Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Accommodations and Location We have stayed at this hotel multiple times and like the location and accommodations and amenities. March 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Value Overall very good value. Clean, comfortable, small room. Very friendly personable maid. Very good food. I just don't understand why the wait staff at the morning buffet has to be so rude. They often went out of their way to be crabby. November 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel was awesome The most important thing during my stay was the great staff at this hotel. Any time I needed them the service was prompt and courteous. The cleaning staff members always greeted us with smiles and a Aloha. Keep up the good work. December 20, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great location!!! A B-grade hotel in a great central spot. Yes the rooms are old, nothing flash, however they are very clean. Staff were very responsive. The lobby/pool/bar/restaurant is very modern and made up for the dated bedroom decor. A different food buffet every night with musicians playing both modern and Hawaiian music. Pool is in a great spot beside the bar. Great gym too!! Only setback were the lifts-it was an extremely busy weekend and we were on the 28th floor - took forever to get to the room but views of diamond head and ocean definitely worth it. Would stay again. Rated 2 out of 5 by This is a Sheraton? Can't believe this is a Starwood property. I'm a frequent business traveler (government employee), and have stayed here on a few occasions for short overnight stays, generally as a stopover for an international flight. Generally this is my "last resort" pick, when I can't find anything else at my per diem rate. Over the years this hotel has slid further into disrepair and the staff has slid with it. On my most recent stay the room smelled of mildew, the air conditioning was barely functioning, the shower fixture was loose and the sheets and pillows were threadbare and old. I chose the continental breakfast for my Platinum amenity. After waiting to be seated for 5 minutes at the nearly empty restaurant, I had some fresh fruit, yogurt and a hard-boiled egg from the buffet. I was told I would be charged for a full breakfast because of my inclusion of the the hard-boiled egg. I returned the egg to my surly waitress. Luckily this was just a one-night stay. If you are planning a vacation, I think you will be greatly disappointed with this hotel. There are many better options on Waikiki. October 19, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent location My husband and I really enjoyed the hotel, the morning pastries, and the location. Anything you needed was in walking distance. Our hotel was a few steps from the beach and viewable from our room. February 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Service Overall, great service. The only negative is that our room was an "older room" and it did not have a thermostat. During the day, we wanted the room colder, but could not control the temperature. August 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel Staff are very helpful and friendly and give great service. Overall an enjoyable experience and would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family. Definitly will be coming back again. March 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by fabulous location and great staff! We loved being able to walk across the street and lounge at the beach. The pool was well kept and in a great central location! Also, great workout facility with nice view of the pool! October 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent, excellent choice!! We just came back from Hawaii, I highly recommend this hotel, I just can't say enough about the excellent service we received, every aspect of this hotel is just great!!!. September 23, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great location but very outdated This hotel is in a prime location; easy to walk to the beach and restaurants and very close to Diamond Head. The cleaning staff was very thorough and got to our room early every day. However, when we arrived we had asked for a pool view, but also needed early check in because we were going to a wedding. The staff was able to provide a room promptly, which was great, but we were placed in the corner room next to a bunch of high school graduates. We had to be moved to another room because of the noise-this room was a city view because it was all that was available. We were told that the manager would contact us the next morning to work it out, but never got a call. We ended up calling and the only thing they did was drop our nightly rate down to the city view rate. The rooms need improvement big time! Wall paper is peeling off and turning brown and furniture is outdated. Overall, for the price and location it was acceptable, but nothing like the other Starwood hotels we have visited. Staff was friendly though so we can't complain too much. We would love to see this hotel get the attention that all the other Starwoods do! June 16, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Room facilities Please do not provide plastic and paper cups for drinking in the room. Please provided decent tea spoons. What you provided to us "cheapen" your Sheraton image ! January 9, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad category 5 Starwood Property Rooms - Very small and worn out Platinum Benefits - None, with no upgrades despite trying with upgrade nights Staff - okay Location and Views - poor on Waikiki June 23, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Best location on Waikiki Great location but the hotel needs some definite updating. The plumbing in the rooms is very old and worn. Leaks and the finish on the faucet is worn off. September 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheraton has always been exemplary There is good ambience beginning with the lobby, to the charming garden restaurant with great buffet and well chosen Hawaiian entertainers. October 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Staff was very helpful Staff assisted us in getting ealier access to complimentary suite so we could shower ahead of our flight after we had cehcked out. August 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by this Hotel is the best. The Hotel Accommodations were excellent, Reservation Staff, Front Desk Staff and Housekeeping Staff Excellent' January 10, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by This hotel has not great features Substandard compared with Sheraton Hotels in Australia October 28, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel