Upon arriving in my room I immediately tried to turn on the TV without success.
I then continually dialled guest services for 15 minutes without response.
When I finally got an answer it was firstly explained that I was using the remote control incorrectly then, when we agreed I did know how to use a remote I was advised that a technician would be sent to my room in a while as he was busy.
My request to speak to the duty manager was handled by putting me on to the front desk manager.
When the Duty Manager finally called I was advised that the TV problem was a common issue, I got no satisfactory response as to why each room was not fully checked prior to occupancy.
The duty manager seemed to think an offered upgrade was the correct way to address my problems.
The correct way was to have the room functioning properly.
When I checked out the following day no fort her contact had been made , nor was my TV working.
This was my second , and final ,stay at this hotel. I prefer the inconvenience of a taxi to a better hotel.

I've stayed at this hotel on countless occasions and have yet to be disappointed. Check-in is efficient, service is friendly and professional and the tower staff and services outstanding.
The lounge is one of the best. Whether it's morning, noon or night, bilingual staff are on hand to make you breakfast, pour you a drink or simply help you to check in and out quickly and effortlessly.
Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, the hotel's location make it a perfect spot either before or after a flight, during the day for a layover, or the unplanned night when a connection is missed. You know you're in good hands when Lufthansa puts you up at the hotel when they have delays.
The rooms are spacious, very well soundproofed and have everything the weary traveler needs.

The hotel and staff have always been my choice for many years. The staff is very attentive and has met all my needs when asked. The only negative is the price of food which breakfast is the maine meal over 40 euros is over half my allowance for the day. I go to Around the world and can eat a good meal for under 8-10 euros.

Sheraton Frankfurt Airport is very convenient especially for a conference like I attended. I also enjoyed fitness room, which is well equipped. I would expect wifi in the room Free of Charge nowadays

Stayed here twice on the month of September 2014. First off, the hotel lets me check in at 7 AM, Got upgraded to their Club Suite at over 900 sq. ft,. with quite large living area, dining/meeting area, complimentary minibar, etc.
Everything is like it's almost free for plats. You get free breakfast at lounge, free snacks and alcoholic beverage from 6PM to 11 PM at the lounge. Heck, I can even have wine in the club lounge at 9 AM.
And the staffs here are super friendly, I really like their hospitality and welcoming nature. Always greeted me with a smile
And the front desk staffs are super handsome too :)

The line to register took over 20 minutes. Once to the front desk, the staff was very kind and professional. We got in late and had to use the bar to grab some food. The waiter was rude, rushed and at sign out was unwilling to adjust my food cost based on my SPG status. The adjustment was done the next day by the front desk without difficulty. The Wifi basically was none functional.

The location between the airport and the long distance train station as well on top of the regional train station is unbeatable.
Would you please install power plugs next to each bed close to the bedside light switches? In my room, there were two plugs at the desk, one at the entrance, and another one in the bathroom, but why none that I could find at bed sides to be able to charge my phone and use it while in bed?
The signs to the ice machine on my floor were confusing, They were pointing to an area with several guest room doors and one door with only sign "warning". After staring one sign pointing to the ice to the left and another one pointing to the right, I finally realized that the "warning" signed room was the ice machine room.
One day, when I returned to my room, the room maintenance left a dripping wet wash towel, which I left on the shower handle, on my luggage. Good thing the luggage was water proof and prevented water from getting in.

Reception was welcoming and efficient but no mention of SPG status. Room was clean,comfortable and amazingly quiet as it looked out on freeway and airport runways. Only issue was some mold in bathroom - pink mold in shower and black mold in floor tile grout lines.
Excellent meal & service at Flavors restaurant.
Hotel very convenient for international transfers.

When checking out there were only 2 staff members on duty at the check out desk. This was toatlly inadequate and meant at least a 15 minute . I chose to stay in your hotel as I did not wish to spend travel time in the morning. The extra cost of staying so close to terminal was lost due to the waste of time. I suggest that you increase staff in morning and consider a check out only que. When I raised this issue with desk staff teh response was that I should tell their manager. Not good enough.

was expecting better room comfort. no slippers available. the toilet bowl could do with cleaning especially under the bowl rim; the shower when used resulted in the bathroom floor getting wet as there was no shower curtain.

