Rated 1 out of 5 by Not a Good Experience 1. Room service staff was rude and unprofessional. 2. Front desk staff (day shift) was not helpful or customer friendly. 3. A family member drove over an hour to see me. When I did not hear my phone ring hotel staff refused to send someone up to check on me. I missed seeing my family member. This is not a hotel I would recommend for business travelers as staff is not trained to be helpful, friendly or courteous. March 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice hotel in downtown Silver Spring I stayed at this hotel for business as it was in close proximity to federal offices. The staff was very friendly. My shower was not working well though. I forgot a few essential items so it was nice to have those available at the front desk. close to restaurants March 3, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by OK but not great This hotel did not meet my expectations. Service was slow at breakfast which is not good for people attending meetings that need to get in and out. The room temperature was 60 degrees and I had to leave my coat on until the room warmed up. The light switch in the room only turns on a light by the bathroom which means the rest of the room was dark. It was therefore hard to find a light switch either of the two lamps in the room. I also had trouble with my card key. It stopped working and I had to get a new one. I also got stuck in the elevator. The elevator didn't stop on my floor even though I pressed 5 (my floor #) and the button lit. The elevator continued to go to the 12th floor and stopped there for awhile and the doors didn't open. I almost pressed the alarm but then the elevator returned back to the lobby. February 21, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Stay Overall very happy with our recent stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. Front desk went above and beyond. Lounge staff were also very friendly. Only issue's we encountered was no working ice machines on any floors between 1-8. Literally had to go to front lobby to get some. And while they were very good about getting us some right away. Should'nt have ever been an issue to begin with. When you have no refrigerators available in room, you should most deffinately have ice available on each floor. Front desk made sure to take care of us. Which was appreciated, and not expected. Also, Mica staff in morning were very nice. But the buffet was horrible. Cold, and nearly out of everything hot. Only replaced the eggs and sausage after who I assumed was a manager went and told them. Overall would recommend hotel due to location, staff and cleanliness. But really need to look into the little things that make a persons stay. January 31, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Needs improvement Check-in was fast, but I waited for about 15 min for a cup that that never come. The toilet in my 15th floor room barely flush. It took forever for the dinner to arrive, about an hour wait, even for appetizers, while there were not many customers. And no recognition of SPG member. Although the room is comfortable, it is an overall very disappointing stay compared with my experience last year. January 30, 2014

We always get the club house floor with breakfast but really never have time to make it to the breakfast…this time we did… last time I thought it was just a miss app but now its the 3rd time….The staff is great but the food is not. If you guys were to change the breakfast it would be PERFECT January 1, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Why bother with making a reservation.. Made a reservation for an accessible King bed with roll in shower. Upon checking in at 3 PM was told no room existed.. then gave me the only accessible room available with 2 double beds and a tub. I am very disappointed with Sheraton. December 31, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Staff, Uncomfortable Room The staff at this Sheraton went out of their way to make guests feel welcome. They really deserve a lot of praise. We stayed in room 1503 and although the temperature was below freezing outside, we sweltered in the room and could not get it cool enough to sleep. Also, there was a non-stop drip somewhere in the walls or ceiling that kept us awake. December 25, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Outstanding Customer Service From the moment i walked into the door, I was awed by the outstanding customer service of both L.A (evening check-in) and Allison (morning check-out). These two employees made my experience at the Sheraton. Their outstanding customer service skills have set the benchmark for other Starwood resorts. I would highly recommend this hotel based on the excellent care and treatment I received. December 13, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Over charged and underwhelmed For a Sheraton Hotel this was a lackluster. I was charged fees that I was told I would not pay for. (Wi-fi) Parking is poor for the added fees. Friday morning at checkout there was no one at the front desk. There was not even other staff around to ask if they could find someone. I know this is a new location but I am surprised that the owners have been able to maintain the Sheraton flag. With so many other great SPG properties in the area I will certainly not be staying here again. December 11, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Garage Exit On the morning of 12/08/13 I tried to exit the garage at 09:30 AM. At check-in I was told the garage charge would be on my bill and to use my room card to exit. It wouldn't work. I re-parked and went to the desk. I was informed the charge was NOT on my bill. I said "Put it on". I went back down. Card would still not work. I re-parked and returned to the desk. Agent suggested I pay downstairs. OK. I tried two valid credit cards and got the notice "Invalid Card". By this time a hotel employee was there trying to help another guest. He used his card and I finally was able to leave the garage. One half hour delay when trying to beat bad weather. This