Only positive was great food and location. Room was not ready at check-in, was dirty when we did finally get in, dirty dishes piled outside of door ,furniture was in horrible condition, black mold on the carpet near bathroom and bathroom filthy. A/C in poor working order, Staff not very unhelpful and rude at check out. Not an experience that I will ever repeat.

I stayed at this hotel (summer 2016) because it was the official conference hotel for a national organization to which I belong. From the start, I encountered problems: rude reservations staff (the night reservations person hung up on me); broken escalators and long elevator wait times; grungy rooms. We were told that during our stay, almost all of the staff was new; I hope this includes management. The front desk staff was pretty friendly. The housekeeping staff was EXCELLENT, and they were friendly even though they seemed to be understaffed (our rooms weren't serviced until very late in the day -- sometimes as late as 3:30pm). However, I would not stay here again unless it was the only choice. It's not the worst hotel I've stayed in, but for the cost, it does not deliver. Lest you think that I am just complaining, I can tell you that talk of the hotel's poor showing was common among the conference attendees.

we were in town for the World of Bluegrass and were so glad we chose to stay at Sheraton Raleigh downtown. We found all of the staff to be ready to address any of our needs. We will not stay in any other hotel when visiting Raleigh. The facility has been refreshed and the rooms are very comfortable and up to date. We will try to find another fun Raleigh event in order that we may visit the hotel again. The attached restaurant Jimmy V's is a fun place to meet friends.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JYBS Staff was outstanding, but lack of amenities was a disappointment
We selected Sheraton because of your reputation. The staff couldn't have been better, but we were disappointed that there was no free breakfast or wifi or parking included. All these things were extra and unanticipated expenses. We will select one of your competitors next time, one which we have frequently used that have these expected amenities included in the price.

Our understanding was the room we had, on one of the club floors, was recently renovated. It was average. For the cost we paid I expected someth n much better. Access to the club room was a plus however, that was disappointing. The food was average but the fact that we had 24 hour access to beverages abandoned snacks was nice. The staff was great. Check in and out was a breeze. The young lady who helped us was very friendly and the young woman in the club room was very personable. Overall the experience was less than we expected. We will probably not stay at a Sheraton again unless we have no other options.

I have stayed here many times and I am never disappointed. This hotel is a short walk from everything downtown and is always clean and comfortable. On my most recent stay, I wanted to recognize Joseph at the check in desk for his friendly and welcoming attitude at check in. He made our experience much more enjoyable. Keep up the good work!
