Rated 4 out of 5 by Juris Significant staff issues
I chose this hotel for its location and convenient parking whilst having my apartment in Zurich painted. It also happened to be my birthday which was completely missed by reception staff and management.
1. At check in i asked for a higher floor but told that I would have to pay for a room.
2. I was told that the SPG Benefits applied to me and not my spouse.
3. No apology by staff was offered
4. Spent 30 minutes with the general manager, complaining over the offering of the compliments for SPG Platinum guests, nothing was done, not even a sorry note, no compliments were delivered during the stay.
Reception attitude seems to be the worst point of the entire experience, however, rooms are spacious, modern and have incredible facilities for zurich. If you ignore the somber faces of reception, you will have a nice stay.
Club lounge offering is conservative

I have used this hotel on several occasions while transiting from a flight at ZRH to catching the SBB the following day for business throughout Switzerland. The rooms are in excellent shape and look as new as when the hotel opened. The front desk has always been extremely helpful and efficient from check-in to check-out. SPG recognition has always been great at the property, with upgrades for the majority of my stays. Only negative is for a tourist, with the "remote" location of the property in the business district versus being down by the river and the sites, which require either a quick light-rail or taxi ride.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Svenne102 modern Sheraton
This Sheraton is located at a bit outside downtown Zurich. Taxi takes about 10 to 20 minutes to the main train station or the lake. A tram station (Toni Arenal) is located just outside the hotel and it also takes about 15 to 20 min to get downtown by tram.
The hotel is very modern and the rooms are comfortable and functional. As a Platinum member I was upgraded to a club level room with a nice view. I enjoyed the window sill coach to relax at night before bed-time,
The lounge offers continental European breakfast in the morning.
The restaurant on the ground floor "Route Twenty Six" offers Swiss food. However, to enjoy real Swiss food i would recommend to try one of the restaurants downtown.
The staff is friendly and helpful.

Rated 2 out of 5 by eac49 hotel management is inadequate
After reserving four rooms and a conference room, upon arrival the hotel had no room for me and suggested I go to different hotel. After arguing, they gave me a small room, although tried to charge me for the junior suite I originally reserved. The manager refused to meet with me (disgraceful).

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kobb Great staff and good spg recognition
Young man checked me in on arrival and was exceptionally helpful in resolving my error in booking dates. Contacted spg for me and let me know when it was resolved. Very friendly and welcoming the whole time. Many thanks. Also platinum upgrade was awarded to a nice room. Room was very nice. Modern and clean.
Staff in bar was also exceptional and quick.
Only down side to hotel was it is beyond walking distance from the train station (new up and coming area so some restaurants and cafes close). Minor inconvenience. All in all great value though - I will be back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Vincos IF THIS IS SHERATON’S NEW DIRECTION I’M IN!
OVERALL IMPRESSION: I tend to agree with the CEO’s appraisal that Sheraton is a tired, lackluster brand - my least favorite child of the Starwood family but if this new property is any indication of the direction the brand will be taking in the future, I ‘ll jump on the bandwagon. The property is flawlessly run and has a design aesthetic and attractiveness that puts it at the head of its class.
SPG RECOGNITION: Always excellent. I have had several stays this summer and, each time, I am recognized, greeted and thanked. Each time I am upgraded to a gorgeous corner suite. Each time there is a lovely in-room amenity. Top-notch Sheraton Lounge.
THE ROOM: Mostly glass - feels like a skybox over Zurich. Chic and ultra-modern decor gives is the feel of design hotel. I love the split bath (toilet compartment) and the outré picture window over the tub.
LOCATION: Not really central but in a cool, up-and-coming neighborhood. Tram stop right out front. Cinema and dining venues a short walk away.
EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS: The Sheraton Lounge is exactly how every executive lounge should be - beautifully-appointed with enough of an evening spread that you never have to leave the hotel!
ONE THING TO KNOW: The property is an easy distance on foot or a couple of tram stops to Zürich Hardbrücke Station from whence there are twice-hourly direct trains to the airport.
