Rated 5 out of 5 by Service is Unbelievable!! We are staying at the Sheraton because our home is being renovated and this place is wonderful. It is not the newest hotel Sheraton has to offer, but the staff makes up for the differences. From the house keeping staff to the front desk, to the concierge, to the engineers, this place is great. If I could, I'd take them home when I leave here. And Dimitri and his front desk are unbeatable. We have decided to make this our home away from home. Great Job!! October 11, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointing Stay - Trying other Sheratons I am a regular at this property, my last stay was fraught with numerous issues, if I had not known better, I would have thought I was in a Seinfeld episode! I arrived and was promptly checked in, although no mention of being a platinum member nor was I asked about amenities. I was promptly provided a parking pass and my key to the room. When I arrived on my floor, the key was not activated. I had to go downstairs and had to wait in line as there was only one person on the desk and had to wait in line again to get my key activated. I proceeded to my room, once again to drop off my luggage and head to the lounge for some water bottles and then head downtown to a meeting. When I got to the lounge the key was not activated for the lounge and lo and behold, i had to go downstairs again to get this corrected. No apologies, no mention of correction, nothing and again I need to wait in line and asked for ID from the same person who served me prior! I then headed to my car in the parking lot and proceeded to insert my ticket and again, not activated. I have to go stand in line again!! This time I had to wait 15-20 minutes and there was a line forming behind me and only one person at the desk!! This was the worst experience I have ever had at this hotel and I am a fairly regular client staying at least 2-3 nights per week, twice a month. Each and every visit, I am asked if I have been at the property before.....it's embarrassing! October 1, 2013

I had bad timing on arrival where a large group was ahead of me. There was no delineation from the standard and Gold/Platinum line. September 26, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Upscale and comfy From check-in to check-out my overnight stay here was great. The staff were courteous and friendly. The rooms are gorgeous, finishes and textures are rich and warm; I wish I had more time just to spend in this great room. Staying as a prefered guest definitely payed off here, saving my $$$ on both wifi internet, breakfast (which was very good), and the hors devours. My only suggestion would be to have the same bottled beer in the lounge as in the bar downstairs. September 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel... In general the place is exactly what you expect from a hotel. I was there for a conference. Probably the biggest disappointment was the wireless internet for which they charge $9.95, especially since I have stayed at other Sheraton and it worked well. It will work in the lounge area of the room, but not in the bedroom. Also, the speed was horrible when I was conencted that I could not remote connect to my work. Their IT oncall support staff were useless and informed me that someone would contact me in the next couple of hours...no call received. September 12, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by hotel nice Food AWFUL I like the hotel but the Food is AWFUL eat next door at McDonalds it is 100 times better and I hate McDonalds. Harry Carry and Nicks Fish House is great but expensive but food is so much better across the street at the Shoeless Joes and the Mom n Pop Restaurant. They need to invest in a better chef at the hotel. September 6, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Friendly club lounge staff I visited this hotel with some friends for a friend's wedding in a nearby suburb. Yesenia in the club lounge truly made our stay. She always greeted us with a warm welcome and really made sure we were well informed of everything the club lounge has to offer. I even noticed her providing another couple with a list things to do in the area. I feel as if she truly went above and beyond with her role and want to thank her for the wonderful hospitality and customer service. August 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bachlorette Party We only stayed one night as the central location for everyone to meet for a bachlorette party. We loved the room, great space in bedroom in back and living room up front with everything you could need. We requested a table and chairs for a project in the room and it was delivered on time. We had 9 people in the room at one point and had plenty of space in the living room to enjoy cocktails and food. After everyone left, we enjoyed the comfortable beds and relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely come back here instead of a hotel in the city with the ridiculous prices and small rooms. We did not care about the view, just plenty of room, comfort and great price. We got all three and more here. Great staff and hotel!! Thanks for making the night perfect. August 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Have your wedding reception here! I just had my reception here at the end of July and LOVED it. The ballroom was recently renovated and looks very nice, if a little plain. However when you turn the lights down and have candles lit and all the decorations and centerpieces, it’s gorgeous, I promise! The chairs are very comfy, too, even for larger guests. We had 14 tables (8-10 people) plus a head table and the room looked comfortably full. You could definitely fit more than that without feeling crowded (or have less and still not look empty). Beka, the event coordinator, was fantastic. She responded to every email promptly, even giving suggestions for when/how to