 3 or 4 times over the past few years and each time our expectations have been exceeded. From staff to each service provided we have been completely satisfied. We have stayed at some of the best hotels in Canada and Europe - and few match the level of service, comfort and quality for price as this Sheraton.

As always I attend F.E. every March and find a very nice stay in the hotel. Friendly greetings at check in, friendly staff and a comfortable stay.
the Gift shop guy is great and puts up with a lot of noise and silliness outside his little shop but is super friendly. and helpful.
the only thing I'd change is the restaurant i know your up scale but you are also kinda remote. reasonable prices and more attentive, less attitude would be nice.
overall its a nice hotel to stay in and i would recommend it for your next stay. I'm sad we won't be returning next year as FE is moving to a bigger hotel but thank you to all at this hotel and its staff for making it feel like home all these years.
