We checked in for my sons wedding at 11;45 PM thursday to be sent to room 366, which had a guest in the room. After calling down, they said no one should be in the room..well there was.
We eventually were moved to room 382..
Given a 5 hour drive, it just did not start out on a good fashion..

RELAXATION AND EXCELLENT FOOD AND VERY COMFORTABLE CLUB ROOM FOR WORKING.
CHECK IN REGISTRATION STAFF MUST BE CLEAR ABOUT THE ACTUAL CLUB ROOM.
WE MADE RESERVATIONS FOR CLUB LEVEL. UPON CHECK IN STAFF GAVE US A ROOM ON THE 3RD FLOOR? I QUESTIONED THAT BECAUSE WE HAD CLUB LEVEL HE ASSURED ME CLUB LEVEL IS 3RD AND 4TH FLOOR. HE FAILED TO STATE THE ACTUAL CLUB ROOM IS ONLY ON THE 4TH FLOOR.I FOUND OUT BY WALKING AROUND TRYING TO FIND THE CLUB ROOM ON THE 3RD FLOOR. FOR CONVENIENCE IT ONLY MAKES SENSE TO ME TO BE ON THE SAME FLOOR AS THE CLUB ROOM.
THE WAITSTAFF IN THE CLUB ROOM WERE GREAT, ATTENTIVE, AND FRIENDLY. THANK YOU EVERYTHING WAS VERY NICE. AND STAFF AT THE FRONT DESK WERE FRIENDLY AND PLEASANT AS WELL. ALL STAFF THROUGHOUT THE HOTEL WERE TRULY EXCEPTIONAL!!!

The room was comfortable and spacious. However, the bar/restaurant at the hotel was understaffed and slow on a Friday evening.

I was satisfied until check out when I inquired about whether the hotel offered a breakfast buffet. Before I was given the answer I was told the buffet wasn't free by the person checking me out.. I was quite annoyed that she assumed I thought it was free, so will that we just left after checkout. I travel extensively so I know what services are provided and whether they're complimentary or not...

I made this reservation for my parents. Staff and food are great but this hotel does not meet SPG expectations when it comes to cleanliness. The first room that was given to me had funky smell so I had to request for another room. Their linens are not as crisp and clean cand compared to other SPG chain hotels. This hotel also lack the SPG scent.

I travel a lot, I'm a gold member and I try to only stay at Starwood hotels and I will continue to.
That said... BOO HISS SHERATON!
The first room they put me in smelled like a 95 year old smoker had lived there for the past 45 years. Nasty. To the staff's credit they moved me immediately (thanks) to a different room albeit with a smaller bed... Sad.
Then I ordered some food. Or tried to, they no longer served the roast chicken with pear stuffing, but they had a chicken breast. I acquiesced. Unfortunately the chicken breast was really and truly awful. It was rubbery, covered in a thin brown liquid I can only assume was an attempt at gravy and a few small pieces of diced asparagus and slimy mushrooms. It in no way resembled what I had tried to order and it was gross.
Add to that the glasses strewn across the hall outside my room and the five or six room cleaning carts I had to dodge on the way I can say that while the room is fine and the bed is up to Starwood standards... The hotel needs a lot of work.
Oh yeah, and I got quoted 50 dollars more on the phone with Starwood reservations than the hotel was offering rooms for on their site.
This whole experience is leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
