Rated 5 out of 5 by Family Wedding Group We came to Hawaii for my daughters wedding , and required several rooms with guests coming and going on various dates. The Sheraton made it easy. Great service and kind assistance from all staff concerned. Many thanks to Brandon Kaya and Julie Loo. July 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wonderful Beach View Great position on point and has therefore best views and most sun. We has amazing views from 25th floor of Waikiki. Rooms and common areas are a bit tired and need refurbishment but it did not detract from the experience. The hotel is also very centrally located. I would definitely stay there again May 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by 4th of July We had a great time in general however this year Sheraton Waikiki had no entertainment for its guest until 3p. In years past Sheraton was festive from 8am to the night firework show with live MC, games, give aways for the kids, and music. Not this year sad... July 6, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by need renovation The room is too old and inconvenient. We had suite only one bathroom. Bath tub and toilet is the same room. If one use the bath, other have to wait for the bathroom. We also had a bad noise situation from neighbors. Whenever someone use the bath or toilet, it sounds. We could not have good sleep. Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable hotel with excellent staff My husband and I stayed at your beautiful hotel for 6 nights. The room was exactly as per requested, easy to find all bars and restaurants, and happy, friendly staff. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel for any couple wanting to be in where all the action of Waikiki is. March 6, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by the view The best part of this hotel was the great view. The staff in the Club Lounge was very friendly and a very nice place to hang out. Housekeeping deteriorated the longer we stayed and one day they totally forgot us. The furniture was very sparse, left much to be desired (one chair for a $600 room) July 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent!! Staff was very friendly and very prompt with anything we asked for!! That means a lot! In the middle of everything, food, shopping, etc....After a long 10 hour flight it was great to be met with the true Aloha spirit! Music by John Valentine was a plus! Look forward to our next stay. Rated 5 out of 5 by Aloha Spirit found at the Sheraton Waikiki I was pleasantly surprised at the level of kindness and ability to accommodate the needs of the Sheraton guests. The staff exemplified the Aloha Spirit. The hotel is conveniently located on the strip for great shopping. The pools and beach access are great. Thank you for a lovely Spring Break! March 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice week at the Sheraton Waikiki From the time we arrived, we were treated like VIP's. From the suite upgrade, to the Platinum benifits offered. The club room was great, for both breakfast, and evening food and drinks. The staff was kind, and friendly everywhere we went. We loved the place, and will come back some day soon. April 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top Rate Hotel; Top Rate Staff The spirit of Hawaii is alive at the Sheraton Waikiki. From Allison and Christine at the front desk, to Stanley and Mitch in the Concierge Lounge, they make you feel welcomed and special. We stayed a week at the hotel and everyday was great. It is truly our home away from home. Mike from NYC March 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by NIce Option for a Waikiki Stay My wife and I have stayed at this hotel a number of times while visiting Oahu to take advantage of the location and the views of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach. A negative is that the rooms are somewhat dated and for some reason have no drawers to store your clothes, only shelves. On the positive side are the fantastic views, and I would recommend paying the extra cost to take advantage of them if you can. I believe all the rooms have balconies to enjoy these views from. The size of the hotel creates a somewhat chaotic arrival and check in process, but also means that there are many dining, drinking, shopping and service options. Some other highlights of this hotel include the location on the beach, a great adult pool and a very nice larger pool area for families. Unfortunately, it is very challenging to find a chair at the adult pool and it would be nice if this area was somehow expanded. The location offers an extensive variety of activities, shopping and dining options within a short walk. April 16, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by For young tourists only The hotel is always alive and overcrowded at times. No quietness at night. The predominant tourist group at the time of our stay were Japanese. We felt like in Tokio! August 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Staff Brett around the infinity pool area was simply outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. I looked forward to seeing his family face every morning and bought a great pair of Maui Mim sunnies from him. I believe the poolside menu could have some more variety June 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice stay I stay at the hotel two weeks every year. My last stay was the week of August 20th. The hotel seems full and the service was not a good as it normally is when I go there. The front desk seemed to be under staffed and the wait took a while. The food did not seem to be a good as in the past. August 28, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by hotel not what we expected for a Shereton Hotel Rooms were runned down, bathroom grout rusty and nasty looking for Shereton. Pool was overcrowded, other Hotel guest using pool area. Never was able to get a seat close to pool without reserving early in the morning, or paying (really?) for a seat, ridiculous! Drinks and food overpriced. January 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent stay Stayed for 2 nights Jun 15-17, 2012. Was upgraded to top floor (31) with ocean view of Diamond Head. Very nice. I had asked for a suite when I checked in, but the room provided was very nice and clean. Lounge was nice and provided nice breakfast, but was only open from 6-10am and 4-8pm. Would have been nice to have access to the lounge during other hours