This was a delightful stay and we wish we had more time here. While we wish we had researched how to use the shuttle service from the airport (a taxi was Euro 35) the hotel itself was wonderful. Kaspar at check in was very professional and kind. The whole staff was attentive and warm. The rooms are huge and atmosphere is relaxing. We loved the Happy Hour and the restaurant was incredible. Awesome sushi and the best hotel restaurant we have experienced.

We stayed for 4 nights at this property. The overall property is good but it is really far from the city center and there is not much around this, including eating places since it is in a residential area.
The staff was very good and helpful in recommending places to visit.
The club lounge facility could be better for the Platinum members, comparing against some properties that we stayed in Spain during our vacation.

The hotel is great. However, if you need to get work done, you can't depend on the internet. Really a shame, because the hotel and facilities are excellent. They need to seriously upgrade their internet service in-room. So, if you don't need to work, enjoy it. If you need to work, careful!

Below are the strongest points:
1) Very polite and professional staff;
2) Very good infrastructure (especially gym);
3) Good connections with the center of Madrid (public transport and by car);
4) Well equipped Executive Lounge (aka Sheraton Club);
5) Very good SPG recogniction (upgrade to the best available room, welcome note from the general manager etc.).
No major areas for improvement identified within the 8-night stay.

My family and I recently stayed at this Sheraton, after I took ill on a business trip. This might be the best run hotel I have ever stayed in! The room was first rate, the breakfast buffet always fresh, and the hotel staff was always so attentive and friendly. It has made me a Sheraton convert, and I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Madrid. Congratulations to Sheraton for having such a well-run hotel.

Love staying at this hotel everything about it is amazing.
Yes it's not in the center but that also give it the advantage of making it in a quite relaxed area and not so crowded and noise at the outside.
The service is great everyone is so nice and they also gave me an amazing room which wasn't expected at all.
Next time in Madrid is back in the Sheraton Madrid Mirasierra Hotel & Spa for sure.

This hotel has been operated since 9 years here in Madrid, but since this Monday, 16th April 2012, becomes Sheraton. When I made a reservations, some confusion between the SPG and old reservation system, finally looks work properly. They recognized me as Platinum and upgraded properly. all of he rooms of this hotel are very large and the location is also good, between Madrid Airport and centre of Madrid. This hotel might be a usual place when I make a biz trip to Madrid.

1- the shuttle bus came too late to the airport after my phone calling witch cost me a lot of extra money
2. the driver was decent, polite and nice. he apologized although they give him the order too late..at last minute
3- the front desk person was too rude form first second. I asked him why the bus was too late.. he did not reply at all. I asked if there is chuttle bus to the train station next morning, with a very dray face and voice he said no.. the driver told me it is possible. but the front desk Staff looked at him with anger to the driver stopet talking
4. asked for upgrading of my room to club lunch floor.. he again with angry unpleasant face said no..its for only holder of paltium not gold holder (like we are too bad third class people).
I M STAROWOOD MEMEBR SINCE OVER 10 YEARS.. SUCH PERSON CAN DAMAGE THE GOOD REPUATION OF THE HOTEL. HE SHOULD BE FIRED. it was ON Monday 24/2 AT APPROX 21.00 PM.

I think it's absurd and very embarrassing to the Manager of the hotel, did not leave the air conditioner running on May 11. It was a day of very hot in Madrid and no hotel room had air conditioning running. At the time I was complaining to him he said he could do nothing to resolve the situation, except to change the room. It was 2:00 a.m. and the manager wanted me to transfer all my belongings and obviously I would have to devote at least an hour of my time, however, it do any good because the air conditioning did not work in all premises. I had to sleep with the windows open, but as these windows can not open by iteiro, I had to sleep with a lot of discomfort, a lot of heat.

