Rated 5 out of 5 by One of the best I have stayed at several Sheraton's and I must say that this was one of the cleanest hotels ever. The rooms were more up to date than Tampa, FL or Chattanooga, TN. May 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Memphis Sheridan Great Hotel - Best in the down town area for the price. The staff in all areas was outstanding. Everyone was very helpful and extremely polite. Excellent restaurant Very convenient access to the street car system. Will definately stay there again when in Memphis. May 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Stay/Great weekend/Great City I had been on a work project for two weeks and was about to spend two days driving home when my husband suggested we meet in Memphis for a weekend. I drove to meet him and he flew into Dewitt airport. Its a local general aviation airport that was located less than 5 miles away. We arrived at the hotel and it was bustling. The weekend just happened to kick off Memphis in May and the new Bass Pro was doing a grand opening. Everyone we encountered from the front desk, the valets, the bellmen, room service...etc...was exceptional. You can tell the staff wanted to be working. They were pleased to serve all the guest in a friendly manner. Our room was in the North tower and we overlooked the park and front driveway into the property. The room was brand new with back lighting on the bathroom mirror, a huge shower. Although we booked a king size bed, we were happy to receive the two doubles. We stayed with our little dog. We are really grateful to Sheraton for allowing pets. Our dog isn't noisy or cause allergies and travels well. We couldn't have stayed here if they weren't so accomodating with our pet. The town of Memphis was really reflected in the hotel. The young people working all had a sense of accountability and good attitudes. I got a sense that Memphis was enjoying great economy. We traveled down to Beale St. from the trolley behind the hotel. We ordered room service twice and both times we received it on time and very warm with all the items exactly as we ordered. We didn't visit the bar or the restaraunt just because when we were in the hotel, we were resting. Overall, you can tell the employees are inspired to serve you and take great pride in their work. I highly recommend this hotel for convenience and everything it has to offer in comfort and service. Also, I want to say I think it was very refreshing that I did not see one employee on their cell phone not one time while I was there. Nothing irks me worse than to see someone working and texting at my expense. May 4, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Understaffed food and beverage service I was there for 10 days, as part of a large conference, so the hotel knew a crowd would be there. The wait staff did the best they could, but couldn't keep up and so many people were turned away. In the bar, while waiting for a table, we were gruffly told to only order wine or beer or else we would wait 45 minutes and even then, I had to beg the waiter for a bill. No olives for martinis in the bar for a week, etc.Everything, extremely slow. Staff stressed out. April 27, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Service Tommy with the bell service was amazing, he went above and beyond for us. The restaurant needs a little more attention not that many options but still good food. It would have been better if there was a hot tub though but still an amazing stay. Parking is a little pricy for guest's though. April 7, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Overall a dissapointing experience I reserved a club corner room for 3 nights on 03/03/15 for a stay 03/24-03/27. Upon arrival (after prepaying a premium price for a club level corner room)l I was told there were no rooms on the club floors and was relegated to a room on the 10th floor. I was told my room key would allow me to go to the club floor. The room key would not initially let me into my room until I slammed my shoulder against the door on about the fifth try. I returned to the front desk and the room keys were re-done. (The door to our room never worked on the first or second try for our entire stay). Later, upon entering the club lounge for the nightly appetizers and wine/beer, I was informed that if I wanted a glass of Trinity Oaks wine it would be a $6.00 charge on my room tab. Having worked in the wine industry I knew this wine cost @$6.00 a bottle, so I left, disappointed once again. Paying a premium price for access to the club lounge, I think it is rather presumptuous of you to charge anything for a glass of wine, especially one of this caliber. After our 1st night stay we put our used towels on the bathroom floor so they would be changed. We returned at 6:30 PM, and the room had not been refreshed at all, so we called housekeeping and they finally had the room cleaned by 8 PM. After our second night stay, we returned to the hotel @ 6:30 PM, and were getting undressed when someone at our door used a passkey to enter our room. The woman who opened the door and came into the room asked why we hadn't checked out. I told her we were confirmed for three nights, and she asked if we were staying for a third night. No excuses for barging in on us, and no explanation at all for not even knocking before entering. Rude! Upon checkout on the morning of 03/27, the person at the checkout counter produced our bill, which included a charge for valet parking. Since we had NOT used valet parking during our stay they finally removed that charge. However, after returning home I received an email from the hotel for the total charges which still included the valet parking charge. It is safe to say that we will not be returning to this Memphis hotel. We have stayed in other Sheraton properties over the years, and this stay was the most disappointing of all of them. Rated 5 out of 5 by I would do it again and recommend! I have stayed in many hotels. However, after getting up at 3am for my flight and long travel with long layover times, I was in awe with the service I received upon my arrival on March 6, 2015. With heavy snow on the ground, the concierge waited as I paid the cab, just to ensure I did not slip. The front desk saw I was tired, smiled and said she will try to get me to my room quickly. Then here it comes, I got to my room and I just happened to see housekeeping outside my door. I was disappointed to myself saying, 'I can't believe they are still preparing my room when the front desk said it was ready'. She smiled as I approached, bid me the time of the day, and then I opened my door. My jaw dropped, Wow, I said and quickly got a tip and headed out my room to find her. She had turned on all the lights in the room, prepared the heating, and left a special welcome note with my name. Never in my 15 year travel history had this happened. The rest of the stay was similar, from special service from Dennis the Sales Manager to Andrea in Dining. I would highly recommend this hotel. PS.The water in the room is actually free. Smiles.
