My husband and I really enjoyed the hotel, the morning pastries, and the location. Anything you needed was in walking distance. Our hotel was a few steps from the beach and viewable from our room.

Overall, great service. The only negative is that our room was an "older room" and it did not have a thermostat. During the day, we wanted the room colder, but could not control the temperature.

Staff are very helpful and friendly and give great service. Overall an enjoyable experience and would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family. Definitly will be coming back again.

We loved being able to walk across the street and lounge at the beach. The pool was well kept and in a great central location! Also, great workout facility with nice view of the pool!

The staff ignored or concerns at check in and during our stay. Having stayed at the SPK several times in the past we were quite surprised to have received such cold treatment.

This hotel is in a prime location; easy to walk to the beach and restaurants and very close to Diamond Head. The cleaning staff was very thorough and got to our room early every day. However, when we arrived we had asked for a pool view, but also needed early check in because we were going to a wedding. The staff was able to provide a room promptly, which was great, but we were placed in the corner room next to a bunch of high school graduates. We had to be moved to another room because of the noise-this room was a city view because it was all that was available. We were told that the manager would contact us the next morning to work it out, but never got a call. We ended up calling and the only thing they did was drop our nightly rate down to the city view rate. The rooms need improvement big time! Wall paper is peeling off and turning brown and furniture is outdated. Overall, for the price and location it was acceptable, but nothing like the other Starwood hotels we have visited. Staff was friendly though so we can't complain too much. We would love to see this hotel get the attention that all the other Starwoods do!

Please do not provide plastic and paper cups for drinking in the room. Please provided decent tea spoons. What you provided to us "cheapen" your Sheraton image !

Great location but the hotel needs some definite updating. The plumbing in the rooms is very old and worn. Leaks and the finish on the faucet is worn off.

There is good ambience beginning with the lobby, to the charming garden restaurant with great buffet and well chosen Hawaiian entertainers.

We had booked a room for 10 nights at Sheraton PK. After the first night of no sleep because of the backup signals from trucks loading and unloading supplies we inquired about changing rooms. We were told that all rooms were sold out but they would put us on a wait list in case something became available. To our surprise on the second day we received a call from June at the front desk that we could move to another room. She really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and always had a smile when we walked past. Our room was cleaned nicely every day and housekeeping staff very pleasant. Thanks again to June for making our stay most enjoyable.

The grand old princess is showing her age and it appears the Sheraton is letting her go on as is until the planned remodel.
I always stay here because of the location and the ease of parking. The beds are great as well as the linens but the towles are rather thin and rough. The hotel provided toiletries are third rate at best so it is advised to bring your own. the food is acceptable but seems to be a bit over priced based on other opportunities located very near by. Also, be advise that there is no designated smoking areas what so ever on the property. You have to go on the street if you plan to enjoy a cigar or have a cigerette.

The Sheraton Princess Kaiulani is a wonderful hotel. This was my fourth time stay at the PK, and I enjoyed my stay immensely, as always. It is always a heartbreak when it is time to checkout of the hotel. The room, service, accommodations, and views are truly excellent. The PK is a magnificent Waikiki hotel. Each and every member of the hotel staff that I interacted with was as nice as possible. This hotel has the nicest and most accommodating staff members of any hotel that I have ever stayed. I hope to come back as soon as possible! Thank you, PK, for a wonderful and magnificent stay in Waikiki! Mahalo and aloha until I return!

the room I was in, I guess was in the old side of the building because your AC does not work. I have called and a representative came and set the AC to the lowest but it was still hot in the room with the sliding door shut so I had to leave the doors open while we were there and slept.
We asked another representative who was walking by and asked him to check but I felt as if he had no time for us because we told him the problem that it is not blowing air out on a higher speed and he did try but I think we interrupted him to where ever he was heading off to because he was anxious to leave our room.

I had been warned about the change in this hotel since the years ago I had stayed here but I continued with my reservation and stay. most of my issues are on record but I don't think in all honesty I can recommend this hotel to anyone I know or hate for that matter. the front office/desk staff need a course on customer service as they do not know what that is and where there salaries originate. Rude and it is like you are bothering them when asking a question and the concierge - don't get me started. I guess I was not asking the right question like where is the Prada store. ..
The food and room service line - pitiful.
I am not going to go on. I am just sad about my whole stay.

I attended a convention at a different hotel, but chose to stay at the Princess Kaiulani because of the cost savings. I was impressed with the quality of service from the front desk, the towel/chair kiosk, and the wait staff. I was always greeted with a smile. However, my room was not in the best of shape. The mirror in the bathroom had a large crack and had been taped over. The safe was not attached to the wall and nearly fell on my legs when I opened it. The walls were dirty and the wallpaper was peeling. The cleaning staff always had the bed made and plenty of towels for me, but I would have appreciated a more updated room.

The hotel is in the heart of Waikiki .We had a great view over the pool and sea in the tower block.
Room was clean , bed extremely comfortable and balcony a plus.
Hotel staff efficient and extremely friendly.
5 minute walk to beach.

I was told that this hotel was closing soon for a planned upgrade. It certainly is long overdue. I enjoyed my stay in Waikiki but did not find it relaxing due to the noise in my hotel room. I was on the 29th floor and had expected it to be quiet but far from it. There was noise from the street and also from the hotel elevators and guests in the room opposite. However, the lobby, pool and restaurant areas were lovely. The pool and restaurant staff were just great. Very efficient and very friendly. The ood was good and plentiful and the local was perfect. I am not a "sitting area the pool and beach person" so found the location ideal for sight seeing and shopping.