is unacceptable. December 9, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by needs improvement Initial check-in was fine, staff and room were satisfactory. The room booked was a non-smoking suite with breakfast.The room was booked for 3 days Wednesday thru Saturday. On Thursday evening, I return to my room with no heat. I notified the lobby desk and the heat came on for 30 minutes or so. I retired to bed only to find out that the heat had remained off the entire night. Friday morning upon arising I had to personally complain. I was given another room which was a double bed and not a king bed suite which I had booked for my 3 day stay. There was no microwave/refrigerator in either room. . December 1, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel great for Short Business trip This is a great hotel to stay in for a short period such as a business trip. I do appreciate the complimentary refrigerator, internet access, and parking since I was expected to stay here for over 30 days. That helped defray the cost of the hotel. Also, I do want to recognize Allison at the front desk for having patience and assisting me. The restaurant downstairs (MICA) was great and the food during Happy Hour was very good and reasonably priced. November 25, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Need improvement The Hotel was clean and the room was pleasant. The hotel did not provide toiletries. The service was extremely slow both in the restaurant and at the check-in and check out. The computer and the printer were not working on the check-out day. In the restaurant the buffet was empty, our credit card was misplaced and in general it took for ever to get a check and go back to our meeting. November 15, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Location I was on this trip for a conference hosted there. The facilities were good. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable.However, the rate was a bit pricey for my tastes. It is close to the Metro Redline station and multiple bus routes. Rated 3 out of 5 by Ruth and Bobbi Rock! While the beds are soft and the pillows softer, the staff at this hotel made up for it with rock hard service. Ruth in housekeeping kept me from loosing a cherished coat, helped me change rooms from a noisy one and then remembered my name every time she saw me for the next few days. Bobbi who took my call for gluten free food at room service was so careful and thoughtful to make sure that I had what I needed. November 10, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not to Sheraton standards Had to switch rooms after we arrived. The second room was no better than the first. Carpet had burn holes in it in both rooms. The first room looked like someone had recently slept in it. My wife was horrified. The air conditioner was very loud, at times it sounded like a motorcycle was attempting to ride thru the room. Rated 4 out of 5 by Features of the hotel This is my fourth stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and very large. The conference rooms were set up well and the staff was very helpful. I have two suggestions: there was no guide to the hotel's services in the room necessitating several calls to the front desk; the bathtub has a slippery surface and although I requested a rubber mat from Housekeeping it was never delivered. Rated 2 out of 5 by Not the best service I was scheduled to arrive on Thursday evening. As a nursing mother away on a business trip, I required a refrigerator in my room to store breast milk. I called to make arrangements a week in advance as was told there was a one time $30 charge. That was fine with me and I expressed that I needed the fridge to be in the room prior to my arrival in order to keep the milk from the trip fresh. I called again the day of just to double check and was assured this would not be a problem. When I arrived, I was told that they would bring the fridge to the room at that time (which they did but it was NOT cold) and that it was a $15 per day charge. I arrived at 11:00pm and was charged for that day of not having a cold fridge. I had to dump the milk I pumped on the beginning of the trip. I had called in advance to avoid the problem of not having it in the room at arrival. I informed them of the late check in time and on the phone both times was assured it would not be a problem. It ended up being a problem. A pretty irritating problem. September 23, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Club Service I paid extra hoping to have the connivence of the club level before my interviews. Went to get breakfast place filthy and no dishes to get food. This was at 8:15-8:30 waited hoping someone would show. Went back to my room to call and complain and got nothing but excuses. Went back at 9:00 and they where packing everything away. Was beyond a waste of money along with the room service that provided molded berries and a soggy/ cold mushroom burger. The room was comfortable and the girl who checked me in was nice. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone after that stay. Especially business travelers on a schedule..... September 19, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by September Stay The front desk staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The first room we were given had a foul odor from someone smoking in it and had several burns in the carpet (rm 1015),, the desk quickly gave us another room which was fresh smelling,, it was not "renovated" as your web page states,, I have stayed in this hotel when it was a Crown Plaza so I know the hotel,, the towel rack above the tub was rusty, no anti slip treads in the tub and it was extremely hard to pull up the "stopper" on the tub spout to get the shower to engage. Also, the stopper in the sink did not stay up,, I finally wedged the soap dish under it so I could keep water in the sink. I like this hotel for it's proximity to family in the area,, the staff is very good and our room was cleaned and straightened up very well. I also like being able to access my car when I need it.