has great features This hotel was located right in the center of everything. Awesome location, even though was one block from beach, we still had a Great view. Walking distance to shopping, Beach, Zoo, Aquarium. Also just so happened that the area for bus tours pick was just down the street. The hotel staff was amazing. There was a young lady hostess at the buffet restraunt that was remarkable. She diffently started our day off right each morning. We will diffently stay here again when we are able to take another vacation. thank you July 2, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Customer Service We had booked a room for 10 nights at Sheraton PK. After the first night of no sleep because of the backup signals from trucks loading and unloading supplies we inquired about changing rooms. We were told that all rooms were sold out but they would put us on a wait list in case something became available. To our surprise on the second day we received a call from June at the front desk that we could move to another room. She really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and always had a smile when we walked past. Our room was cleaned nicely every day and housekeeping staff very pleasant. Thanks again to June for making our stay most enjoyable. February 3, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Fifth Stay The grand old princess is showing her age and it appears the Sheraton is letting her go on as is until the planned remodel. I always stay here because of the location and the ease of parking. The beds are great as well as the linens but the towles are rather thin and rough. The hotel provided toiletries are third rate at best so it is advised to bring your own. the food is acceptable but seems to be a bit over priced based on other opportunities located very near by. Also, be advise that there is no designated smoking areas what so ever on the property. You have to go on the street if you plan to enjoy a cigar or have a cigerette. March 4, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by a 39.95 room at best having been a Starwood member for a couple of decades I was insulted and very unhappy with this hotel and room.I usually take most things in stride, but feel that I have earned my platinum level, the hotel needs to be closed and renovated immediately. Yes is is in Waikiki, but the rooms are so out dated and worn, that if they are to be sold it should be for no more than $39.95 a night. July 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! The Sheraton Princess Kaiulani is a wonderful hotel. This was my fourth time stay at the PK, and I enjoyed my stay immensely, as always. It is always a heartbreak when it is time to checkout of the hotel. The room, service, accommodations, and views are truly excellent. The PK is a magnificent Waikiki hotel. Each and every member of the hotel staff that I interacted with was as nice as possible. This hotel has the nicest and most accommodating staff members of any hotel that I have ever stayed. I hope to come back as soon as possible! Thank you, PK, for a wonderful and magnificent stay in Waikiki! Mahalo and aloha until I return! January 11, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Service! I attended a convention at a different hotel, but chose to stay at the Princess Kaiulani because of the cost savings. I was impressed with the quality of service from the front desk, the towel/chair kiosk, and the wait staff. I was always greeted with a smile. However, my room was not in the best of shape. The mirror in the bathroom had a large crack and had been taped over. The safe was not attached to the wall and nearly fell on my legs when I opened it. The walls were dirty and the wallpaper was peeling. The cleaning staff always had the bed made and plenty of towels for me, but I would have appreciated a more updated room. December 11, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Run Away The hotel is so old and beat up. The AC units must of had mold or something bad as I got a nasty sinus infection from the rooms AC. Our clothes stayed wet in the room when AC should be a de humidifier pulling moisture from the room. Furniture, bathroom and overcrowded elevators that took 10 min to get from top floor to main level, Stay across the street at the Moana. July 8, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel certainly does need its scheduled upgrade. I was told that this hotel was closing soon for a planned upgrade. It certainly is long overdue. I enjoyed my stay in Waikiki but did not find it relaxing due to the noise in my hotel room. I was on the 29th floor and had expected it to be quiet but far from it. There was noise from the street and also from the hotel elevators and guests in the room opposite. However, the lobby, pool and restaurant areas were lovely. The pool and restaurant staff were just great. Very efficient and very friendly. The ood was good and plentiful and the local was perfect. I am not a "sitting area the pool and beach person" so found the location ideal for sight seeing and shopping. January 17, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel doesn't understand Platinum level First you didn't have my reservation. Showed my Sheraton reply e-mail with reservation number. Still couldn't find, had to call central reservation. Took 30 min to get the reservation. Booked me am room, asked if it was on the preferred floor, was asked why - because I am Platinum level. Then took another 15 min to get me a room on the preferred floor. Went to room, AC didn't work, called guest services-20 rings later they answered, had maintenance come up and work on the AC. It started working, maintenance left, the AC stopped. Went to front desk asked to move - was told no. Responded that is how you treat you Platinum guest. After going into the back I was moved. Later in the day I stopped by the front desk asking if I get breakfast as a Platinum level - they had to go into the back and find out. Day before checkout I asked for late checkout time, told the person that I was Platinum level - they said no late checkout. I asked to speak to the Manager - front desk person went into the back then came out and said I could have 4:00pm late checkout. I wanted later, but knew your team wouldn't support so I accepted. You need to educate your staff to look for guest status and understand what that should get them. July 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome customer service and staff The hotel staff I worked with really were awesome, professional, personable and met all my needs (Karry Borges, Erin Lifty and Andrea Clarabal) all were great, helpful and seemed to enjoy their jobs.
