Rated 4 out of 5 by Hdrdqueen Great hotel for the price.
This hotel is currently under construction. When I booked this room back in Feb. 2014 no one said anything about it. The upgrades are probably needed, but should tell your customers in advance so there is no surprises. The lobby was a make shift and most employees were very helpful and accommodating. The drinks in the Trolly bar were very expensive. The valet garage was great and secure. We had 14 motorcycles, the only thing is the garage smell like urine. Yuck! The staff was very nice. The cleaning of the rooms..none..at 6 pm at night the housekeeper asked us if we need anything, at that point clean towels were given, no room cleaning! Would stay again though.

Rated 2 out of 5 by kk11 this hotel was terrible
was so unhappy with this property. First of all its under renovation Could not access from the street had to walk around corner to enter and not in a desirable area at night. My room was extremly hot even though I had AC turned as low as it would go at 65 degrees.
Had a bad experience, after checking in in the afternoon I showered and went out for dinner came back to my room around 8 pm and realized someone had been in my room, because the towels i used and bath mat were gone but not replaced, nor was the trash emptied. I did not expect anyone from housekeeping to be in my room there was no need. My personal belonings and pocket book were in the room and I felt violated that housekeeping appartently entered my room when I had just checked in a few hours earlier..

Rated 1 out of 5 by debbie1525 We should have been informed of the renovations
My daughter booked 15 rooms at this hotel for approximately 30 people coming in from out of town for her wedding and was not informed of the impending renovations. The lobby of the hotel was a shambles and not what we wanted for our out of town guests. We should have been informed of the renovation work at the time of booking and had a chance to book rooms under those conditions or not. This information was clearly withheld and I intend to send a letter to someone at Starwood informing them of this

The Renovations were noisy upon arrival. Jack Hammers were loud - like we were out in the streets during construction. The front desk staff was new. Her computer was down. Next staff gave us a great corner room with lots of windows. We had to ask for the upgrade. The hotel should of gave us free breakfast or free bus passes since the trolley was under maintenance was well. The location is 9 blocks from Beale street. Downtown has NOTHING to offer. No Shopping, nothing!! Taxi from airport is $30. Far away! Food was far away too. No good restaurants in location.

Great location on Capitol Hill and easy walking to entertainment. Staff was helpful particularly Melvin in the Club Lounge. He was friendly, accommodating, and provided good recommendations for restaurants in the area.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MrFixit2 Checkout was not good.
I understand that many people were checking out at the same time but checkout was extremely slow. Also, I had to show my hotel receipt to prove that I had paid for valet service to get my car delivered. It made me feel like I was a criminal and trying to cheat the hotel.
I stayed at the same hotel in 2013 when it was another hotel chain and thought it was a much better experience than this year when it was a Sheraton.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Scooter14 This hotel has good features
Rooms should have microwave and refrigerator. There needs to be more food choices (restaurants). I also feel the parking fees are excessive. Our room was never cleaned before 4:00 pm. On the good side, room and beds were comfortable, price of rooms was reasonable and definitely liked the access to the Convention Center. Having trolley/bus stop also a plus.
