The rooms themselves left MUCH to be desired. Plus, I was in a room facing the front drive way on the lobby level. When I asked to move, the staff didn't even try to accomodate me. However, the amenities are great! Lots of pools, cabana service, and water bottles in the room each day. Food was better than expected too.

This hotel was very over priced and had hidden cost that were not made clear. Had I known ahead of time I would not have booked my reservation there and gone to another Disney resort. The manager said it was explained in my confirmationand when I showed him that parking fees were not mentioned he removed it off the bill.

We stayed at the hotel for a week with 2 14 year old boys and they kept business with the arcade, pools and walking along the boardwalk. The resort is beautiful, clean and everyone was very nice. The food was kind of pricey but we got a discout with starwood so it wasn't that bad. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

I do not think I would consider a Starwood hotel in the future and will definitely not stay at this hotel or its sister property, the Swan, again.
-The carpet in the hallways is buckled.
-Hallway moulding is peeling off the wall and laying on the floor--half attached to the wall and half laying on the floor. (I have a picture)
-Wallpaper seams are splitting and gaping. (I have a picture)
-Elevators are musty (like cat urine)
-Telephone in my room did not work. Had to call for room service and bellman from my cell phone.
-Turkey bacon (the only protein I ordered) on my first room service order was ICE COLD.
- Took me 15 minutes to even reach a bellman. Bellman would not answer phone and when I called the operator she kept disconnecting me. I finally had to raise my voice with the operator who ultimately had to go find a bellman personally.
This was a very disappointing property and I am shocked that Disney would even tie its name to it.
Will never stay there again.

The hotel is great for vacationing with family with plans to go to Disney. Proximity to Epcot, availability of free and frequent shuttles is excellent. Not a great venue for conferences. Check-in took too long (15 min wait), hotel was sold out for attendees. Available dining options were good, though frequently crowded.

From the great staff at the check in desk to the great views from the room this hotel was wonderful!! We loved it!!
The only problem we had was our room key had to be used to get in and out of parking lot and it had to be swiped many times for it to operate the lift gates to let us in and out!! We will be back!!!

Noisy, Cold, Ridiculous design. There are windows, but all you see are air conditioning units and walls.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Elevators are fast. Other guests probably won't have the same complaint, but this room is a joke. I have seldom been so happy to leave a hotel.
Might I suggest a large storage closet??

We got everything we asked for in our room and more...the view was unbelievable and Picabo was a great little cafeteria to start or finish the day. Staff was great and very helpful as usual. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Disney for any amount of time, the location on the Boardwalk is perfect.

I REALLY enjoyed my short stay here. My visit was for a conference so I didn't get to take advantage of all the wonderful things this resort had to offer. There is SO much to do, the staff is WONDERFUL, the rooms are great and the location is excellent if your planning on visiting Disney multiple days during your stay.

been coming to this hotel for nearly 20 years.It is one of our favorites in the world. As Platinum member we have stayed at some of the most luxurious hotels in the world but we still look forward to visiting the Dolphin.We now are in our 3rd generation as we bring our granchildren to what they now call pa pa 's hotel.

the room needing some attention. The shower drains couldnt keep up. the shower curtain stunk and could use cleaning. the sheets werent deep enough and kept coming off the matress. No vending machines available. The cost of a drink at the buffet was un believable. I will be better prepaired if my company comes again.

The room had been picked up but was clearly dirty. The floors by sink need to be mopped or steamed. The grout is dirty. The room is dusty, the tissue box has visible dust on the top of it. The counters by coffe maker were clearly dirty and looked like they had not been wiped down. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

I have stayed several times at this hotel and enjoyed it every time. It is a very clean place all the way down to seeing the creases in the comforters being replaced. The staff is helpful and polite. Very relaxing stay and is easy to get to any park by boat or bus. Very cool boat transport.

We stayed at the Dolphin during a conference that was held in the Dolphin. The room was a wonderful sanctuary to go back to after a long day. I loved that we received free water bottles every day. The beds were always clean, made, and comfortable. Plus, the hotel is so close to all of the wonderful Disney attractions.

