Rated 2 out of 5 by Ensure room is clean We arrived to find our room below expectations. Missing items such as slippers and diet coke cans left in bins. Bed sheets smell of a terrible odour smell. Looked like it wasn't changed. January 7, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Restaurant Food standard The Terraces Restaurant price is high but seafood standard is not. Oysters are very small and spanner crabs are difficult to eat. Blue Swimmer crabs should be available instead. December 20, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by A very nice hotel This is my first time staying at this hotel after hearing about the multi-million dollar renovations. I stayed in a resort room. The good things: 1. Smiles all around - from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff. 2. You can open the windows to get a breeze into the room and look at the gardens. 3. Very nice high tea at Pearls Bar. 4. The lobby is looking new and clean. 5. The bed is very comfortable. 6. Quiet surroundings. 7. Marina Mirage shopping centre is just opposite. 8. Free parking and plenty of spaces. The not so good/room for improvement: 1. I found a couple of hairs in the bathtub. 2. The bar staff had no idea about the 15% discount for SPG members, but a quick call to the manager resolved the matter. 3. There was quite a bit of dust in the air vents in the bathroom. 4. The carpark could use a bit of paint. It looks very run down in contrast to the rest of the resort. 5. Quite a bit of walking between the buildings, and to the gym, which is operated by a third party. 6. Delivery charge for room service and mini bar a bit on the expensive side, probably because of the lack of eating spots around there that open late. October 2, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best stay This was my third stay within the last six months and it was the best. We were allocated a resort room on the south side this time and the room seemed to be a little bigger and better than the rooms we stayed in previously on the north side. The ceiling above the bathroom basin didn't have the grill and fluorescent lighting and instead replaced with LED lights. The showerhead this time was also movable. A nice touch was the complimentary Easter chocolates and the gift in the minibar. The housekeeping was very good this time, but just a small note to housekeeping to check for toilet paper and hair on the floor from the previous guests as we found that they could detract from the excellent experience upon check in. One slight hiccup we experienced was at check-in. We arrived at 3pm, but was told the room was not yet available. Upon futher checking at my insistence, we were told the room status was not updated and was made available 5 mins later. Nonetheless, she was professional and friendly throughout. The same could be said for the other staff we encountered. Overall we had a very relaxing stay. Thank you for this wonderful Easter break. April 4, 2013
