Rated 5 out of 5 by Great place to spend a Thanksgiving Get Away It was a memorable Thanksgiving/Anniversary stay at the Sheraton Crown Center. Staff was pleasant and very accommodating. One offering the hotel could have provided was a Thanksgiving dinner. The hotel restaurant was open but we opted for a Thanksgiving buffet offered nearby. Some guests may also prefer a year round indoor pool. The Crown Center was a good start to the Christmas season with staying clear of the Good Friday crowds at major malls. November 30, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Stay I recently stayed at this hotel for a week on a business trip. I was VERY impressed with the facility. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, even the beds were perfect for a good nights sleep! The staff were very nice and helpful, they always greeted you with a smile. I will definitely stay here again when traveling to Kansas City. November 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hospitality Suite - Exceptional The Hospitality Suite had an amazing view and was a perfect place to gather with friends and family on a day of celebrations. The room was a little bit dusty, but overall clean, well-equipped and pleasant. All of the staff we interacted with were cheerfully helpful. We have never been to a facility that went way above and beyond our expectations for conveniences/comfort, etc. as the Sheraton Hotel in Kansas City. Everyone was SO NICE. Anything they could do to help you, THEY DID. The facility itself was great. We certainly would recommend it to others. God Bless! November 2, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not the best experience Some how our room was tagged as going green. basically what we got was absolutely nothing. No Housekeeping at all. In fact they never even entered our room. That means that the trash does not get emptied, the in room coffee does not get replenished. NOTHING.. after the 3 day of being completely ignored we asked the front desk exactly why. That's when we learned that our room had been tagged as green. I am all for going green but that usually does not mean that you are completely ignored by the hotel staff. Anyway we got that taken care of and our room was serviced by housekeeping. Well, we then found dried blood on the comforter. Really?? I was totally frustrated with this stay. We have stayed at this hotel several times before it was purchased by the Sharaton and always enjoyed our stay. Now that the Sheraton has taken over, things have gone down hill. I really don't understand why, as I have stayed in several Sheraton properties with great success. This property definitely has room for improvement. I will seriously think twice before I stay at this location in the future. November 1, 2013

The staff (registration, waiters, Room service, valet, bellman, etc) were very pleasant and helpful. Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel is nice but needs a good cleaning I was satisfied overall with this hotel but it needs to do a better job with room cleaning. The bathroom was the worst, with a visibly dirty toilet, floor and tub upon arrival. The carpet was also dirty and there were cobwebs on the ceiling. The lobby area has multiple ozone generators that smelled very bad - you could smell it as soon as you entered the hotel! The staff was very responsive and friendly but I will not stay here again until cleaning is improved. For a hotel of this caliber I was very disappointed. October 25, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Reservation mishap For the past two years I have made multiple room reservations to the MATSS meeting and in both cases the reservations were messed up. After last years mishap I made sure to have my paper work ready this year and sure enough it was a good thing I had it. Our reservation was maybe a little unusual as it was for six rooms with four arriving Sunday and 2 on Monday. But I received emails stating everything was good to go but at check in they were only holding three rooms for us. The good thing is we worked it out and they gave us another room after I produced the printed emails. October 18, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Room I was dissatisfied with the my experience. When we checked in we only had two nights listed and I had booked three. When we got to our room the trash had not been emptied in the bathroom. The refridgerator in the room was not working as it has at least and inch and a half of ice on the back panel. I also was not told that I would not have maid service unless I asked for it. I was not happy with the room. The hotel was acceptable. October 16, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Final Bill I requested my final invoice be slipped under my door on the day of my departure. I was told that I could come to the desk for this since the hotel was a green hotel (as in environmentally sensitive). I explained that the same amount of paper would be used whether I had to wait at front desk for it or whether it was slipped under my door. I asked again for the invoice to me slipped under my door. But the morning of checkout, it was not slipped under my door. A very distinct disadvantage from my perspective, and disingenuously described as a "green" initiative. October 12, 2013

My entire experience was having the comforts of home. The room was fantastic, food was excellent and I would recommend it as a great spot to stay in. October 11, 2013
