Rated 1 out of 5 by SeasonedTraveler55 Extremely Disappointed
When I checked in I was impressed with the overall look of the lobby and cleanliness. Little did I know that it ended there. The majority of the staff had bad attitudes and should not be in the hospitality business. With the exception of a few staff, most looked putout and like they did not want to be there. The restaurant service was horrible and over priced. The bed and bedding were great but the guest room could not have been dusted in weeks or months. Lots of dust on everything and fingerprints and smudges on the glass furniture. Lastly, there was one small bar of soap in the bathroom for face and body.

Rated 1 out of 5 by damage EVEN THE SHEETS HAD NOT BEEN CHANGED!
I checked in very late after a Very exhausting day of travel to find that my 1st room had no heat! Tried calling front desk and I was on hold for 10 minutes yet called direct from my cell and they answered right away. Got a new room where there was only 1 towel, no coffee, dirty bathtub and bathroom floor, and a bed that had already been slept in!!! The next day I asked them to clean my room and told them all the problems and all they did was change sheets and leave towels!! Didn't even empty trash! Called for coffee...never delivered as promised! 3 hours later I ask maid in the hall for some and got it. 10pm at night there was loud talking and screaming in the hall and door slamming and at 10:40pm there is a vacuum running next door! I come to find out ALL of the noise had been housekeeping THIS LATE AT NIGHT! I called front desk and they ask me "am I SURE it's housekeeping?" Like customers bring vacuums to hotel? Perhaps we should to this hotel as it was THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT!!!! Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by AMLB Sheraton Memphis is outdated, dirty and lacks amenities.
The Sheraton Memphis is outdated, dirty and lacks several amenities offered by other hotels. The clerk at check-in wouldn't take the time to look up my SFG number, even though no one else was waiting for service. The room had been serviced by housekeeping, however, several pieces of furniture were dirty and the bathroom needed a deep cleaning. Dust was built up on the light fixtures and shelving under the sink. I liked the $5 vouchers for choosing the environmentally friendly option. When I went to the breakfast buffet to use the vouchers, there were ants all over the table in the Magnolia restaurant. When I pointed them out to the server, his only response was that the hotel was working on their bug problem. I moved to another table, without the server offering that as an option, and that table had ants , too. Overall, I was dissatisfied with the Sheraton Memphis and will not choose to stay there again and will likely look at other hotel chains in other cities as well.

I was told that the only available parking was valet and found out later that wasn't true. Got to my room and the door knob was almost impossible to open. Finally got inside and the drapes were stuck shut on all but one tiny window. The room was arranged with the TV to the left side of the bed, way too far from the couch and behind the desk so it wasn't comfortable to watch from anywhere in the room. The shower curtain has no weights or magnets and so makes showering difficult.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesomestay I would do it again and recommend!
I have stayed in many hotels. However, after getting up at 3am for my flight and long travel with long layover times, I was in awe with the service I received upon my arrival on March 6, 2015. With heavy snow on the ground, the concierge waited as I paid the cab, just to ensure I did not slip. The front desk saw I was tired, smiled and said she will try to get me to my room quickly.
Then here it comes, I got to my room and I just happened to see housekeeping outside my door. I was disappointed to myself saying, 'I can't believe they are still preparing my room when the front desk said it was ready'. She smiled as I approached, bid me the time of the day, and then I opened my door. My jaw dropped, Wow, I said and quickly got a tip and headed out my room to find her. She had turned on all the lights in the room, prepared the heating, and left a special welcome note with my name. Never in my 15 year travel history had this happened. The rest of the stay was similar, from special service from Dennis the Sales Manager to Andrea in Dining. I would highly recommend this hotel.
PS.The water in the room is actually free. Smiles. Get booking, great rate.

My wife and I stayed here on a drive from New Orleans to Chicago. After a 6 hour drive you need a clean, updated room and a great bed for some recuperative sleep. The room was pretty dated and needed a little further attention to detail on the cleaning side. Musty old wall paper doesn't cut it at these prices. The bed was ok, (though not what I usually expect from a Sheraton)but I was awoken in the night by an insect crawling across my face. When I popped up and reached for a lamp, but the first two I tried had burnt out light bulbs. All this and having to pay an additional fee for parking means we will not be returning to this spot.

My husband and I flew in to spend our daughter's birthday with her. She was at the UPTA auditions. The hotel was filled with actors, lots of commotion. Yet, the staff was incredibly warm, helpful and even attentive to the birthday girl. From the front desk staff to the cleaning staff, everyone was lovely. A specific round of applause and thanks to David, the food services manager, who created a special gluten free birthday celebration for us. We were blown away. Keep him and all your employees. They represent you and your chain well!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Notsohappy1 Worst Sheraton I ever stayed in
Sheraton usually has been such a great hotel for me. Got in my room and there was trash in every can. Nothing seemed up to standard. Then when I talked to the supervisor, the room got cleaned and the next morning I got asked by the maid if the room was " perfect" very sarcastically! Luckily my company was picking up the bill as I was transferring to Memphis, otherwise I would have complained a lot more. Very poor showing for Sheraton and I have another stay at a Sheraton in just a few weeks. Hopefully much better!
