Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovely Hotel I stay at The Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel for the best reasons any tourist should stay at a hotel...to be treated with kind and courteous respect, and most importantly, to have a clean room with very nice accommodations while staying in a hotel. The staff will help you, and assist in your requests to make your stay comfortable. The dining options are great, whether you choose the buffet. or the Splash terrace dining area. Keep in mind, this hotel has made some upgrades to at least four upper level floors in the tower portion, and although other floors may appear to have age issues, it is still an immaculate environment to stay in. If you are not a snob, then older furniture will not phase you, but rather stir you sense of sentiment for the good old days when things were built to last. The beds are very comfortable and clean...plus, you will enjoy the balcony (lanai) no matter what room you stay in. Enjoy! August 17, 2016

We were warmly greeted by Christina at the Front Desk who handled check-in with efficiency, professionalism and an abundance of aloha. Our room was clean and well-appointed. We also experienced Te Moana Nui and recommend it highly as a showcase for Polynesian culture and regional cuisine. August 8, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Worthless resort fee Facility charges a mandatory "resort fee" for "some of the hotel's most sought-after amenities". You almost break even if you have a car, but, not having a car, I paid the fee to get 2 bottles of water and 250 points. It includes beach towels (you can buy 2 at the ABC store for $20 and take them home). I tried to get a towel after going in the ocean after a run so I wouldn't drip water through the lobby. Attendant wouldn't let me have one because I didn't have my room key. Like the airlines, they're just trying to make their rate look lower, then adding the money back on later. July 27, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Sadly, not recommended This is in a good location with a nice beach area. However the service of staff, selection of menus, responsiveness to needs was lacking across the board. Not felt welcomed. Poor signage to rooms which is like a labyrinth. The selection of available food options was very limited and the food was below expectations. It was a highly stressful location considering it was to be a vacation. Chatted to others, and experienced the same. July 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by My 2nd Favorite Hawaii Hotel Never a bad stay. Always look forward to staying here. As an SPG Platinum member I always feel welcomed and taken care of. Great central Waikiki location, close to beach, world class shopping and plenty of restaurants. Great customer service throughout entire hotel. My only negative about this location is the room furniture and some amenities are getting rather worn and are in need of updating, especially the bathroom. June 3, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Another spetacular stay - March 24-28 We always pick this hotel as one of our top picks when we visit Waikiki. Great location, wonderful staff and excellent hospitality. Got upgraded to a wonderful ocean-view room. Breakfast and dinner buffet were wonderful - their omelets at breakfast and prime ribs at dinner are always amongst the best that I have ever had. The hotel staff, from front desk to cleaning crew, always show passion and care for their guests and their work. I highly recommend this hotel for visits to Waikiki. March 29, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great location. Bad fixtures The hotel is in a great location and the staff has been very friendly and welcoming. The room on the other had was not to standard. The furniture was very dated. Dust was on the furniture. It was dirty in the edges of the carpet and behind nightstands. The AC unit in the room was noisy and the outlets in the bathroom turn off when you turn off the light. If you are looking for a modern or contemporary hotel stay away. I don't believe this hotel meets the Sheraton branding. Again, the staff was great, the rooming was not. March 15, 2016
