I booked the Delaware package" on the CLUB floor on line--this offer was to include evening hor d'oeurves and breakfast. Upon check-in I was told that this was a new hotel and everything was NOT up and running yet. I was given a coupon for one free drink OR one appetizer from the bar and a coupon for free breakfast . Also, the outside entrance to the hotel had some paving issues--it was uneven and difficult to walk on.

I just wanted to provide some feedback that your staff in all areas showed great approachability and warmth and a true willingness to help. This was most apparent at the front desk, whether at check in or at 4:00 in the morning when i had to check out. My only constructive feedback is around the room temperature. The outer living room said 74 degrees and was warm whereas the bedroom was freezing cold. The thermometer does not adequately control the entire room. Last the restaurant for breakfast was slow and understaffed. They were very nice but they need help!

The hotel has a good location along I-95 for those flying into PHL to do business in northern Delaware. The interior is spacious, attractive, and relaxing. The hotel restaurant is good and stays open late. The hotel staff is quite friendly and responsive.

The personell at the hotel itself were very nice and helpful for the most part. When I made my reservations I explained I wanted to use a credit card that was in my husbands name, however he would not be present. I was assured that there would be no problem as long as I actually had the card. To my embarrassment the hotel would not take the card. Thankfully there was a family member there to help with paying for my room. I traveled 4 hours and it was my granddaughters wedding and the people at the counter were not interested in checking with reservations about what they told me.

I have been traveling for business for over 15 years. Sheraton Wilmington South is the best hotel I've ever stayed at because of the staff. They are caring, genuine, and sincere. I stayed for over two weeks and it felt like my second home. They are more than accommodating. The food from the restaurant was always delicious. The rooms were very clean and the entire hotel was newly renovated and beautiful. The workout room is huge with awesome equipment. The location is off the highway but I heard no highway noise. I was a short drive (less than 5 mins) from good restaurants, shopping and everything I needed. Very relaxing and I was working! Other hotels can wish they were this nice. I highly recommend staying here.

I've stayed at this property on several business trips and although I've never been overly impressed I was content to continue returning on my regular trips until this last visit.
My first assigned room was adjoined to another guest I did not know, there were visible gaps and considerable noise. The room I was moved to had dirty laundry from a previous guest in the safe and mildew stains in the shower, I didn't dare use the jacuzzi i'd payed to have. The following morning staff opened the door before 8am to service the room without knocking, luckily the deadbolt was on.

My wife and I decided on this hotel for a weekend getaway and we could not have selected a better destination. The hotel is conveniently located from 95, ample parking, rooms were immaculate, amenities exceeded our expectations, and the staff was EXCELLENT!!! I must elaborate on the staff and their professionalism. Everyone we encountered was warm, knowledgeable, and always prepared to offer service. We appreciate Sheraton's leadership team with their commitment to recruiting, training, maintaining, and placing the right people in the right roles.
We will be back!!

Loved our stay. Husband commented that the king suite was bigger than our first apartment!
Everything was so clean and bright and all the amenities /toiletries were fun. Bed was indeed Starwood Heavenly .The restaurant staff was more than accomodating with our late lunch and my diet coke 'addiction". Very friendly and efficient service all around.A surprise to have so many free movie choices for late night "lazies" who were resting from over-touring. Easy access to all things Wilmington makes this hotel a great place to use as a base for playing tourist in the area.

This is one of the best Sheraton Hotels I have stayed. The front desk staff was friendly when checking me in ... he even asked "Is it OK if I upgrade you to a suite?" This may be a first. Most just say "I upgraded you to a suite". The maids were friendly in the hall and asked how my day was going. The bar tender had some great recommendations for food. All in all a great place to stay .... only negative was pool was closed but I knew this prior to arrival.

I've been staying at this hotel once a month for a year now and I have to say that the restaurant is horrid. $15 for your average breakfast. What did I get? The "hash browns" were frozen from a bag and heated up, the "ham steak" was two pieces of ham lunchmeat burned in a skillet and the orange juice was practically in a shot glass. I could get a much better meal at Denny's for a much cheaper price. I have ate at this restaurant several times and it's poor every single time. It's a shame that a higher end hotel such as this sports such poor dining.

Lovely, relaxing décor with a modern flair. Ample seating in lounge, restaurant, lobby and courtyard. Jr. Suite was spacious with calming décor and comfortable features. Staff was beyond our expectations from check-in to check-out. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Dining was excellent with fantastic service. Our server, during dinner, was Candy. She was fantastic! Welcoming, attentive and so funny. Made our dining experience very enjoyable! Loved her!!! Can't possibly say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! We will definitely come back!

I left a fed ex package to be mailed by the front desk. Their attitude towards the package was very lackadasical...do you want us to call fed ex? My thought was, of course I do...why else would I ask you to handle the package. This was at 6 am on Monday. By Wednesday, I had started panicking because my urgent fed ex package had not been delivered. I checked and discovered that the desk did not have it picked up until Wednesday. That defeated the whole purpose of sending an urgent fed ex package. This was not acceptable on any level!

With the exception of the pool being down for remodeling my solo weekend experience was better than I could have planned for.. The hotel itself was exceptional, and the service was top notch. Usually the house-keeping is the weak point of a hotel but not so here. Given the opportunity I would stay here on a regular basis.