The location to the Frankfurt airport was fantastic and made it easy to return a rental car and then proceed to the hotel without much outside walking. The staff in the lobby was very helpful and most courteous.

The breakfast buffet is too expensive, but then again you have a "captive" audience! The young Chef cooking "eggs to order' the morning of my departure appeared to be pitifully inexperienced. Having experience cooking on a griddle much larger than his, for up to 25 persons at a time, the Chef was using the wrong "tool"/spatual. The spatual he was using I use to clean the griddle after cooking a breakfast consisting of approx 6 lbs of bacon, 20-30 scrambled eggs with onions, cheese and peppers and 20-30 sets eggs to order (over easy and sunny side up). I laughed at the little spray bottle of oil he used to "spray" the cooking surface of the griddle. It appeared the griddle was too hot and defintely not "oiled" well enough for cooking eggs. This resulted in eggs sticking to the griddle, which resulted in the eggs whites being brown on both sides, broken yokes and obviously not to order! The spatual used was NOT the correct kitchen tool for the job at hand! The Chef demonstrated his inexperience by not being able to cook more than 1 egg order at a time. I hold the Master Chef totally responsible for his young Chef's short comings! Pathetic at best for such a "high dollar" hotel!!!

I've stayed many times in this hotel, it's excellent under every aspect except for the TV / Movies system, it simply doesn't work, at almost every stay I had to call in the technician to fix it, and still it didn't work properly.
When will the management fix it nce and for all ?

Our room was cold and humid. Even after the very polite help of staff members, the night remained a real nightmare. We were happy that we only had to stay for one night. Our experience really wasn't 4* decent !!

There was a serious problem with the bath tub water temperature, so i started with a horrible shower experience. With only 1 night stay this time and due to a super tight schedule, i couldn't find time to request room change but i did reported before i left to the guest service over the phone. What ruined my stay was actually how the FO handled my comment about it, not only did she skip asking my how my stay was (pretty generic one, right?), there was no acknowledgement (not to mention apologies) in regards to the bathroom problem i reported until i reminded her DO NOT CHECK IN ANOTHER GUEST TO THIS ROOM UNTIL YOU FIX THE PROBLEM.
The lobby was not busy at all, so may this FO staff was !?
For the many times of stay in Sheraton, this was unfortunately and rarely a very UNPLESANT GUEST SERVICE EXPERIENCE SO FAR .

The Sheraton FRA Airport is an ok hotel for a one-night layover or day room - for a longer stay I would not chose this hotel. The rooms are outdated, dark, water pressure in bathroom was low, the door was chipped and old, the wake-up call system is not working (you get at least 2 calls if not more).

I asked for a higher floor room, but somehow got assigned to third floor. On the first night before 7am meeting, I was woken up abruptly at 2:30 AM by loud scraping noises (chairs being dragged around on hard floors, cleaning crew??). After 15 min of lying awake to this, I got up and called the front desk who thought it might be the bar area located above and promised to look into it. Scraping noise continued but maybe less continuously.

The Airport Sheraton is unbeatable after a long flight (from Los Angeles in our case) and in preparation for departure. The short walk to and from the airport is a real plus. We've stayed here at the beginning and at the end of our European trips for 10 or more years and hope to do it in the future. The "Supermarket" in the airport is very handy as is access to the S-Bahn into Frankfurt and the Deutsche Bank ATM, all available from the elevator in the bridge to the airport.

We were rerouted thru Frankfurt due to a cancelled flight in Rome and chose something close to the airport. Proximity was amazingly convenient, including the ease of access to the train, so we were able to quickly head into the city and sightsee a bit before our flight the following day. The family room was a fantastic choice, along with club level access. All of the staff in the club level lounge were incredibly courteous and helpful. The food was fresh and offered a wide variety of options to choose from. My husband wished there were more beer options in the evening and also hoped for pretzels at the breakfast (there were none when we arrived). Our daughter wished the robes could be a parting gift :) The business center was huge - if I ever had to come to Frankfurt for work, it would be a great spot for a meeting. The club level gym was a bit disappointing...now I wish I had gone to the main gym to exercise, as I believe it is much larger. We were a bit shocked by the high prices at the restaurant so we had to go eat lunch at the airport before our flight. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend this hotel.
