Rated 2 out of 5 by Vkvkvk Poor service from front desk staff & manager
Very dis-engaged manager. From time of check-in through the stay he never made the effort to engage with guests or be helpful. On top of that he mixed up shuttle request and instead of trying to help solve the problem saw me wait for 30 minutes with not even acknowledging that there was a problem!

I simply cannot express how great of a stay this was for my family and I. The staff was second to none, especially in responding to the requests my wife made during our stay. They were extremely kind, accommodating, well-mannered and helpful. In addition, the hotel was clean, the pool was clear and our room was very comfortable.
I HIGHLY recommend this hotel for anyone on their next visit to the Los Angeles area!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrZero Very nice hotel with exceptional staff
Really enjoyed our stay here. Lounge was really nice, room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff as a whole were really super and Vicky at the front desk was amazing. She made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived, Kudos to Vicky!

Rated 4 out of 5 by MVS54 Great Stay but I left very Annoyed!!
I stayed here related to a medical procedure that required appointments two days in a row, fairly far from my home. They allow dogs which was a delight. I found everything about the hotel to be above average, which was a very nice surprise overall as it is an 'out-of-the-way' city/location.
Sadly, as I was walking my dog the morning of my departure, to avoid the scorching heat soon to be coming [as this hotel is located in southern California where it is HOT in summer] - I saw something that made me truly angry and annoyed me a lot. A gardener/landscaper/bellman, unsure his job description, was hosing down the entire entrance to the hotel lobby with a full-force hose. WE are in a DROUGHT and things like washing cars and watering lawns are restricted all over the LA area. I was horrified to see this, and in fact walked over rivers of water across the parking lot.
Whatever happend to good, old-fashioned Push Brooms?? I had the thought that maybe, somehow it was reclaimed water....even if so - put it on the drought-tolerant vegetation, but don't waste gallons and gallons of it doing this!!
I ended up thinking poorly of Sheraton, despite a nice stay!

Rated 5 out of 5 by mikimousewin Excellent Sheraton
One of the better Sheratons.
I frequently stay here for business since my client is in Agoura Hills. Strong Platinum Recognition. One of the stays, I even got upgraded to the Master Suite!
Bar by the lobby. Gets quite crowded and lively in the evenings.
Would recommend this to anyone stopping by this area.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Victoria0509 Surprised at the amenities
I stayed the weekend with family and extended family members for 2 nights. I was quite surprised at the cleanliness of the rooms and of the common areas. Additionally, we spent some time at the Hotel bar - and found the food to be quite good and the drinks reasonably priced. A few minor things, is that our room was near the pool and we could hear much of the outdoor festivities in our room. Nothing too unbearable, considering that it during the day and not in the evening.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Narsi Decent hotel
We stayed there for one night. We requested a late checkin that was facilitated. The bed was very comfortable and I had very comfortable sleep despite unusually LOUD air conditioner. I called in advance to request for an extra bed which was promised will be ready at checkin but wasn't. I had to call a couple of times after checkin to get that put in.
In terms of room condition, the room had a pop-corn ceiling, bathroom was a little dated. The AC was leaking water by the time we woke up.
In terms of value for money, no complimentary breakfast or parking but the price was on higher end amongst hotels in Aguora hills. Interesting part was the Google shows both Parking and Breakfast to be free for this hotel, but these folks don't honor that.
Checkout was smooth and fast. Overall an average experience at the hotel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by AbusedGuest1 Worst Night's Hotel Stay During our Vacation in CA
Called Sheraton reservation number to book hotel room. Upon check-in at hotel was blind-sided by a $14 per night self parking fee in an unsecured lot NEVER mentioned by Sheraton reservations. There was no shortage of open parking ... they just decided to charge CHICAGO downtown prices to park in their lot. If I had known this prior to booking, I would have gone elsewhere. Got to room (#245) and found the refrigerator non-operational. Reported this to front desk. Room had windows that looked out onto an adjoining roof between building wings featuring HVAC ducts, a ladder, & other tools used to clean the screen covering the HVAC intakes. Piles of HVAC clog material lay just outside the window. Quite a stunning view for a non-CA guest visiting the city/hotel for the first (and last) time. Then came the "last straw". As we retired for the night, the through-the-wall HVAC unit kicked-in to heat the room and we found ourselves listening to the idle of our own personal DIESEL TRUCK just two feet from the bed. How relaxing! IT WAS HORRIBLE! I couldn't sleep at all as each time the heater kicked in, I would wake up to the oscillating drone it produced. This hotel was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT especially considering it's not an inexpensive one. I reported my dissatisfaction to the clerk upon checkout with no result other than what must have been a rehearsed response "I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay" ... In fact, it was such a bad experience that I will never stay at another Sheraton property.
