Rated 5 out of 5 by Mountainside paradise The Sheraton Agoura Hills was an excellent choice. I have been to the area before on business and the location of this hotel is perfect for business and nearby restaurants. Everyone in my group loved it. Balcony room facing the very green mountainside was a real plus. Restaurant staff was great! December 10, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Decent Sheraton, even when Sold Out Attended a wedding, and according to the Hotel there was a total of 9 going on that weekend. Considering most rooms were fully sold out, Stay was decent. Lounge (Breakfast) was hectic, but considering the number of people, very well run. Rooms have older HVAC units and the bed is slightly high. June 10, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs Improvement and Updating We stayed in the "Presidential Suite" and found it the same size as the original suite we booked. The rooms need updating especially in the bathrooms. The curtains in the living room area were torn and not what I would expect of a suite on the club floor. The staff is very helpful and polite. Rated 3 out of 5 by room was not the same as booked I understand the hotel was full but I booked a king size room and i was give a queen disabled room. the experience was awful. I asked for a discount and they told me they usually charge more for that room.. Does that mean they charge disabled people more? not real happy with the experience. September 27, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel has very thin walls Overall, the hotel isn't bad but the room walls are too thin. I had trouble sleeping not only because I heard my neighbors next door talking or turning on their TV really but I could heard people outside in the hallways as well as room doors being shut. Rated 5 out of 5 by What a pleasant weekend My wife and I had to travel north from San Diego for one of our son's many summer baseball camps. The Sheraton in Agoura Hills was wonderful experience providing fabulous service and great accomodations. The location was very convenient to our Malibu Pepperdine destination. Well worth it! Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel GREAT! Food NOT Great. I only stayed one night and ordered room service. The choices were fine, but the food did not meet expectations. It was presented nicely, but the lack of flavor was unforgivable. I was very hungry, so I ate as much as I could stand. The accommodations were clean, quiet, and comfortable. June 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sheraton Agoura Nice hotel overall with free parking, which I appreciate. Beds are way too high and the rooms are too small. I think Golds should be upgraded for free to the Club level, sad that we have to pay like everyone else to go to a small club lounge. I do like the pool, in the summer. Thanks. January 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bar/Restaurant My stay was perfect, but the bar reception area needs to be more comfy. Very open not intimate at all.Seemed cold. Buy some plants or booths. Rated 3 out of 5 by Dirty Rooms This was a suite and the carpet was dirty, the ceiling has tape holding it together, the couch is old and dirty. For the price and the caliber of the hotel I was greatly disappointed. The front desk just stated well it going to be remodeled soon. That does me no good!! November 25, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice . . . . . . but stayed during construction. The room was on par with a Starwood Property. However, negotiating through construction with luggage was not enjoyable. I will revisit property during my next trip to the area. Bring your food as convenient options are limited. December 25, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great outdoor lounging This hotel is beautifully situated in the hills of southern Cali. Desk agent told us we had a great view of the hills. When we walked into the room and headed to the large patio window all we saw was the parking lot and a dry brown hill. Wish we had a front view. September 3, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel is okay could be better Nice room, spacious with a good view. The club lounge needs a lot of work. Not really "hosted" no wine offered. Always ran out of hot food. You could tell all the people who came after work were annoyed because they ran out of hot food. Very diappointing September 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff Staff is always very helpful; Glenn is especially great. Breakfast could use some improvement (pretty repetitive breakfast buffet). Definitely take a trip to Malibu or the Malibu Creek State Park if you have time. April 23, 2014

The rooms are not really that excellent but out stands any Hotel on its class. We were just looking for a lounge where we could relax with good entertainment especially music. August 12, 2013

I was staying as part of a wedding block, and they were so kind and gracious in dealing with every request, from allowing for early check-ins to letting us sneak into the honeymoon suite and answering all questions we had about our stay. Rated 3 out of 5 by Good But Could Be Better This hotel was quite full for most of our six night stay. Despite the high occupancy it was one of the quietest hotels that I have ever stayed in. The room was quite comfortable, there was ample parking and the restaurant food and service were quite good for the one breakfast and one dinner we ate there. Unfortunately, there seemed to have been a lack of coordination and a number of small things that detracted from the stay. One of my bags did not arrive at LAX. When we got to the hotel at 9PM we enquired whether the bag was delivered and were told "no." This necessitated purchasing replacement toiletries and over the counter meds. The next day when we contacted the airline, we learned that my bag had in fact been delivered at 7PM the previous night before we had arrived at the hotel. Additionally, the room was set up for 2 people (towels) despite our registration which indicated 3 people would be in the room (my wife and I, and our adult daughter). This was again a problem on the final 2 days of our stay. The coffee maker had no easily accessible plug behind the dresser. When plugged into the bathroom outlet it cut off three times before the brewing cycle was completed. Our room key failed to give us access to the Club Lounge the first two days. When that problem was solved the key would not give us access to our room. Small things which detracted from the stay and what was an otherwise helpful staff. In closing I should note that the hotel had an attractive and active bar, a sizeable pool and outdoor lounge area, as well as an outdoor, enclosed firepit lounge area. Our schedule did not allow us time to utilize these areas however they did add value to those staying at the hotel. July 16, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice, clean, modern hotel Hotel was very clean and seemed relatively new. The beds were very comfortable. Since our room was close to the stairwell, it was a bit noisy when people used the stairs, especially at midnight. The lobby was modern and inviting. February 25, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Good 2 night stay good hotel, right off 101 freeway with easy access. Outdoor pool area was very relaxing. Had nice large pool which is a change from most hotels these days. fitness facilities were adequate. Would stay again if in the area February 1, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed return customer My husband and I stay at this hotel every time we are in town visiting family, which is 5 or so times a year. We have always had a great experience, but I now think the quality of the hotel has declined. This visit the hotel was "oversold" so the room options were limited. I requested a first floor room with a sliding glass door so we could bring our puppy. The front desk staff accommodated. When we arrived the room REEKED of cigarette smoke. How the cleaning crew did not alert the hotel to not re-book that room until they were able to clean it out, I have no idea. The smell was so strong, it was difficult to breathe. I couldn't re-locate my room because there were no other available rooms on the first floor with sliders. We immediately called the front desk and it took over an hour (and two calls to the front desk) to get someone from house cleaning to come down with air freshener, which only helped the odor temporarily. I explained that I am six months pregnant and probably shouldn't be staying in a room that reeks of cigarette smoke but no one seemed concerned to help switch my room. Two of the three body towels in the bathroom were in disgusting condition. One had very obvious stains that looked like blood (they were large dark brown stains), and the other towel was ripped and torn. The housekeeping staff obviously had no problem putting these back in hotel rooms for new guests, which is disgusting. They also didn't even have complimentary coffee in the room!! What hotel doesn't include that anymore?! We've always had coffee in our room at the hotel and all of the sudden there was no coffee. It seems that the quality of the housekeeping has dropped drastically. I am very disappointed overall and am questioning if we'll bring our business back here again. July 15, 2014
