we took a 3 week road trip and almost every night was a different hotel. they were all highly recognizable brand names and for the most part they were clean comfortable and what I expected knowing the name brand. We didn't stay at more Starwood hotels because they were either not in those locations or just too pricey. we had a budget. But on 2 occasions when we did stay at a Starwood hotel they were a cut above the rest. We didn't want to leave. Super clean, comfortable, quiet, everything I expected in a hotel of this caliber and more.

I have never experienced such a horrific stay at a hotel in my life and I have traveled quite a bit. My family and I arrived to the hotel and checked into our room and found it noticeably dirty- hair on the bathroom floor, crumbs all over the carpet, and the bed-skirt was stained and had dried food/blood/bodily fluids on it. We notified the front desk upon leaving for the evening for dinner and they assured us it would taken care of upon our return. We came back a few hours later and the room looked better- until we reached the bedroom. There was a condom wrapper folded up tightly on the floor and if that wasn't bad enough, there was an opened box of condoms on the dresser. Needless to say, we were not sleeping in that room anymore and it was already 11pm. We took the condoms down to the front desk and the supervisor assured us he would move us to a better room. We moved to the next room which was even dirtier- stains everywhere, food crumbs in the bathroom and by the toilet, and white stains of either food or bodily fluids all over the wall. Disgusting. We were too tired to move again after being out all day and it was reaching midnight. My family and I have NEVER experienced such a horrific hotel stay- the cleanliness of the hotel was simply unacceptable. I will be notifying others that if they are visiting this area to NEVER stay in this hotel.

Since I'm receiving this e -mail I am assuming you were not notified of our experience at your hotel. My initial disappointment was the uncleanliness of our room. After advising your staff who assured all would be taken care of I was hopeful for a pleasant experience. However upon our return I was even more shocked. Yes the room was a bit cleaner but a box of condoms and an open condom wrapper were left in our room. Once again we went to the front desk and were then given a room change. Unfortunately this room was even dirtier, especially the bedroom area, headboard ,and comforter. However at this late hour we were too tired to move again. I explained the situation at checkout the next morning and did receive another apology. I hope the cleanliness of your hotel improves. I had stayed there Oct 2015 and had a good experience. But won't be coming again

My family and i stayed for one night on your way back from Florida the room was spacious for the 4 of us but it was filthy. the carpets looked like there were blood stains and vomit in places. Pieces of the bath tub were coming off right into your hands. when we were trying to get into the room it took 3 or 4 times because the door was jammed and when you looked at the actual door jam it looked like someone tried to break in. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are really desperate. the room is overpriced and so is the food.

FIRST AND FORMOST I WAS TOLD A DIFFERANT PRICE ON PHONE AND WAS TOLD PAY MORE MONEY I DID NOT HAVE. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL, MAKE YOU FEEL UNCOMFORABLE, WATCH YOUR EVERY MOVE, AND I WAS SCARED TO ASK FOR TOWELS OR SUGAR, REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE AND NO BRAEKFAST IN INCLUDED.

The hotel was sqeaky clean and polished as was our room The staff was well attired and obviously well trained. The room was attractive and spacious. The food was the best I have ever had at any other chain. Hope there is a Sheraton at my next trip location

hotel was fine. Could have used more insulations in walls. We could hear people in rooms around us. And beware that the Complimentary bottle of water costs $4.00. Apparently only the 23 small bottles are complimentary and the larger bottle is not. When I got the final bill there is a charge of $4.00 for bottled water.

We were at the hotel for a wedding and had confirmed our room on the 6th floor with the other wedding guests earlier in the week (as had the groom's father and another guest with whom we were planning to stay in nearby rooms to share child care). Yet, upon arrival we were placed in a 2nd floor room, directly above the ballroom and no where near the other wedding guests. When we spoke to the staff about the fact that we needed to be elsewhere because we'd made childcare arrangements and had confirmed our room just days before, we were told "sorry, the hotel is full." The front desk didn't care at all that they'd given our room to someone else, that we were now without childcare options, or that they'd placed us directly over the ballroom with its music blasting into our room all night while we and our 8-month-old daughter attempted to sleep. The room itself was fine/clean except that the bathroom door didn't shut.
Clearly the hotel gave us a random, sub-par room and location with no regard for our SPG Gold membership, association with the wedding or pre-arranged discussion. We are loyal SPG members and this was our first (and hopefully last) negative experience staying at a Starwood hotel.