All aspects of my stay were very good or excellent. Breakfast has delicious Spanish meats and cheeses, other expensive products like pine nuts and salmon. Spa has great splash zone. Club lounge on tenth floor offers quality snacks and vines. Tasty hot food serves from 6 to 8 p.m. Hotel staff performs exceptionally professional service with highest possible level of knowledge. I enjoyed my stay very much!

Been going to this hotel for 4 years, about 20 stays a year. It is a home away from home, and the staff makes sure to help with any odd requests.
Thanks to the staff here I stopped going to the Westin Palace downtown.
Great views of "la sierra" from the top floor...

Our stay was spoilt on the last night by the Concierge responding sarcastically to my wife.He is in the hospitality industry and should be hospitable and polite. Felt the staff generally couldn't care less and would not hurry back. The lounge staff were friendly and helpful but the restaurant staff were disinterested as were the pool staff. All in all a very disappointing experience

The Club lunge food need to be improved a lot, as other Sheratons hotels I have been to, they have better selection and quality.
Also car parking for 26 Euro per day is really unrealistic!!

I was particularly impressed with the personalized helpfulness of the staff, which was wonderful. We were there on a city holiday, so many of the pharmacies were closed, and we needed some medication. The staff arranged to drive us to the one 24 hour pharmacy that was open and to wait while we got what we needed. They definitely went above and beyond for us. Also the hotel restaurant was surprisingly good for dinner and featured a very good sushi and Japanese dining opportunity in a lovely outdoor patio rooftop setting. We just wished we had more time to use the spa facilities.

Everything about my stay here was great - rooms are all suite and very nicely done, comfortable and attractive, great separate shower and I loved having the espresso maker. The shuttle pick up from the airport was such a pleasure after my long flight and the driver was friendly and helpful, as were all of the other staff members with whom I interacted. The outside patio near the pool made for a lovely, relaxing post flight drink and dinner which I appreciated. All in all it was a great hotel, probably the nicest Sheraton I have stayed in, and I will definitely stay here again!

I have stayed at this hotel on three or four occasions and I believe it to be one of the best hotels in Madrid for value for money.
But this trip was not great, check n ok but room did not feel really ready. it was fine but no mouth wash etc.
lounge was ok but felt unwelcoming, dirty tables left uncleared and only a sort of visiting member of staff. Quite different from how it was before.
The shuttle to the airport is still great and is only a 20 minute trip.
I will stay here again, based on my previous stays, rather than this on.

We stayed 5 nites with a family. This hotel is roomy and comfortable and has an excellent club lounge. The subway is a 5 minute walk and a 30 minute ride to most of the sites.
The service is also great and the staff is very attentive,
There is also a nice pool and spa at the hotel, but we did not use it. Maybe next time.
This appears to be a good business hotel, but is also a great option for touring Madrid, if you dont need to be in the city.
Shuttle service to/from airport is a big plus, but only runs once an hour.
We were very pleased with our stay

Overall the stay was very comfortable ... short, so we didn't have an opportunity to really check out the property, but what we saw, we liked.
The warm welcome we received upon arrival (about 10:30 pm) was very much appreciated. The room was lovely!
The shower in our room was probably one of the most confusing I have ever encountered. The folks who installed them should try actually using them.
While waiting for the shuttle to the airport the following morning, we asked the front desk if we could get two cups of coffee in paper cups to take on the way to the airport and were directed to the restaurant. After getting the coffee, we were charged 9 Euros. Seriously? In paper cups? My husband and I both thought that was more than excessive.

This hotel is pretty much perfect for business travellers.
The staff could nt be kinder or more welcoming, check in and check out are amongst the best I have experienced.
Platinum recognition is very good. Lounge is great, breakfast good, great restaurant. The hotel is in a quite neighbour hood so no problems with noise. All this is at very very reasonable price, especially compare to the other more central hotels.
I like the location not too far from the city not to far from the airport.
Great for a stop over .

