As far as the rooms and service...awesome. As far as the food options and how things are prepared...needs HUGE improvement. Spectators and room service are so limited in general and even more limited in healthy options. PLEASE get a new chef to revamp and improve the options. Also, the breakfast buffet...I provided feedback on Monday and thankfully saw it by Wednesday. The feedback was to properly hull the strawberries (i.e. I don't want to see leaves) and core the pineapple before cutting as the fibrous core of a pineapple is very difficult to eat, much less fun to digest. Please note, the wait staff is fine...it is the options from the kitchen that need updating big time.

The Sheraton Kansas City, MO has some gems in the staff but the facility needs to be mechanically updated, plumbing and heating/ cooling. Also cleaning staff should pay attention to detail like emptying room wastebaskets, replacing cups, ensuring rooms have functional equipment and city info that is current. I had a travel guide in my room from 2012 and I stayed in 2013. Also keep the public areas clean ( I.e. carpeting).

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lele419 Room cleanliness an issue
Our room was not serviced at all during our two night stay. The beds had flat instead of fitted sheets that bunched up and came off while we were sleeping. We saw two random hairs, one of which ended up on my baby's toy that dropped on the floor and one on the nightstand. They appeared to be hairs that you would not want to see in your room, let alone on your baby's stuff. I would not stay here again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dan59 Great place to stay
The beds (which should be core of any hotel) were great. Comfortable and clean. The room was laid out well for working and relaxing. Great location in KC - close to most everything.

The Sheraton was spacious, clean, comfortable, and in close proximity to restaurants, entertainment, the convention center and shopping. I loved it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by EagleNE Good stay
The hotel looks amazing with all of the renovations completed. We had previously stayed last summer during construction phase so it was very nice during our stay this time. Quick check in, great rooms, and service. Loved that we walked right out our door for the Hospital Hill 1/2 marathon and could jump right back to our room for a shower after! Thanks for a great stay!

Rated 4 out of 5 by jchiguy1 Great Service, Good Location, Bland Rooms
Crown Center location is central to downtown KC as well as the Plaza. Covered walkways (the Link) connect to shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel is large but staff did a good job of making me feel warm and welcome during my stay. Valet parking is expensive for Kansas City ($21) but was fast and efficient. My Executive Deluxe Suite was spacious, clean and comfortable but a bit bland. Some personal touches (vintage photos of KC etc) would do a lot to enhance the environment. Fitness center was well maintained and nicely equipped. People should be aware, however, that there is no dinner restaurant in the hotel and that it's a bit of hike to find one. I was happy with my stay overall and highly recommend the hotel.
