Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable hotel with excellent staff My husband and I stayed at your beautiful hotel for 6 nights. The room was exactly as per requested, easy to find all bars and restaurants, and happy, friendly staff. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel for any couple wanting to be in where all the action of Waikiki is. March 6, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by first visit to hawaii Hotel looks more like a resort.. it's pretty amazing. One small negative is that the infinity pool is super tiny and it doesnt have much of its own beach front like many of the other hotels have. The check in process also seemed to take quite a bit longer than it does usually..but other than these items, the view and hotel was absolutely great. i loved how the room had a large balcony and u could see the ocean from the shower. Definitely get the ocean view, it makes the world of difference. March 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel made our stay We felt going back to hawaii again this year was a bit of a compromise until we checked into the Sheraton Waikiki and experienced the service and true welcome we received. Stayed nine days and enjoyed everyone of them. The Club Lounge was a great place to meet new friends and enjoy the spectacular Sunsets. March 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice location away from noisy Kalakaua Extremely disappointed in the agent that checked us in. She had an attitude problem. She was extremely 'rude'. My reservation was for a City View, 2-beds and a private balcony. There could not be a worse room in the Hotel than the one she gave me. It was the last room at the end of a very long hallway - with a view of 3-large vents on a roof right up to a high window - without any balcony. The small windows were 'screwed' shut and could not be opened. There was no refrig. or any other amenities. I called a Manager and an hour later she found me a room with a balcony - - but only 1-bed which was o.k. March 4, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Resort! Rooms were clean and comfortable but found it was a bit of a trek to the room from the hotel elevator area. One of the lamps was broken and the mini-fridge did rattle the lamp a bit, but nothing serious enough to call maintenance over. It would have been nice if there was more than one chair to sit in as there were 2 of us in the room March 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Highly Recommend! After a disappointing night in a different hotel, we shopped around for a better hotel and finally selected the Sheraton Waikiki. It was a great choice! The service was outstanding from the minute we walked in to the minute we checked out. We had a partial ocean view, which actually gave us a wonderful view of the shoreline facing west. The service was fantastic and everyone we encountered gave us great suggestions for what to do (and not do)! We highly recommend the Sheraton Waikiki and will stay there the next time we are in Waikiki! March 3, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by We will come again. My one problem was that they wouldn't give me an extra roll of toilet paper as a back up.. I requested it twice.....in 7 days and it was never given to me so I took one off the cart in the hall. I do not understand why there wasn't one on the shelf in the closet and on the shelf in the bathroom at all times as a back up. March 1, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst night of sleep in a hotel The noise level the night of 2/23 was unbearable. I was on the 10th floor and was kept awake until well past midnight because of the noise coming up from the Rum Fire Bar. I had an all-day meeting the next morning and it was important that I got a good night's sleep. There was also a family with a baby staying next door. The baby cried throughout the night -- probably because of the noise from the bar. The walls seem to be very thin because I could hear this baby cry most of the night night. Bottom line: it was the worst night I've ever spent in any hotel anywhere. My entire next day was ruined due to lack of sleep. Very unacceptable. February 28, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Need to improve room cleaning... I stayed a partial ocean view room for 2 nights. The hotel needs to improve room cleaning. I found a lot of hair and dust in the room. For example, the lumps got dust all over, and there were hairs on shower curtains and floor. TV remote was not working at all, and the bathtub is pretty old, and dirty. I cannot believe that the hotel charges $300-$400 for this room. February 26, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheraton Stay Our family of 4 stayed from a Friday to Sunday (Kamaaina). It was a great experience for our children! The room had a fantastic view, the service was great and check in/out was seemless. Food from various locations on site was good. We already expected the high cost. Pool arrangements were good for both kids and adults. Kid pool really windy, but can not help (I think it is a design issue). February 25, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs renovation! We used to stay in this hotel 25 years ago. I don't think the rooms have been renovated since!! Although we had a great view of Diamondhead--the rooms NEED work!! The tub was chipped and peeling, shower curtain dirty, room had no color--bland. February 25, 2013