do things. We gave her all of the place cards, table runners, centerpieces and everything before we left for the ceremony and she set up everything for us so it was perfect when we arrived. I can’t say enough about how helpful Beka was throughout this whole process. During the reception she was on hand to handle any problems, and the rest of the staff was also super helpful (like when my matron of honor ran out to request they start serving food immediately because I could tell the speeches were going to get long, they immediately brought out the soup! Or like when my mom wanted a drink right after the bar closed for dinner and the waitress brought her a glass!). They stored our flowers in the fridge the night before the ceremony for us, and brought us mimosas the morning of the wedding! The Sheraton offers package deals which include dinner, open bar, cake, and overnight hotel stays. It was so worth it to do this package and not have to deal with all the separate vendors! We got the less expensive package, but then added hot appetizers to it and it fit our needs well. My guests complimented the dinner—which the staff worked with us on to provide a yummy vegetarian option for (since I’m a vegetarian); we weren’t limited in the number of meal options either, which was great. (Some guests also had dinner at the restaurant the night before and the next morning and said it was great—the breakfast buffet in the morning struck me as a little pricey, though, and one guest said he found a complimentary continental breakfast on a different floor, which would be worth clarifying.) The bar was great, although the beer selection was a little limited. The cake was from Oak Mill Bakery and was beautiful!!!! (You do have to go to the bakery separately to choose your cake, even though it’s included in the price.) The only problem we had was with the room block for our out of town guests. Since we didn’t give the hotel an estimate of how many rooms we would need in the block, they started it small and said they would add rooms when it filled up. Except they didn’t. We had to call/email three different times in order to ask them to add rooms so people could get the wedding rate. (One desk clerk told a cousin she’d have to switch rooms halfway through the weekend because there weren’t enough rooms left in the block!) Once we contacted them, they always took care of it right away, though, so a very minor glitch in my book—and one that can be solved by giving a better estimate of how many rooms you need from the start. They gave the wedding rate for 3 nights before and after, and they waived the parking fee as part of the event package! You should take pictures in the hotel lobby too—It’s so cute, with cozy couches and lampposts! The rooms were all very nice. Soft, comfy beds. Each room is a suite, so there was plenty of room for us to get ready for the church at the hotel—the photographer and hairdresser and all of us girls fit just fine! So many good things I could say about this place. I hope you choose them! And wherever you go, I would recommend getting a package deal like this, since (not having a wedding planner), it made my life so much simpler, having everything basically go through one person. We had our ceremony in the city at 5pm on a Saturday, so getting into the city from the hotel took a while. But after the ceremony traffic just flew and our guests were able to make it back very quickly. August 8, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Uncomfortable The hotel and rooms are visually is nice. But we had issues with the air conditioning in the rooms. Had to move rooms after complaining. Which still didn't help other than be inconvienced in playing musical rooms. Didn't know that on site parking includes parking structure almost 2 blocks down on a NOT well lit street. Just a VERY uncomfortable stay while on a girls weekend vacation. August 8, 2013

I also had dinner in the restaurant and it was yummy and the service was very good - they anticipated my needs and had some recommendations based on my questions. Rated 5 out of 5 by TLC extended by front desk staff I arrived at the Sheraton after a 4 day road trip with my son from WA state, exhausted and emotional after finishing the trip in the midst of Chicago rush hour & experiencing a stressful blow up with my son, the driver, as we arrived. He continued on to DC & I flew home the next morning. Jurial (sp?) at the front desk noticed my state. After settled in, she sent me a hand written note of comfort along with a bowl of soup and bottle of water. Now that is outrageous service! Thank you. July 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding Service Could not have been happier with our stay at this hotel. The staff was absolutely amazing. Claudia in the club lounge, Susan (blonde) at the front desk, and Eugenia (spelling?) in the club lounge were all above and beyond in customer service. These three ladies should all be recognized for their outstanding service. I don't think I have ever had better service anywhere!! After a long day of travel from overseas, they made me and my children feel welcome, safe and happy. THANK YOU!! July 19, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by they replaced the pool with a banquet room I have stayed here before with my family and while it was nothing special, there was decent room (its all suite - rebranded from an all suite brand). When i got there i was amazed to find that they had taken out the pool and put in a fairly dingy banquet center. massive diasppointment for the family. There are other properties all around which have a pool. Also TV remote and wireless handset on phone didn't work. if i was there on my own perhaps i would consider it. Probably not. With a family - not a chance. Positive note the person servicing the room did a great job and went out of their way. i was impressed tehre. July 15, 2013
