The room was nice and housecleaning did an excellent job. We chose to stay in a club level room because it had Internet available. The internet worked great 4 out of 6 days, but the last two days we could not Skype our children because it said the internet connection was too slow. At $10 per day for Internet we needed it to work. It was unseasonabley cold in California during our stay and the heater in our room just blew cold air even after the hotel engineer looked at it. We always had to wear a jacket or sweater in the room and I came home with a cold. The business center is a joke and nothing more than a glorified Internet surfing station where you can check facebook and YouTube. I needed to remote into an outside PC to retrieve a document and couldn't do it because their PC's are so locked down. I was able to do this from my room and email it to myself, but when I opened the document through email to print it there was no way to adjust the image size so it ran off the paper and I was not able to complete my business transaction. The hotel staff could not help either and the closest actual business center is almost 3 miles away. If you are planning on using the business center to do actual real world business tasks don't count on it. Other than those items the staff was very nice and professional. The wireless guest, conference and lobby networks all block services such as Skype so you cannot use it from a wireless device.

I enjoyed almost every aspect of this hotel. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The food was excellent. The gym was suitable for my needs. The only bad experience I had was dealing with the elevator and the front desk's response to my complaint. I got stuck on the 5th floor because I think I didn't put the card in right, I'm not sure what happened, but the elevator literally did not move for five minutes. I started to panic and called downstairs. They did not seem to care. Somehow the elevator did go back downstairs. I let the incident go. The next day, another woman had a similar experience. When I told the front desk person, another front desk person who was walking by, interrupted us and said in a rude, matter of fact tone, "it's because she didn't put the key in correctly." I told her that it had happened to me and I thought I had put the key in correctly, and she gave me attitude and said, "well you probably didn't." Whenever you don't put the key in correctly, it automatically goes to the 4th floor. I felt totally invalidated. The woman that I had actually gone to talk to was nice and said, "well I"m sorry you had that experience." At least she tried. However, after that, I was hesitant to let any staff know my needs because I did not want to be rebuffed. I have never been talked to that way before from a hotel staff knowing how important customer service is (esp at a Sheraton). Otherwise, everyone and everything else was great. I would definitely come back but I did want to alert management about this situation and encourage them to remind their staff about customer service (and their elevator!).
