This hotel does not return your call when requested. In addition, never allow the hotel to park your car. The back of my new car was scratched because they decided it was easier for them to back the car up. I have left messages with the hotel manager and have yet to receive a call back. Will never stay here again.

When I first arrived I was met by a friendly staff member who greeted my well. I was disappointed to find SPG does not take Delta sky mile cards any longer. I was checked in and signed up for the SPG card to get free internet in the room. Walking into the room i was please with everything as I got settled in I turned on the tv and found it to be under par with snow on some stations and other where not clear. (need some upgrading in that department). I longed on to the internet to get some work done and had no problem with the connection. I finished work and head to the bar for a quick snack before heading for the evening. I found the bar to be nice but a little pricy the waiter was pleasant but some of the menu descriptions where a bit off as we order something with walnuts and had to ask the waiter where they where. (had to use magnifying glass to find them). Woke up on my second day looking to get some work done but could not get internet service (which if I did not sign up for SPG would have been $9.95) so I was a little disappointed with that. I mentioned it to the desk clerk as i was checking out and she told me they where having problems and would take it off my bill (which was not even suppose to be on my bill) she was pleasant and thanks me for my stay.
For $100 a night and having to pay extras next time come to i may look at a cheaper place with breakfast and free internet.

Not one phone call. We will never stay in a Sheraton again.

The Worst experience we have ever had in the last 30 years. Disorginazed at front desk, Programmed keys incorrectly 3 times, Unjustified Mandatory Valet service- $17 nightly to park your car 50 ft away? realy? Everyone Hates their job here. The only person that smiled the entire visit was the Waiter in the Livingston cafe, Even his boss was scowling when we told him we had a party of 14 for breakfast. We had to direct him on how to arrange the tables. Don't believe that this place is pet friendly, We booked online, which says up to 30lb dogs, we were told the next day that we were on the wrong floor? They put us there and then made us move the next afternoon. The worst part was the following morning we left for an hour, in which someone complained that our dogs were barking, we were then told that we couldnt leave them alone or we had to find a nother place to stay. We were down there for Our son's wedding, in which we had to leave his brother behind to dog sit while we attended the wedding. How Unprofessional can you get? They never cleaned the rooms for our 3 day stay. is that the policy? Pretty shameful. we complained and all they did was justify their un-written. policies. If all this sounds appealing to you, and you can ignore the train whistles blowing in the middle of the night, Give it a shot. The best part is we shelled out $1600 for this Nightmare experience. Needless to say, we wrote an email to Customer relations, as i thought, they have not attempted to call us. The BBB is next on the list. You guys should get out while you can. You are definately in the wrong business

Having stayed at other Sheraton hotels, I expected the Sheraton Downtown Orlando to meet the same standards. Upon arrival we found out we had no choice but to use the hotels valet service for 16 dollar + tax per night. The hotel had a huge parking lot next to it but self park was not an option.
We were in town for a wedding and came back to relax in the hotel room for a few hours prior to the event. It was hard to relax when two memebers of the cleaning staff began yelling loudly at eachother down the hallway. This conitnued for approximately 30 minutes.
Check out is at noon. What they don't tell you is housekeeping will start knocking on your door at 9am to see if you left yet. This happened not once, but twice.
Overall, poor service for the price. I will not be back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by FreqFlyerPlt Beware: Only valet parking
This is your run-of-the-mill Sheraton except for one major detail: there is NO self-parking option at this hotel. You MUST pay for valet parking which is currently $16+ tax per day. The SPG website and mobile app led me to believe that valet parking is optional, but beware that this is the ONLY parking option at this facility.
I would not advise trying to find street parking around this hotel, because there is very little parking available, and the surrounding area appears seedy and unsafe at night. However, the staff advised me that this was my only other option if I did not pay for the valet parking.

Looking for a weekday getaway to relax and enjoy each other,is what we expected when we booked our 2 night stay. Upon arriving at this property,we quickly learned that simply was not going to be the case. The swimming pool had green alge throughout the bottom and the hot tub had a fence bolted to the opening to prevent it from being used. Then to find out it hasn't been open for 6 months was more upsetting.
