Was not disappointed! Beautiful hotel. Room was very spacious and clean. Hotel staff especially check-in (I think her name was Ashley) and housekeeping were very friendly. We stayed at the hotel to celebrate my son's 6th birthday and she (Ashley)went out of her way to make him feel special! This will definitely be the hotel of our choice for any furture "staycations" and we will also reccommend it to all visiting family and friends.

This was a repeat visit for us, and every expectation was, once again, exceeded by this fantastic hotel and even better staff! From SPG Platinum recognition, to fantastic lodging with incredible views, to housekeeping team, to Leahi Lounge environment, comforts, amenities and staff ... we could not have asked for more. the staff was super friendly , the room was great. and they honored my spg status with giving me 2 class room upgrade on an already cheap room!. WOW. ( i used cash&points ).
traveled for my personal special event and got a free champagne bottle. plus my wife b day. so got some free ice creams.
i will be going back for sure. for the price and what you get you cant beat it!!. not even
locals prices on cheap hotel room can beat this.

Over all best place to vacation Sheraton Waikiki. Everyone welcomes you with Aloha, not just the word but spirit of Welcome. For me, this is about my 15th stay and I feel as if I am staying in my own private condo. Staff from the Executive office to the Bell Service, waiters, front desk, Leahe room call me by name. I am made to feel like family away from home.
Sheraton Waikiki I love you all !!!!

We stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki in September and were instantly thrilled with what we saw. From Elaine who checked us in with her friendly yet professional manner to the sheer size and buzz of the hotel. All the staff we encountered were always happy and very helpful and made us feel at home. We will definitely be returning to the Sheraton Waikiki on our next vist...and hopefully that won't be too far away as we miss it already!

This was such an amazing trip and the Sheraton Waikiki was the true reason. From valet when we arrived late at night to the front desk when we checked out early in the morning, EVERYONE was so nice and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and clean, housekeeping attentive and boasted a beautiful view. The food by the pool was some of the best we've ever had outside of a four star restaurant. We will be returning in the future!

Very busy lobby area. Lack of on property dining. View from room (21st fl) was spectacular! Very clean and modern property. Plenty of elevators, no waiting. Resort charge is a joke. Basically you pay $25 (and tax on top of that) for unlimited phone service (who doesn't have their own cell phone) and a bottle of water. Pool is jam packed with kids, and the beach is too narrow. Great location for shopping and access to activities.

I requested a double bed for and at check in only King bed was available, the staff offered a roll out bed at no charge and that was fine. we checked in at 1130am and at 4:00pm I had to call to check on the bed due to my husbad and I going to a party, we were told it was on its way. At 11:30pm we arrived back at our room to find my son sleeping on the floor. called again and they FINALLY CAME. Other than that I LOVED my stay!

I check in a lot here at Sherraton, the last two recents stay we're unsatisfy upon check in. We check as a Hot Rates guest and treated differently. We feel like we were not welcome as a guest upon check in and when we complain about our room I was not given a choice or options because our booking was booked hot rates. I believe that no matter what type of booking we should have been treated as a guest. Our confirmation shows that we are confirm in a city view with balcony but we didn't got balcony, we got a room on the six floor with a small window . Feel like a dungeons. MOD that night has not given me on option and that's not acceptable to me. I been in the hotel industry for 10 years and manage a hotel his response is unacceptable. So called next day talk to another MOD she was able to help me and moved me into a better room. I was happy after wards.

This hotel had excellent staff-Bridget in the restaurant was outstanding. She was clearly loaded with tables on Sunday morning but paid extra attention to us, bringing over the coffee my client liked so she could see the brand and package. She was polite, accommodating and very hard working. The front desk staff overall was outstanding-whether remote or at the actual front desk they were pleasant, professional and friendly.

We stayed at the hotel over Christmas vacation, which included New Year's Eve. This was a family vacation and we celebrated our son's 16th b-day. What an incredible hotel and the location was perfect. Excellent service, spacious guest rooms helped make this a special place to our family. THANK YOU! The NYE celebration (which we enjoyed from the balcony of our room) was a blast. Big party and fireworks on the beach. Amazing!

We had a family trip with 4 rooms reservation. The rooms had no shower gel, shampoo and conditioner set at all. My own room had it only on the first day. We had to call every night to get the set. I didn't get refill even we put the bottle up side down. Stain on the table and bed sheet on the check in day. The used glasses weren't been replaced the clean one.

Plats are recognized nicely at the SPG hotel. We were upgraded to a suite, access to the nicest lounge, and staff was exceptionally nice. A plat bracelet got us all the towels we needed and no waiting. This hotel makes me stay loyal to the SPG program. I can bring my family here every year for spring break to relax, The Lawsons store made us feel like we lived in Japan again. Thank you Sheraton for making our stay perfect!

My mom tried to order me a bday cake and had major issues. After two hours on the phone she finally got strawberries and champagne ordered. We checked in and it was delivered several hours later when we were out. They were not good the next morning. After the trouble and expense it was not worth it.
We booked local rate since we live in Hawaii. Upon check in the requested our hawaii id. I have them our Texas license with the Hawaii address since we're military. They said that wouldn't work but we could use our electric bill. How is a license not better than an electric bill with the same address and name but no picture? They hassled me for 20 minutes while a line of people waited. They decided to give an exception. The rate is not that much cheaper. Our weekend stay was $600. We could have chosen to stay somewhere just as nice for cheaper but I like the sharton.

The hotel was beautiful. I would like to make a few suggestions that would have made my stay better.
First off, there were tons of tiny ants in my room. Which, to an extent I can understand, being on a tropical island. However, there were so many it was gross. They were on my toothbrush and hair brush.
Further, my 13 year old daughter had broken her the leg the week before our trip. Your hotel offered no accommodations.