We had our daughters 13th birthday on Sat June 8th. I booked the Presidential Suite and it was FABULOUS!! The suite was awesome, exceeded my expectations, the guest were very impressed! We took advantage of the pool and the kids had a great time. When I called guest services they took care of my request right away. I will definitely stay here again and have already recommended your hotel to others! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE HOSPITALITY AND GREAT SERVICE!! Kudos to Maggie who answered and customer service was great!!:-)

The front desk, hotel, concierge, restaurant and bar, and club lounge are a first class act. I stayed here for approximately 11 months and could not be happier. I am sorry my time in Delaware has come to an end. I will certainly miss my "Sheraton Family". Thanks for everything!

Rated 4 out of 5 Great Hotel, but needs a bit of managment
We have a very good stay at this hotel. The facility was very nice and as was the room. The areas for improvement include housekeeping and maintenance. Our tub drained very slowly. By the end of a short shower, the tub was half full. I relayed this info to the front desk folks, and I was told that maintenance would look at it, but clearly nothing happened. Also housekeeping was not up to what I have come to expect from Sheraton. There was a towel on the floor in the hall for two days. Our room did not get service the first day of our stay.
IN addition, we were there for a wedding and after the reception, we were expecting to return to the hotel bar for refreshments. Upon our return to the hotel, the bar was closed. Only insistence by the bride got the bar opened.
these few items detracted from an otherwise great visit.

Driving up to the hotel, I said to myself, "Oh no! This is my hotel for tonight?!" After traveling across the country, I was so hungry when I arrived. I wanted to find a restaurant close by that I can have a decent, non-airplane like, food. So when the cab drove up to the hotel, I thought I am going to starve and not sleep well that night.
Unfortunately, the outside of the hotel was very daunting - dark and desolate. However, when you walked in, it was an oasis. I have been a platinum member for years and am very accustomed to a cailiber of Starwood hotels... and this one did not disappoint. From the staff at check -in, the staff deliverying room service, the food, to the room itself; this is a hidden gem.
Congratulations on your team and the hotel atmosphere you created!

The greatest feature of this hotel is its friendly professional staff. The staff is a credit to the overall management of the hotel. The front desk and house keeping staff do an outstanding job as should be expected. The most pleasent surprise however has been the transportation staff and the Kitchen. The van drivers are always professional, punctual, and courtious. My biggest cudo goes to the Executive Chef and his staff. I have not been disappointed by anything that has come out of his/her kitchen.

My wedding was in September 2013 and we LOVED everything. The hotel staff was attentive and amazing. The food was plentiful and they did a great job with setting everything up. Erin was there every step of the way. Jeby by was always there to help too!
The ceremony was held in the outside space and it was really nice.. We finished up just in time because it started to rain afterwards.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for any event. We love to just stop by for happy hour and eat dinner as well.

My Room: spotless, white bed linens, clean, well stocked bathroom.... Comfortable beyond expectations... Off the interstate- completely quiet with a beautiful view outside our window! I highly recommend The Sheraton Wilmington South...outstanding!

I would recommend the hotel to everyone. I stayed there only one nights. I am from DC area and had the exam in DE early morning. I got a small room since I was staying by myself. When I got to the place, I realized that there was wedding reception going on, so it was so hard for me to study with the music was being so loud. I went downstairs to ask if they could change my room to another side of the building. And YES, they did! Mike(the front desk) and Maggie (manager) were so very helpful! They actually upgraded me to a higher class room with no change in price. I got a beautiful and quiet place! I just loved it!!! They asked me several times if I was happy with the change. They were amazing and very kind! I will definetly stay there again!!!!

The stay was awesome and the location was close to many attractions and restaurants. The hotel is right off the highway and not far from the airport.
The staff was so accommodating,helpful and very friendly. From check in to check out we were treated with professionalism. The room was spacious.well kept and clean. The bed was very plush and comfy. The food was great as we'll. I must say that the service was exceptional and the staff was very knowledgeable and informative.
The only thing that I would improve is longer room service and longer pool/ hot tub hours. (Adult only). The hot tub close at 10 and we returned from an event at 10:15 trying to get back in time for use. Staying open until 11:00 is more appropriate for this great hotel.
We enjoyed our stay and will go back.

Although photos on the website depicting the hotel (rooms/suites, etc.) are very nice, there is no justice unless you’re actually there. The service was cordial, the ballroom lovely with superior light fixtures and our guest suite, next to impeccable. Getting to the hotel from I-95 was a breeze; however, the one flaw is not with the hotel directly but with the route to get back to the main highway. If we weren’t familiar to the area, a stranger may have been a bit annoyed and perplexed.

Even though I'm relatively close, I decided to get a room for a LAX tournament due to the game times. I found this hotel by accident and I was more than pleasantly surprised...I didn't even want to leave to go to the games! The outside doesn't do the inside justice. The lobby, the room and the staff were all wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for any reason.

We were there for a wedding "Smith/Dawes" we had to sign up for the shuttler because it was not big they had 2 one at 5 the other at 5:40 we were down for the 540.we went out at 520 as not to miss it .let me tell you at least18 people came flying out of lobby and entered the bus pushing us out of the way the bus only held 13 there were people sitting on floor we had to drive instead of getting the names that were on list so 4 of us were mad told desk the next morning

I would say the front desk staffs are what make this hotel a great place to stay. They are very focused on customer service and if stay there frequently they always try to adress you by your name. Little things like that makes a world of difference.
