The location and staff at this location are excellent. This was my second stay and was very pleasant. The porter who took our luggage to our room (Donald/Daniel?) was a hoot. Very entertaining. I just wish there was a vent in the bathrooms so that it wouldn't steam up. Room 3615 was a bit noisy with elevator sounds but not enough to wake us up. I will be back for sure.

I stood in line for nearly an hour to check in and my room wasn't ready. The gentleman that checked me in told me that I would not have to stand in line again to receive my room keys once my room was available, but I again had to stand in line over 30 min to get keys.
I was told that I received 10,000 points, which equaled one free night. I checked for my points and they are no where to be found.
I am completely disappointed with my stay there and staff.

Great location. Walking to everything from Bourbon Street, to street cars, river, restaurants .......
Staff very good at suggesting places for jazz, food, dessert, tours.

Upon arrival we upgraded our Gold to Platinum in order to use the Club level services and a better room. Our room turned out to be located adjacent to the elevators and it was like sleeping in a subway station! My wife and I hardly got any sleep that night. I spoke with the SPG desk in the morning and they did move us to a quieter room for the rest of our stay. The bathroom toilet in our room only worked well if you held the handle down for the entire flush, not impressed. We normally use your save the environment option for towels and sheets, but the sheets when we got into our room had a couple of small blood stains so we asked for everything to be changed daily. Finally, I have yet to receive an email receipt of my stay and will be calling them to obtain one for my expense report. We always enjoy our stays at the Sheratons and Westins but this time was a disappointment.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton for a conference for 5 days. It is a great location! Close to everthing. Staff was professional, yet personal. I booked a king size with view of Mississippi, we so enjoyed watching the river, ships etc. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice, updated decor in lobby and rooms. I would definetely recommend and stay again myself. Thanks Sheraton New Orleans!

I recently stayed at your property while attending a small convention. The room was lovely and the staff very attentive. The location is GREAT! Easy access to the French Quarter and Burbon Street. Safe, clean and a vibrant lobby. I would definitely stay again.

Check in was excellent: very professional, kind and fast.
Room: Ventalation was poor, toilet had to be flushed many times to work
Maid: not friendly, may have had to work all day.

Lobby and Rooms were updated but I had issues with: Having to change rooms due to plumbing leaks; second room was missing a desk lamp, which was corrected; conflicting rates for parking fee, which was corrected at check-out; temperature of the water (no hot or cold, just luke-warm), which did not get addressed all week; inconsistent information concerning SPG events; overall, not what I expected based on stays at other Sheraton properties.