The hotel is nice in that the hotel is very conveniently located on Waikiki beach and the pool is very nice.
However, the service at the hotel was very poor. I was met with frequent condescending remarks, staff that cut me off in the middle of my sentence because they thought they knew what I would be asking for, and one time, the staff almost yelled at me.
Also, the hotel has a resort fee of $25/day. This would not be as much of an issue except that the internet did not work on the first two days of my stay. That definitely contributed to the poor experience since internet is definitely something I need to plan my vacation.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel but only due to the location and amenities. The hotel is very busy and I think staff sometimes forget how much the customers are paying to stay there.
I was definitely not impressed with the staff here.

Visit this property 4-5 times a year. A very well run efficient preperty in good location. Nice rooms with ocean views, nice pool areas and good bars. This hotel is a favourite of japanese tour groups so not for those looking for a boutique experience. I have stayed at most of the comparable properties in Waikiki over the years and this is the best run and most efficient of all the properties. Arranging special requests (like extra lanai furniture), late check outs, SPG upgreades, everything is handled swiftly and efficiently. The location in the center of Waikiki is very convenient and the resort fee includes free parking so one can get out of Waikiki both using Lewers and Ala Wai but also back way through Fort De Russy (good when Kalakaua is blocked for parades or marathon). Last but most important is the quality of the staff who genuinely care and treat you as Ohana.

We didn't stay long enough to enjoy all the features of the hotel, but those we did were fantastic! The 2 pools were great - you have to check out the sunset from the Infinity Pool area - as were the food outlets.
Room was clean, spacious and had a wonderful view of the ocean. The hotel's location provided lots of eating and shopping opportunities within easy walking distance.
Would absolutely come back to stay!

This hotel has a lot of great features, the infinity pool is amazing and our room was nice. The hotel itself seemed extremely busy, there were a lot of tour buses and tour groups around, and had a conference going on, so it was definitely full a lot. Also, small bit of feedback on one of the stores that is located in the hotel, Lawson Station, it smells horrible and the smell goes into the lobby and every time we walked passed my husband and I would remind each other to hold our breath. Also, in the store I went looking for some pharmaceuticals one day, and hardly anything was in English. I was really disappointed that the store couldn't have a better English selection since we are in America. This hotel is gorgeous with a great pool and location, however it definitely is maximizing its tour bus potential which makes it seem busy and not as friendly to the independent traveler sometimes.

We stayed in the Sherton for 4 nights and 5 days. This hotel is Beautiful and we had a wonderful time in this resort. The pool area and the beach area at this hotel are gorgeous and fun!! The poolside restraunt/bar was also a fun hangout area. Staff was wonderful and our room was cleaned very well daily. Would highly recommend this hotel for vacation! Also, I do not have kids, but this hotel is Kid Friendly.

From check-in to check-out, the staff and management did all they could to ensure a comfortable, no-hassle stay. The choice of pools and their locations were excellent, and were well-supported by towel and cabana services, and a variety of restaurants and fast-food services within easy walking distance. Combined with clean, comfortable rooms, as well as an excellent downtown location, this hotel is a winner!

WE stayed at this hotel for christmas 2011 they gave us an upgrade of an oceanfront room it was beautiful best christmas in the island of oahu . It was Awesome. the shopping center and facilities at sheraton waikiki are wonderful. the hotel has a wonderful buffet The Hotel is centrally located . you can walk everywhere to the beach the shopping Planning to go back and stay there in spring of this year WOW

This team is focused on providing the best service possible, and I observe this same behavior with other guests consistenly. It was a beautiful hotel. Our room, balcony and view was very nice. The lobby and shops were nice. However, a nice restaurant for fine dining is needed. Also, the Kai Market needs to be open for lunch as well. The Rum Fire restaurant didn't have much of a menu, very limited.
Get rid of those orange floating bean bags in the infinity pool. They are useless and everyone I saw had trouble getting on them.

While the hotel's common areas have obviously been upgraded, the rooms have not. The Texas phrase, "It's like putting lipstick on a pig" definitely suits this hotel. If the staff had been the least bit friendly and accomodating, it might have made up for the sub-par rooms, but sadly, I did not encounter one staff member who was polite, let alone friendly. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

we didn't get 3 rooms on the same floor with ocean view as requested. Cleaning left curtain open several days and room was hot when we returned. We didn't get our SPG recognition or points last year or this year. requested a pen. Not pen left in room so we purchased one. No new ice bucket liner twice. Couldn't believe you charge $5 for an extra bottle of water. One bottle was not enough for 2 people.

Best part of this hotel is the location, I stayed here 15 yrs ago and this hotel was elegant and charming, now the renovations have turned it into a shopping mall and it is now just another really nice hotel with a great location. Location is the most important thing.

GOOD: Convenient location. The view from the ocean room is breath-taking. The Inifinty Pool is un-believable. If you are Platinum, you get a special wristband and get great amenities at this property. I have never felt so privilege being a Platinum member then at this property! Lounge access is great, and the view from the lounge i also amazing!
BAD: Room is run-down, outdated and needs a face-lift

The pool area is amazing. We stay @ the Sheraton every February, our 5th time. I was @ the Sheraton in 1973, and have to say that the rooms are basically the same, not a lot of upgrading done in that department. The breakfast buffet is spectacular. Greater supervision must be given to the pool area and restricting use to sheraton vacationers only. Too many outsiders take lounges and pool bean bags

Our room was very nice. The view was awesome. But unfortunately the neighbors were terrible. I was awakened at 1:30 a.m. by slamming doors and loud yelling. I finally called "0" at around 1:47 a.m. and security came up to quiet them down. It worked; there was no more noise, but I couldn't get back to sleep until around 4! I was so disappointed. Other than that, everything was excellent as always.