to relax....especially since it was so windy during one of our days there. Lounge staff was great. I had stayed at this hotel a few times in years past, and they made some GREAT remodels, to include the adult only infiniti pool, seperate pool area for families with a water slide, nice lobby, and Rum Fire bar. Not sure if the resort charge is worth it at $25.00 per day, as were not able to take advantage of any resort activities, nor did we use the parking, and internet would have been included anyway as a lifetime platinum. Overall a nice hotel, great location, and friendly service. Thanks for honoring platinum status...as not all Starwood hotels do. June 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by A beautiful resort hotel The hotel services and facilities are everything you would expect from a world class hotel group, day to day the resort was ran very well and staff professional at all times. The cleanliness of the room was not of a high standard though, a shame as it let our overall impression down. September 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Resort Charge and Service, SPG Gold Amenity I paid the daily resort charge and did not receive water bottle a couple days. when notifying the front desk 3 separate times to bring it up, they never did. Also, as a Gold member, expected to have some additional amenity or service, but was only granted 1 visit to the club lounge. January 1, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Best Spot in Waikiki For a terrific location and beautiful views, Sheraton Waikiki is a great find. Lots of uniques shopping opportunities on property (love the hat shop) and million more a stones throw away. Plenty to do or a great place to relax and enjoy the hotel amenities. Kind and responsive staff. February 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by I Ping My stay at your hotel was a very pleasant one. Even before my arrival, Sheri Thom-Guest Experience Manager, communicated with me and answered questions we had before our arrival. Hotel staffs were very courteous and pleasant to talk to. July 10, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by House keeping needs much improvement Your house keeping was really bad. They had to replace two fridges to get us a working one. Each day the house keeper was forgetting something one day no coffee one day no cups ...each time we had to call. For a hotel like this caliber it's not acceptable. June 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Million $ views and location The facility exceeds any other hotel on Waikiki Beach. Best pools and service, the Rum Fire lounge, the Edge Bar, your right there watching the turtles and beach activities. From the front desk to guest services, you are treated with Aloha spirit and they make reservations happen. September 26, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very nice hotel Overall, an excellent experience. Only one criticism in that whatever hot items were served in the Leahi lounge on Floor 30 were tepid. I realize that, with people serving themselves, burn issues need to be addressed. However, tepid entrees and scrambled eggs are most unappetizing. February 24, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Suite was dark like a cave We were upgraded to a mid size suite. It was run down and while the view was nice from the balcony, the rooms were dark and cave like. The bathroom was oddly very hot all the time too. Would have preferred the standard ocean facing room we booked on a high floor over this 'suite' November 22, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by A tired old lady Despite extensive renovations to the lobby and pool area the rooms (Maila Suite room 1844) just for eample or tired, worn out, dirty with ripped carpet, no water pressure, old furniture, filthy showers and toilets - all for $800 a night. But there are new flat screens in the room February 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best choice in Waikiki The Sheraton is my favorite place to stay in Waikiki when visiting on business. The staff is accommodating, rooms are comfortable and beds are amazing. Not to mention, the location can't be beat. The hotel has everything that a business (or leisure) traveler might need. May 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very friendly hotel Our recent family holiday at your hotel was perfect. I noticed from the senior staff down to the porter everyone knew there job & had a great attitude. The hotel strikes me as a very well run place & full credit to the boss. July 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best pool ever! We love hawaii but the infinity pool made our vacation! Best view of diamond head and Waikiki beach. Adults only so there were no kids ! With the giant floating beanbags and the dj Saturdays!!! It was like a Vegas pool party without the drunks! And with a breathtaking view!!! December 11, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great view and access to shopping but limited services & amenities We stayed in the ocean front view twin room with four family members. The view from the room was fantastic, it was like staying on the ocean. However, we were disappointed that the room was not completely prepared for four guests and limited amenities compared to the other same class hotels; there was no slippers, shaving kit, tooth brush & paste, shower cap, cotton balls & cutips, bath robes, shoe cleaning kit, and shower gel. if you want the slippers, the hotel charges for it. The extra bed was not brought in the room, and we requested the hotel staff at the registration after we settled in the room, but the bed and requested amenities were not setup in the room when we came back 5 - 6 hours later. So, we called the operator, and the house keeper finally brought the bed and extra towels, shampoos etc, but no tooth brush, slippers, and robes, and we asked again. We wished the room was set up completely for the number of guests before we checked in. Finally, the long hallway from the elevator to the room was very hot and we wished that the air conditioner worked better. July 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovely hotel One of my favorite things about this hotel is the view and the comfortable beds. I also like the fact that everything is there at your finger tips, such as shopping, restaurants etc. It's a perfect place to stay if traveling alone as a woman and wanting a safe get-a-way.
