Rated 5 out of 5 by A great stay Our stay was wonderful, but too short. We stayed on the club level and found everything beyond satisfactory. The beds were heavenly. Much better than my bed at home and the room was large and well kept. Amenities were plush. The most important thing that made our stay delightful though, was the staff. They were so very welcoming and helpful. When we mistakenly thought the safe was locked, they sent a security guy right up to show me we had to tug a bit harder on it than I had. He went out of his way to ensure I didn't feel stupid over that. When my friend could not find the toothbrush she thought she packed, the front desk was right up to our room with a brand new one AND toothpaste. Everyone smiled and offered assistance (though someone did misdirect me to the wrong tower where I found you could not get there from here.) We were fed all weekend at our conference so didn't try the restaurant. But the catering with the conference was delicious and the wait staff were perfect at being there to refill serving stations or to help when we needed them. Otherwise they stayed unobtrusively nearby. And the coffee was so delicious, rich and smooth. We stayed here due to a conference we were attending. I did look at the reviews and was surprised by the level of negativity. I had a completely wonderful experience. My only thought is that people complain much more often than they praise. Rated 3 out of 5 by I won't be coming back I was staying at the Sheraton for our annual writers' conference and while everyone on staff at the hotel was fantastic, I was disappointed with the facilities. Starting with the room, there wasn't a fridge, which I feel is mandatory in a business hotel and wireless wasn't free in the rooms--the bathroom was cramped and the glass shower door didn't move, so I had to step into the bathtub to turn on the water, rather than standing on the tile next to the faucet. On my first morning, housekeeping knocked on my door at 7:15 am repeatedly without saying "housekeeping" and left me a gift of two rolls of toilet paper by my door--apparently someone had phoned in a TP request and it wasn't me. Although I know about your "green" policy, the bed was made, but the floor wasn't vacuumed, and the bathroom wasn't cleaned--I've never had this happen to me. The door to my balcony was stuck. For the facilities, the doors to many of our conference rooms got stuck and extreme force was needed to push them open. The mayo in the chicken made me ill and the drinks at the bar tasted funny because the glasses still had dishwashing soap in them. At breakfast, shrimp had been mixed in with the eggs and I don't know if this was intentional, but it was gross-smelling. November 24, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Dirty, unorganized hotel My stay was disappointing. The hotel was dirty. There was debris on the floor the entire stay, food trays outside doors for over 24 hours, blood on my sheets, bathroom was moldy and stains on the door. The staff was very slow to respond. They forgot to place my dinner order at the bar (they did say sorry and paid for it). Only 2 elevators worked and the button to the elevator on my floor was broken so I would have to press the up button and ride all the way up to go down to the lobby.I commented but it was never fixed after 3 employees said they would fix it. It was a bad experience. Will never stay there again. October 6, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Left Underwhelmed Upon arrival at 5pm, the three king size rooms were not available. Immediately the guy checking us in wanted to down grade us. When asked why they weren't ready, he replied "Honestly, it is because of the housekeeping staff. They really are horrible and I am over it". Nice right? Restaurant was mismanaged and very dysfunctional, slow and almost rude at times. Food was good though. Bathroom was very small...smallest toilet I have ever seen and it was hard to turn on the shower and get the water adjusted without getting totally drenched as you had to reach around this horrible glass wall which made you climb into the tub to reach the faucet. Rated 3 out of 5 by Okay but Nothing to Write Home About Checked in on a Sunday evening. Had a bit of a wait as there was only one person working the front desk. Was upgraded to a deluxe room, which was marginally larger. The renovations are certainly a heck of a lot better, but there is always a limit given the existing physical plant. My room was comfortable, particularly the bed, but the bathroom was not well cleaned, and was very small. Only two of the elevators were operational, as the renovation continues, which led to long waits for a ride. Nothing horrific, but not terribly compelling either. October 9, 2014
