This hotel is everything an upscale grand hotel should be -- great lobby, great pool, great staff, great rooms, and great attention to details. Excellent location for downtown access, Airport Express bus, and Metro.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour, la très grande disponibilité du personnel, la courtoisie, l'empressement . La nourriture excellente, l'hébergement dans une chambre très confortable.

Booked two rooms for my parents and my brother for their visit to Canada.
Fron desk check in process was very prompt and courteous. We got two adjacent rooms, which was great for family stay.
The club lounge was well staffed and equipped. Just noticed the menu was not as good on weekends, vs. week days.
Also the billing was not refkecting the "birth year" rate at first, and had to straightened out upon check out.
In addition, only got points for one room spending, and had to wqrk with SPG to get the points for the second room spending.
So the accounting / starpoint credit department seems the weakest link there.
Overall, a great stay.

I reserved a room with a friend on my SPG number and was billed the full deposit. The roommate was given credit for half the deposit causing issues at check-out. She registered with SPG on arrival and was recognized as the primary guest from then on. Staff ignored my 5 year history and my name. I checked in early and the full cost of the room without the sharing or deposit, plus "incidentals" was processed on my credit card tying up my full credit available. Undoing this fiasco at check-out was time consuming and almost impossible. We stood at the checkout for about 45 minutes will no offer of a chair despite my saying that I could not stand that long. I expect much more from Preferred Guest membership.

Rated 2 out of 5 by TC12 What happemed to the Sheraton?
The overall quality of the Sheraton in Montreal has dropped greatly. In the top floors you always got glasses not plastic things( that leaked) They used to provided good quality amities (shampoo, hand cream etc.) Now it's the same old. When I made a comment I received a parcel of "stuff" that would sink a battle ship, and two real glasses. I am a loyal user for many years this trip I was very disappointed.

Stayed at this hotel this past week for work. Everything was fine until the day before I left. I came back to my room and my phone charger was missing. Called the front desk that night and they said that they would call me back in the AM and leave a message. They didn't. I called in the morning for a follow-up and they said they'd call me back in an hour. They didn't. Went downstairs to check out and had the front desk call. Denied removing anything. With the amount of money I'm spending on this place, do you think I'm trying to be shady about a phone charger that was clearly plugged into the lamp outlet? I don't like staying at places where my personal items are moved and/or removed from the room.

We arrived at the hotel 15 min prior to check in during the Easter long weekend. The room wasn't ready for my family and as a goodwill gesture, they provided complimentary internet access for the duration of our stay. They said the room would be ready within 45 min, but we ventured to Vieux Montreal instead of spending our precious time waiting for it. The room is well furnished and clean. LIkewise, the pool and exercise facilities are too. My son really enjoyed the water. Only negative comment about the change room is that they don't have a blow dryer.
The hotel is situated in close proximity to the Central Station, shopping, dining and many tourist sites.
Overall, I'm pleased with Le Centre Sheraton and would definitely return in our next visit to Montreal.
