Rated 5 out of 5 by Great staff and rooms I personally like this hotel as it has nice, huge rooms and an excellent club lounge. Platium amenities are always granted and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the location is not really central. But with taxi everything is in easy reach, or if you walk 10 minutes you have access to the subway. April 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Good Value for Madrid We stayed 5 nites with a family. This hotel is roomy and comfortable and has an excellent club lounge. The subway is a 5 minute walk and a 30 minute ride to most of the sites. The service is also great and the staff is very attentive, There is also a nice pool and spa at the hotel, but we did not use it. Maybe next time. This appears to be a good business hotel, but is also a great option for touring Madrid, if you dont need to be in the city. Shuttle service to/from airport is a big plus, but only runs once an hour. We were very pleased with our stay April 11, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by The gym should be free of charge I'm very disappointed to find that in 5* hotel, like this one, the gym is not free of charge, but costs EUR 18/day!! In any hotel which a stayed in, even 3* hotels, the gym is a facility given to the guests free of charge. I can understand that you can pay a fee for other services, like massages or spa or even the use of swimming pool; but, frankly, this hotel applies very unusually, on the base of my large experience, a fee (very expensive!) to use the gym. Rated 5 out of 5 by Strongly recommended! The hotel is not exactly down town (though, subway station is just at 3 min walk).  Location apart, this is a facility you can only be entusiastc of! From the vast and elegant circular shaped lobby, with it's domed roof reminding the Pantheon in Rome (included the big eye/hole at the center), to the modern yet warm furniture in the rooms. From the incredibly responsive, smiling, caring front desk, to the delicious buffet constantly served at the club lounge on the top floor (fantastic view of the "Sierra"). From the properly equipped fitness center and spa, to the full recognition I enjoyed as platinum member. No smudges whatsoever! I do look forward to the next time I'll visit Madrid and stay at Sheraton Madrid Mirasierra. October 10, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by A New SPG Winner OVERALL IMPRESSION: I had my doubts about the location for visitors coming for the classic sights but the proximity of the metro makes this property an appealing retreat from the more congested areas of the city. The beauty of the property and the pleasantness of the staff more than compensate. SPG RECOGNITION: Being an all-suite property, there isn’t too much they can add but I was upgraded to the top floor club level - billed as “a hotel within a hotel” and given Club access which, of course, includes breakfast. The staff reception was model and I appreciated the personal Welcome note from the director. THE ROOM: Absolutely fabulous. Elegantly decorated with Spanish design flair but, at the same time, invitingly homey. Sumptuous pillow-top mattress and down pillows. Handy kitchen corner and dining area. Gorgeous large free-form bath with separate toilet, shower and bath areas. Beautiful view over the Puerta de Europa. EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS: Free shuttle to and from the airport is definitely a bonus. The Club is elegant. Public areas are very beautiful and feature dramatic atrium-style architecture. September 29, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Rude front desk staff is will cause damage 1- the shuttle bus came too late to the airport after my phone calling witch cost me a lot of extra money 2. the driver was decent, polite and nice. he apologized although they give him the order too late..at last minute 3- the front desk person was too rude form first second. I asked him why the bus was too late.. he did not reply at all. I asked if there is chuttle bus to the train station next morning, with a very dray face and voice he said no.. the driver told me it is possible. but the front desk Staff looked at him with anger to the driver stopet talking 4. asked for upgrading of my room to club lunch floor.. he again with angry unpleasant face said no..its for only holder of paltium not gold holder (like we are too bad third class people). I M STAROWOOD MEMEBR SINCE OVER 10 YEARS.. SUCH PERSON CAN DAMAGE THE GOOD REPUATION OF THE HOTEL. HE SHOULD BE FIRED. it was ON Monday 24/2 AT APPROX 21.00 PM. February 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A wonderful place to stay This hotel is excellent...need I say anymore? The quality is very evident from the moment you are greeted by the staff and walk in. Facilities are really great (Gym, Spa, Pool etc). The gym has some state of the art equipment. Rooms are very comfortable with small kitchenette /bar. The views across the plains to the snow capped mountains are very compelling. Club lounge has to be one of the best we have used . Location is ideal with 5/10 min walk to Metro that takes you all across Madrid. Visited twice now and just booked a 3rd trip .....Fantasico May 9, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by In-room Internet VERY Poor The hotel is great. However, if you need to get work done, you can't depend on the internet. Really a shame, because the hotel and facilities are excellent. They need to seriously upgrade their internet service in-room. So, if you don't need to work, enjoy it. If you need to work, careful!
