The pool water is very dirty. The shower need pool couldn't be used.

The hotel visit started off great. Hotel was easy to find, I noticed it was directly next to a subway station, and the front desk offered to upgrade us to suites. Perfect.
Everything after has been downhill. Upon arrival to the rooms, one reeks of smoke (in a nonsmoking room). This is a big no, as a few members of my family have asthma. The hotel opened the windows... Getting past that, as this is China after all. When taking my family to the platinum lounge, in front of the guests, we had to argue if we could sit in the half-empty lounge as we had "too many people to enjoy the platinum benefits". Okay, so there's a limit. Not noted when booking online, so my family had expected we could enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Not possible. For the afternoon happy hour 268RMB. This is quite a disappointment as my mom had a salad and my sister had a plate of fruit. You can purchase soft drinks individually too. You have to ask though, what's the point? Why would I stay at a hotel chain over 125 nights, so two people in my party of six could enjoy the benefits? Poor excuse of service. Staff was rude about the entire thing and weren't able to provide a clear explanation other than this is how it is. Honestly quite embarrassing to tel your family if they want a plate of fruit it's US$40. Save yourself the time and humiliation and stay elsewhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DP726 Sheraton Xi'an City North is really fantastic.
Coz I have an important project in Xi'an, I have stayed with City North for 5 stays so far. Frankly, I really love this hotel.
Reason 1: Near to the airport
Reason 2: Really well-trained staff. The lady at Business Lounge is excellent. Helped me to organize a brief meeting in lounge meeting room. Moreover, I was surprised she could call my name the next time I check-in.
Reason 3: Sophisticated Fitness Center. The equipment is brandly new.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SPGlifer000 Disappointed
Poor SPG Platinum recognition, no real room upgrade. Ended up with a room with ultra thin walls, where I could heard phone conversations clearly from the room next door. Breakfast was unimpressive. Couldn't find bell boy at the main entrance most of the time. Some staff were okay, while 1 male staff at Club Lounge should be fired for his poor attitude.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maktak THOROUGHLY EXCELLENT, BUT...
1. Very convenient! Just ONE minute walk from the Metro exit is unbeatable! The north part of the city is not as desperately jammed as the South, traffic is less horrible and it's much easier to catch a taxi...
2. Nice decor overall, and comfortable rooms (apart from the hard to slide bathroom partitions)
3. Food from Feast and Club Lounge is good enough to it's brand name (honestly, much better than Xian Westin's). Though Steakhouse offers gourmet material of fine quality, it is a pity that the cooking let down the savour!
4. Last but not least, hotelier service is superb, bellboys to managers... well, at least most of them! They are pleasant, helpful, and pretty proactive to ensure us a comfortable stay. And personnel like Mr Ken Wang, Ms Ina Wang, and Ms Mino Sun, to name a few, should be mentioned (and even decorated!) Their contribution to the Hotel should be gratefully ascertained!
