The atrium setup at this hotel is terrible, the 1st night we stayed it was so loud we could not fall asleep. it was because of the bar being in the middle of the atrium, the sound radiated up to all the rooms, we could hear all the laughs and screams of patrons getting drunk. never again! The transportation to get downtown sucked as well, too expensive for a cab.

James at the front desk was very rude and not helpful at all. Clearly he can't handle the stress of a busy weekend. Additionally, the housing keeping staff had a poor attitude. She was annoyed because she was ready to clean our room and we weren't out yet. We had requested extended check-out because we were in town for the marathon and unsure when we would finish, but it wasn't granted. She thought we weren't going to be out of the room by 12:00. We were out by 11:50 and let her know that we were gone. But still, it doesn't make people want to come back if all the staff treats you like they don't want you to be there.

To start out with a positive here, the staff in the restaurant and bar were fantastic. Thank you to Marv and Stacy.
However, I was visiting my sick mom at Dow Rummel across the street and came back to the Hotel after dark and there was no where to park. The female manager acted like I was putting her totally out by demanding they find me a place to park at a hotel I was paying for.
This also happened last visit to Sioux Falls. We love the convenience to Dow Rummel but I will be booking elsewhere next time. It is inexcusable to not have a parking place at a Hotel you are staying at.

This was our second time staying at the Sheraton, and we will definitely stay again. The staff was so nice and courteous. We asked for some additional pillows for our room and they were brought up quick and the gentleman that brought them was not only nice but funny too. Both stays have been very pleasurable and as cliche as it sounds, had the comforts of home. Thank you Sheraton for making our stay comfortable and memorable.

Best night sleep in quite a while. Very attractive lobby and very convenient to the Convention center. Would like to have a mini refrigerator. Laundry facilities need to be upgraded and signage to find it was non-existent. These are minor items though, and the staff was very prompt in handling any matters.

In this day and age good internet service is as important as having hot water or air conditioning. The room I was given (on the Club Floor) had absolutely no internet service ... zilch, nada. You could not even check email. We were planning to Skype with our grandchildren but this was impossible. The food served in the Club Floor was inedible. The fruit served at breakfast was dried out and tasteless. Saturday evening they served some kind of frozen Mexican roll ups that were burned on the bottom. The noise on the Club floor from kids running up and down the halls until early morning hours added to a most unpleasant stay. I would avoid this hotel.

I highly enjoyed my recent stay at the Sheraton Sioux Falls. The hotel is super convenient to the airport and has many great amenities. The shuttle service was friendly and very useful and all staff that I interacted with were highly professional, courteous and eager to assist me in any way. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I am back in the area.
