Rated 4 out of 5 by TNCatsie122770 The hotel provides above average service.
My room had a lovely view of the lobby; and the hotel was quiet. I am very pleased that the hotel has quiet hours and children under 18 must be in their rooms after 11 PM. This is wonderful for business travelers when we require sleep. Room service was quick and prompt with my menu which was also delicious. I would recommend this location for easy access to the airport too.

The bar tender is always grumpy. Many people go elsewhere because of him.

Rated 3 out of 5 by KimH dissappointed
I was dissappointed overall with my stay. I had booked two rooms next to each other for one night at a rate of 95. When I called to book another night, I was told that both nights had to be increased to 110. The rooms were 4 rooms apart which was close but not next to each other, one room smelled. the beds were not comortable( I can sleep in a chair and ache less than I did after this bed), we asked for more towels and never did get them within the hour that we waited for them, and then the 10 dollar per day wi fi charge was dissapointing. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and being charged for wifi is a very chincy when you are paying over 100 dollars per night. Allowing that for free would have more customers returning which woud in turn boost your sales. There are much better values out there and we will be using them next time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by police3 menu is stale
i have been staying at this property for over two years. i'm not sure that the restaurant menu has changed. no specials, it's the same old "hotel food". so much, i'm ordering pizza delivery. even the club lounge's food is boring. far below that of other sheraton's that i stay.

I asked to be placed away from the elevator because it interrupted my sleep all night. Where did they put me?Next to the elevator. Linens were filthy and stained. Especially the bed skirt - yeesh - it was nasty. Check out rep neglected to even look at the bill at check out - Tried charging me three daily rates for one day of internet. Food was pretty poor at the restaurant - eggs were gross. Coffee was good. Rest of the hotel was fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mrtravel28 The place to stay in SD.
Great hotel for SD but a little behind for Sheraton Standards. Only once was I acknowledged as SPG member, and never in the Spg check in line. The club lounge attendant seemed to be more concerned with watching tv in the lounge rather than replenishing food and drinks. On my second stay my room was missing the bath scale and the light up mirror didnt work, and that was on club floor so I can only guess how the other floors look. Rooms are in need of upgrade. The bonus is that you can bring a dog with for no extra cost. Great gym, great pool and beautiful atrium. Overall good, but there is room for improvement.

I would recommend if you want a good night sleep, may I suggest not staying in a room facing the courtyard. The noise from the courtyard resonates throughout the room.

Ok hotel. room was clean, bed was comfortable and workout room had a pretty good quantity of nice treadmills and bikes. Not a great location in terms of nearby places to eat and had warmish water (never got hot) for all 3 days.

We recently stayed at the Sheraton in Sioux Falls,Sd.Overall a pretty nice stay. The lobby is lovely and the rooms are clean.Beds are a little firm for me and the sheets are plenty crisp. The breakfast buffet was ok,but for the price it included alot of items and your beverages. So if you didn;t like something ,try something else. The eggs were not very good on the buffet, but you could order a fresh omelette and that was very good.Would stay again.

Whirlpool foam was unbearable and dirty scumb noted around the hot tub too. Needs attention. Breakfast buffet was not worth $30 extra with my room. Disappointed with the buffet food selections and choices. Would not eat in the restaurant again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mrtravel28 Great place to stay
We of course stayed on the club level so I cannot comment on how the lower level rooms are but I was very satisfied with our stay. I only wish that the printer in the lounge wasn't so hard to operate. One has to read crazy directions to get the thing to work even though it is already locked in a club lounge. Also the breakfast could use more fruit and healthy foods. Greatest hotel in Sioux Falls though.

Staff was adequate. The rooms are well kept. The property itself is pretty nice. And connected to the convention center. Food was not good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by KBN3 Average rooms/higher price
Our stay would have been nicer if we would have had two queen beds like our room confirmation indicated instead of two doubles. The beds are very uncomfortable for two people and the rooms are large enough for two queens. The bathroom needed a little repair, tiles loose and chipping. A little room renovation is definitely in order. No free wi-fi in the room is definitely a negative.

Rated 1 out of 5 by soccermom2 Expensive amenities
Just because the motel is attached to the convention center/arena doesn't mean that you need to charge for everything....bottles of water in the room, internet. Also, I learned that it is standard to only have 2 towels in a room with a King size bed and a pull out couch.

I loved this room. I travel so much so a good bed and a quiet room are essential. This was perfect on all accounts. The room was nicely situated and I was on on concierge floor...worth it for sure! Loved the woman who served me breakfast and coffee in the presidential suite. Everyone is so friendly and attendtive. This hotel has a terrific gym and pool as well.
Food is average.

Negative: Very soiled carpet; draperies unhooked, check in process slow. Not an upgrade. Stressful because of noise in adjacent rooms. Management response to our needs minimal.
Good location, nice staff,
We have stayed at several lovely Sheratons. This was not one of them.

Rated 1 out of 5 Disappointing customer service
I checked into the hotel on 10/20/12, after reserving my room over the phone. When I arrived, there was no record of my reservation. And, given that there was a football game going and that it was the opening weekend of hunting season, there were limited rooms left. I ended up getting stuck with a more expensive room than I wanted to, without a word of an apology from the staff for the mix up (which ended up costing me an extra 150 dollars). They were obviously understaffed and were just looking to get everyone's issues dealt with. I see this as a major oversight of the management for not anticipating the volume of people. All in all, it led to a poor experience. I would not recommend this hotel to those looking for quality customer service.
