FIrst Sheraton/Westin in a long while that hasn't really met expectations.
1] When registering I was asked about Green choices, and opted in. Despite this, the next morning housecleaning showed up bright and early at my door - apparently message didn't get through. I then had to argue with guy at desk at check out for my measly 500 points.
2] I opt for green choices but do need refreshed in room coffee packets - I had to call and they delivered - just one.....
3] WIthout warning the Club Salon was closed to the public one night - private function. No drinks or hors d'oeuvres - again, petty but .....
4] No hot water in BR sink tap (or at least after running for 5 minutes there was still no hot water)
5] Internet - a pain to have to log in again and again, apparently every time my laptop went to sleep or shut down.
6] I registered for a hotel+parking package. At checkout they tried to charge me for parking and then didn't seem to believe me when I told them the package I had registered in under.

The concierge, Ingrid, was very helpful The Club Lounge and Spa staff were professional..Short walk to nightlife on Crescent St.

Recently stayed at Sheraton in Montreal. Was supposed to be for 2 nights but due to a family emergency I had to cut my trip short and return. I called the reception at 2 PM who transferred me to the supervisor Larissa. She said there will be a penalty of 50% of the room rate. I suggested that since the room had not been cleaned for the day, could it be a late departure? She stated that the hotel was sold out and they had to decline people for the stay and hence the penalty. I accepted it, however before checking out, I logged on to the reservation right after my conversation with her to see if she was right. To my surprise the hotel was not sold out and there were plenty rooms available for that day. I did not mind paying the fee but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Will not stay there again.

Loved the location and the staff. The concierge, Mark, was very helpful and patient with my questions. My 19th floor room faced north and had a beautiful view of Mount Royal.

First time staying there and it is really well situated. The hotel entrance and bar area are wide open and lovely on a sunny day. Rooms are comfortable and big enough.

Le Centre Sheraton was the "host" hotel for a recent conference I attended. Upon check-in, I requested the feather bedding be removed due to allergies. I arrived at my room moments later, only to find someone was already replacing the bedding on both beds! One area for improvement -- increase bandwidth for Internet connectivity, especially since access was "free" to conference attendees staying on property. It seemed almost everyone was checking their emails during the morning hours prior to the convention start time!

Staff were courteous and efficient, hotel was nicely appointed. Breakfast was very good. Appreciated the complimentary internet. Food in lounge was very good.
Desk was awkwardly located at the foot of the bed, and blocked access to the window area. No towel bar to hang bath towels. Wish breakfast was complimentary.

Your hotel is one of the very few hotels that charges $3 per bag when the guest checks out in time but has a flight later in the afternoon. This is totally out of character for a hotel of this repute.

This hotel is everything an upscale grand hotel should be -- great lobby, great pool, great staff, great rooms, and great attention to details. Excellent location for downtown access, Airport Express bus, and Metro.

The overall quality of the Sheraton in Montreal has dropped greatly. In the top floors you always got glasses not plastic things( that leaked) They used to provided good quality amities (shampoo, hand cream etc.) Now it's the same old. When I made a comment I received a parcel of "stuff" that would sink a battle ship, and two real glasses. I am a loyal user for many years this trip I was very disappointed.

I reserved a room with a friend on my SPG number and was billed the full deposit. The roommate was given credit for half the deposit causing issues at check-out. She registered with SPG on arrival and was recognized as the primary guest from then on. Staff ignored my 5 year history and my name. I checked in early and the full cost of the room without the sharing or deposit, plus "incidentals" was processed on my credit card tying up my full credit available. Undoing this fiasco at check-out was time consuming and almost impossible. We stood at the checkout for about 45 minutes will no offer of a chair despite my saying that I could not stand that long. I expect much more from Preferred Guest membership.

The Sheraton Montreal is in the perfect location for events at the Bell Centre. The atmosphere in the lobby bar was perfect, as was the food and drink available, and the service was prompt even after a hockey game. We upgraded to get access to the Club lounge and it was worth it. The evening appetizers and the continental breakfasts were plentiful, and the staff were attentive.

Stayed at this hotel this past week for work. Everything was fine until the day before I left. I came back to my room and my phone charger was missing. Called the front desk that night and they said that they would call me back in the AM and leave a message. They didn't. I called in the morning for a follow-up and they said they'd call me back in an hour. They didn't. Went downstairs to check out and had the front desk call. Denied removing anything. With the amount of money I'm spending on this place, do you think I'm trying to be shady about a phone charger that was clearly plugged into the lamp outlet? I don't like staying at places where my personal items are moved and/or removed from the room.

This hotel is pricey but the location is fantastic. Unfortunately the downfall is there is no free WIFI. They say it is available in the lobby but it is terrible. When you pay the $15 for WIFI it only works on one device. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bar is a nice feature.

I have stayed in this hotel for a cumulative number of nights in excess of 200 over the past years. This past year I have about 140 nights.
This hotel is like a comfortable pair of old shoes. Nothing shiny but comforting. For the most part the staff and great.
The Heating and Air-conditioning is not great. Many of the units sound like jet planes taking off. That said if you get one of the rooms with a moderate sounding unit you are good.
The gym is one of the best gyms in a hotel I have come across.
I keep staying here as it is a good balance of value and comfort.

I would not recommend this hotel. Staff were not very helpful. The room was hot, the air conditioner made a tremendous amount of noise. I was amazed when I pulled in and left with lots of luggage and the bellman simply watched. Did not even offer to help. It was quite stunning for a hotel in a chain that usually performs much better than this.

I have been staying at Le Centre Sheraton for many, many, years and can honestly say that its the ONLY place to stay when visiting the Montreal area!
The entire staff is incredibly friendly and their willingness to ensure your stay is perfect is beyond comparison.
I'd also highly recommend upgrading to the Club Level which will give you access to the private lounge; it's the perfect place to start and end your day!

I stayed there for three nights with two full size beds sharing with my friend. I checked in and asked for a two bed suite, the guy told me that there are only few suites with two beds but they all sold which is quite understandable. I enjoyed our stay, the club lounge was very nice but the service needs to improve (it took me 15 minutes to order two beers because the bartender there was too busy chatting with another guest to notice my existence ). Very busy swimmng pool but great facility. Nice lobby bar, typical hotel price. Ovrall great stay.

To my surprise this hotel closes down it's restaurant and room service menu at 11 p.m. having travelled extensively and stayed at many other hotels and Inns I found this an aweful surprise. The shower in our room had a shower head more suited for a person below 5"6" tall; being 6"4" i almost had to bend in half inorder to get my head wet, again unacceptable. Third the server on the 27th floor lounge tried to take the plate away of one of my guests while she was still eating, I was horrified. and lastly the valet who brought our car up on sunday was being followed unkwon to him by my best friend and also a guest; the valet was spinning the tires on our car! and racing to the valet entrance, in total I will never ever set foot in your hotel again.

This Hotel was first class from start to finish.
The staff were very professional, courteous and upbeat.
The room was well appointed, with an amazing bed with luxurious, comfortable pristine white linens.
I was impressed by their offer to forego maid service to contribute to environmental frugality, as I was by the presence of a recycling bin within the room.
Their reward of a $5 voucher to use in their dining areas encouraged me to have lunch in the Bistro on my way out. Again, the staff was impeccable and the meal was outstanding.
My experience at the Sheriton Montreal was very positive.
