This is a nice property. There staff is friendly, helpful and responsive. The lobby is clean and well designed. We had a great stay, but there is some wear and tear on some parts of the hotel. The hallways and doors needs some painting and updating. The ice machines are not all functioning properly. Again, nice property, great staff, just needs some TLC.

Rated 2 out of 5 by travelogger343434 This hotel needs renovation
Carpets are not clean, elevator buttons are missing, lobby is unattractive. overall needs a renovation.
Sleep quality could be improved by having drapes that close all the way to block out light and some outside noise.
Did not know about $50 extra charge for pet "deep cleaning". My room was not deep cleaned, for sure.
Thanks for asking.

AA dumped me in PIT due to the airport conditions in the D.C. area. A quick search of my overnight options revealed an "airport" Sheraton. 6 miles later, was this welcome property. A well-kept hotel with renovated rooms; it was just the tonic after being groped by the TSA all day. The lounge was nice, as was the room service, and a good night's sleep ensued.
What you wish every Sheraton was.

This was my first time staying at this hotel since it became a Sheraton and it won't be my last. It is now one of the nicest Sheratons I have stayed at.
We were greeted by Shannon at the front desk who was very friendly and polite. She was ready for our arrival and was able to answer all our questions. We had dinner in their restaurant. They have a good variety to select from. Our food came out hot and very tasty. The room was extremely clean, spacious and inviting. In fact the whole hotel was very clean and the staff that we encountered were all friendly and helpful. Love the deco and modern fixtures. Would highly recommend this hotel in the Pittsburgh Airport Area.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MrCole The hotel may be upgraded but the staff still needs work...
You should stay elsewhere: After a long day of travel we arrived at the hotel. Amber at the front desk greeted our dog and spoke to him for about 3 minutes before acknowledging us. I then stood there looking at her and said. "Checking in.." She seemed surprised. Nonetheless she began to check us in. I asked for club level access to which she replied that there was a $20 fee for gold members. I explained that I had recently stayed at Sheraton hotels where given how frequent a traveler I am I was upgraded as a courtesy. She insisted it was a policy that was currently being enforced. I politely asked to speak with someone else at which point another woman leaned over and said, "It is $20." No hello, my name is...etc. After explaining again that it is not an unreasonable request they finally relented though it was clear they were not happy about it. We got upstairs to our room to find stains in the carpet. Fortunately we're just here for one night but this is not the kind of recognition I expect as an SPG member nor the quality of the room I expect at a Sheraton. We certainly won't be back to this property.

While I was in my room, a member of the cleaning staff walked in to "bring towels" but passed up the bathroom until he saw me sitting on the bed. There was a water in our room that had been previously used and left behind. Also after leaving the air run it started to blow out air that smelt like dirty old socks.
