Hello Sheraton Team,
I do not usually make comments because a typically stay at one of your hotels is satisfactory or better. However, this time the facility was in need of help, I complained from the outset of my stay about the toilet running in my room that was never repaired and one of my co workers toilet overflowed at 0130 in the morning. Not to mention the lobby bathrooms down due to pluming problems.

I stay in hotels at least 170 nights a year. The staff at this property is always very nice, the food is excellent, and the rooms are very comfortable. The shuttle service makes it very convenient. I highly recommend it.

Very high noise level. Blackout curtains in room did a good job for the light blocking. Curtains do nothing for sound.
There are ambulances and fire trucks with sirens blaring every several minutes - all night long. We were there on a Saturday night so perhaps there is more emergency traffic then.

Exemplary customer service, kindness, honesty and integrity. Amanda Becford and Housekeeping assisted me with recovery of personal items left in the room. I had left my Surface tablet but had not realized that I had also left my jewelry. ALL items were recovered and returned. Upholding these moral values, meant the world to me.

If you want a hotel to be invested in the success of your event, conference, meeting, wedding, party or anything ... Sheraton Stamford is the place to be! Every single staff member from front of house to back of house are delightful, well trained, completely invested in their job and in the success of your event. Mr Michael Bennett has created an exceptional team who make you feel like you are home. We love our Sheraton Stamford!

Fortunately only a short stop in Stamford and this Sheraton - I don't understand Starwood keeping this Sheraton under their brand. The hotel is huge, that makes everything quiet unpersonal.
The Check In was efficient, my only wish was a qiet room; so thank yo for me getting a room on the 1st out of approx 15 floors facing the street...
The room size was okay for a Standard room, bed was Sheraton style, very high and comfortable. Everything else in the room was dirty and dusty. Whatever you touched, you saw the result on your fingers. Bathroom was tiny and out-dated with a bed smell from the sink. AC was loud. Windows completely dirty. carpets full of stains.
In the need of an adapter, I had to buy one (10 dollars for a peace of plastic which was working exactly 1 day before it broke).
Lobby was modern but very loud and not a place to stay longer then you need. When arrived at the Club Lounge, the only drinks where tea and water - no food at all.
All in all it's okay for a short stop-over in the area; but for the price they charge (and the category it is within SPG), you get somewhere else excellent service or can stay a few days - which you definitely don't get here.
