i stayed the hotel from Oct.24th to 27th. when i checked out i was told no invoice but the guy promised the invoice should mailed to me in next day and i wrote down my post address. 5 days later nothing appeared in my office, i had to call the hotel. someone on the phone checked my name, address, company name what they need. it is apparant that they forgot mailing out but they claim to search in a heaps of invoices.

Poor SPG Platinum recognition, no real room upgrade. Ended up with a room with ultra thin walls, where I could heard phone conversations clearly from the room next door. Breakfast was unimpressive. Couldn't find bell boy at the main entrance most of the time. Some staff were okay, while 1 male staff at Club Lounge should be fired for his poor attitude.

1. Very convenient! Just ONE minute walk from the Metro exit is unbeatable! The north part of the city is not as desperately jammed as the South, traffic is less horrible and it's much easier to catch a taxi...
2. Nice decor overall, and comfortable rooms (apart from the hard to slide bathroom partitions)
3. Food from Feast and Club Lounge is good enough to it's brand name (honestly, much better than Xian Westin's). Though Steakhouse offers gourmet material of fine quality, it is a pity that the cooking let down the savour!
4. Last but not least, hotelier service is superb, bellboys to managers... well, at least most of them! They are pleasant, helpful, and pretty proactive to ensure us a comfortable stay. And personnel like Mr Ken Wang, Ms Ina Wang, and Ms Mino Sun, to name a few, should be mentioned (and even decorated!) Their contribution to the Hotel should be gratefully ascertained!

This is one of the best experienced SPG properties in China. Excellent lounge staff gave us great experiences in Xian. Very accommodating service with Platinum recognition throughout the stay. Highly recommend for SPG members. We'll return soon.

Great accommodation during our short stay in Xian. We were with the Viking tour group & unfortunately do not get credited any points for our stay. We would like to see this policy changed.

The hotel staff service was excellent, each went out of their way to provide assistance. The room was comfortable and very functional, with precise lighting option, one specific/ideal for sleeping with dim lighting just enough to make your way to the bathroom.
The hotel was adjacent (one minute walk) to the subway station entrance. Not many tourist/English friendly restaurants/shops nearby.
The only major negative was the construction in the adjacent property, which just started digging foundation pillars, with loud work starting exactly at 6AM and ending sometimes as late as 8PM. I understand this is not the hotel's fault, and it appears it just started on our arrival date 29 July 2014, thus not enough time to provide sufficient notice prior to booking.
A minor negative was Sheraton/Starwood's typical non-inclusive internet (CNY40++/day most non-US hotels in China have free in-room wifi/internet) - free wifi was available in the lobby, but no designated Link area, only seating area was two sets of tables/chairs, usually busy, sometimes with people smoking, many large tour groups.