I have stayed at numerous Sheratons but the club level at Mirasierra is the best! The staff was very good throughout. Our welcoming agent took very good care of us and got our six party settled comfortably into three rooms - all on the same floor. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable as we'll.
The only issue was the elevators. For some reason there is no "Up" button on some of the floors. We ended up going Down when we wanted to go Up. However, it did not ruin our experience. It was a superb stay for us.

Stayed here twice recently coming into and going out of Madrid. The property itself is great: large, comfortable, nicely appointed rooms and just a short ride to the airport (shuttle included). The service is on a par with any of the 60+ Starwood properties We've stayed at over the years. The staff is exceptionally accommodating from the front desk to the executive lounge. A late dinner one night at the hotel was a pleasant surprise . If you don't need to be in the heart of Madrid you won't find better !!!

I loved this Sheraton - one of the SPG hotels. It's very elegant. I was only there for one night, but thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The entire staff couldn't have been more helpful - especially given that I needed a cab very early in the morning, to get to the airport.

My family and I spent NYE here and had a great time. Everyone was impressed about the spacious guestrooms/suites that were nice, modern and clean. Bottled water, fancy coffee machine and amenities such as super soft slippers are plus. The NYE gala was also very nice with plenty of food we couldn't even finish.
The staff is great. Even months prior to our arrival, I corresponded with Barbara Gonzalez and Guillermo Casado who were very informative and helpful. They helped me book the gala and airport shuttle. THANK YOU! Front desk, banquet and bell staff were also friendly.
Yes, the hotel is not as close to city center but there's a big mall within walking distance. I only wished the airport shuttle ran more often instead of every hour so book in advance! Too bad I couldnt enjoy the spa or the huge pool I saw from my window!

Everyone from the bellman to the manager, will go out of there way to make your stay perfect. This is your home away from home. The shuttle to and from the airport saves time and money. Excellent fitness facility, large indoor and outdoor pool, great food choices, large comfortable rooms. I will recommend to everyone. Also better being a little off the beaten path, only minutes. More peaceful and restful experience. Can't wait to go back.

Our stay was was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got great suggestions for day trips. We were upgraded to very nice executive suite which made our stay very comfortable. The club room offered lots of different food and good selection of alcohol. The pool area is beautiful. A very nice experience and great location to take day trips from because it's not in the middle of hectic downtown

I recently stayed at the hotel, and I am a mature woman who travelled on my own, as I wanted to stay at a first class hotel where I could rest and recover from a very busy time at work, and at the same time to visit Madrid city for the day. This hotel was superb. The staff could not be more helpful and efficient. My deluxe room was lovely. I will return. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

This hotel has a great, friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast buffet. But don't get the coffee they serve. Not very good. Use the nespresso machine and get some great coffee. Golds get 50% off (so it ended up being 14 euros).
Rooms are all suites. Really nice. Spa is convenient but didn't use. Workout room inside spa.
Hotel is far from central Madrid so if you like the city sites then realize you'll have a 45 min trip to get to city center using the metro. Nearby (5-10 min walk) metro stop is convenient. Just remember how to get back to the hotel when you come out of the metro at night! Taxi is doable and convenient- taxis right outside the hotel. About 20 euros we were told.
There were daily problems with the HVAC system and a few (2 of 4) nights were spent in a warm room. But the staff was always prompt to try and fix it.
Hotel has a convenient, free shuttle but be sure to make reservations for it. We had missing/delayed luggage so it was easy to go back/forth to the airport. Madrid Airport luggage company was not helpful. Wouldn't let me fill out a lost baggage form for some reason no matter how hard I tried. But I was thankful for the nice hotel shuttle.

We were please the hotel has pick-up service from airport and confirmed the arrival time before hand. The chief concierge, Mario was very helpful in booking a private car for our excursions to Toledo and to Segovia. I appreciate very much Lara who was able to help us get tickets to the opera and no-wait tickets to Museo Prado. It made our trip very enjoyable.