From the moment we checked in until we checked out 2 days later on our "Staycation" we were greeted with such outstanding customer service that was neither forced or rehearsed. I realize that, with people serving themselves, burn issues need to be addressed. However, tepid entrees and scrambled eggs are most unappetizing. February 24, 2013

THE INFINITY POOL & POOL SERVICE WAS AMAZING.....FLOATING AROUND IN BEAN BAGS WITH A COCKTAIL.....SEEING TURTLES IN THE OCEAN! DOESNT GET MUCH BETTER. ALSO WE ARE NEW TO STARWOOD AND ENJOYED OUR EVENING ON THE 30TH FLOOR ....THE VIEWS ARE STUNNING. THE STAFF ARE SO WELL TRAINED , SO FRIENDLY , ALWAYS HAPPY TO HELP. WE CAN T WAIT TO COME BACK! Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceptional Setting What an exceptional setting for Sheraton Waikiki right on the beach with stunning vistas.We recently stayed at this hotel and enjoyed the excellent facilities this hotel offers, such as from a swim from a well laid out pool straight on to the beach, Hammocks to rocking chairs to get you totally relaxed from the moment you step into this amazing hotel.It was never to much trouble for the guest services and Aloha Landing ..what an excellent idea, staff there were fantastic in helping you get to your destination without any worries. Rated 4 out of 5 by The infinity pool is the drawing card! The pool area is amazing. We stay @ the Sheraton every February, our 5th time. I was @ the Sheraton in 1973, and have to say that the rooms are basically the same, not a lot of upgrading done in that department. The breakfast buffet is spectacular. Greater supervision must be given to the pool area and restricting use to sheraton vacationers only. Too many outsiders take lounges and pool bean bags February 21, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not at all what I expected I was expecting an extremely nice hotel from top to bottom. However, the rooms were not anything like the other hotels I've stayed at in the area. The carpet had a tear in it. The sheets had holes in them, and when the staff was told, they changed them but the next day put new sheets on that once again had holes in them. There were ants on the balcony that worked their way in to the room and the A/C would take itself off of the manual setting I put it on and change itself back to auto so the room was not at the temperature I preferred. When the hotel staff was informed that the A/C was doing this, they told me all you had to do to change it to manual was press the fan button which I obviously know but that does not address the fact that it changes itself back to auto and turns itself off. Also at one point after the maid had come through our A/C had been changed from 72 to 60. Not satisfied at all. February 20, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great location and friendly staff Our family of four enjoyed 10 nights at the Sheraton. The location can't be beat. LOVED how close we were to all the shopping and restaurants. Any staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The only room for improvement would be queen beds instead of doubles. All in all we had a great time and plan to return again! This team is focused on providing the best service possible, and I observe this same behavior with other guests consistenly. Rated 2 out of 5 by SPG status meant nothing The lack of a room on the SPG preferred guest floor proved to be problematic. Additionally, the staff does the bare minimum and they continually remind you that the hotel is always full. It seemed like they wanted me to know that they did not need my business. Additionally, the guest room with partial ocean view was merely a view of the pool. Lastly, I spoke with Doug (manager) and he ensured me that if the hotel was not always full he would ensure that SPG elite status was recognized. Lastly, the guest room was quite noisy as the patio door did not completely close and the wind kept me up throughout the night. The lack of service detracted from my overall experience. Rated 4 out of 5 by Sheraton on Waikiki While the facility is a bit older, it has been well maintained, and the staff and service are very good. The bathroom is a bit tight, and the "partial ocean view" is a misnomer, as you need to lean precariously over the balcony to get a view of the ocean. The location of the hotel is excellent, and the amenities are excellent as well. Overall, we had a great vacation, and the staff in particular went above and beyond. We will definitely be returning there again. February 17, 2013