If you want internet, don't stay here. Throughout the entire stay the internet was extraordinary slow or non-existent. Only thing hotel did was send you to their tech people who said, yes, there were problems but had no idea when it would be fixed. Others who have stayed at the property in the past say this is typical

I was very disappointed in my stay at your hotel. The housekeeping service needs major improvement in my experience. I stay at a lot of hotels throughout the year and this one is by far a let down on the price I paid. I had paid for two rooms and both rooms were not cleaned, even had very nasty sheets on one bed.

This hotel was perfect in terms of location and facilities. We stayed for our honeymoon and could not have been happier. Our view of the Boardwalk and Epcot fireworks were perfection. Justin on the Concierge desk could not have been more helpful!! Hopefully we'll get the chance to come back and stay again.

The initial room upon check-in was unaceptable. Needed a good cleaning. The connecting room was not unlocked when we returned to our room at 5:30pm. We were moved to a new location and again the connecting room was not unlocked. With two very tired, sleepy children we waited until 7:22 pm for staff to open the door.

Great stay at the WDW Dolphin. The Christmas events at the Dolphin were great--especially meeting Mr. and Mrs. "Florida" Claus.
Because the type of room we wanted was not available, we were offered a room upgrade at check-in.

Room was poorly cleaned upon arrival - dirty, smudges on all of the mirrors, spots of mold on the shower curtain and the floor looked like it hadn't been swept. Bathrooms are very small. I expected a lot more from a Disney hotel. However, all of the staff we encountered were always smiling, pleasant and helpful.

While this hotel sits on Disney property and utilizes the name, it is far from Disney. If you want a Disney experience, this is not your hotel. The room was clean, but had a very musty smell our whole stay. The beds were very comfortable. The pool area was spacious. The gym was one of the best hotel gyms I've used.

My wife and I stayed at the Disney World Dolphin for 4 nights. I would rate this hotel as a 2 star property and not worth the 180 per night rate. Either spend some extra money and stay at a nicer WDW property or stay off the park. The rooms are very cramped and outdated. The room smelled of mildew and mold as well.

I love staying here because it is so close to the parks, But I am going to reconsider coming back. On several occasions I have had issues when I invite people here. They are beginning to wonder why I keep coming.
I had two rooms; the first was was as expected. The second one I had my family check in late on Saturday night for one night. In that room the air condition was not working, and after waiting a hour for engineering to fix the problem, we were moved to another room. That room was damp the carpet was wet. After calling the front desk we were told that a bell staff would be coming to move us. he handed us the keys and left. We had no idea where this room was. We went down to the front desk found out it was in a different tower, and made our way up. We went up to find that the room was again damp. Back down to the front desk. The manager found us another room, but by that time our three year old was just not going to be moved at 1:00am. Very disappointed in the whole situation.

This was my third visit to the Disney Dolphin hotel and I am as impressed as ever. The property is maintained meticulously. The staff are pleasant and accommodating without exception. I was comfortable at all times. I look forward to my return for another pleasant stay.

Overall, I have enjoyed this hotel and have appreciated its amenities and service - not so, during my last stay. On the first full day there, there was a large corporate event that monopolized the main pool area, nearby lap pool and pool bar/cabana area. I received a very disinterested reaction from Guest Services when I complained about the loss of a major section of the hotel's facilities, especially important after a long hot day. The only response was to use the lap pool at the Swan which, as a result, was overcrowded and dirty. I wouldn't mind the loss of a major portion of the hotel's facility if we were compensated in some manner. But no, we were offered nothing, and I was not contacted by Guest Services management as I had requested.
So beware. Before you pay full rate for this resort, find out if you are going to get the full, advertised amenities, or whether they are going to resell a section of the facility (which you are about to pay for) to a corporate event.

Good faclities, seems a hair more dated than comperable (Hard Rock, Universal hotels) but very pretty.
One incident: a couple fighting so loudly on Sunday that we had to call Security to the pool. Sadly, my kids learned a few new bad words. Unsure if alcohol was involved -was a lot of the "Bud Lite" type crew.

had a wonderful time in disneyworld, and staying at the dolphin. great facilities, location service.
1 recommendation, the first night we were awakened by a fire alarm, at about 11:30 .i would have expected the hotel to offer a hot drink to the guests who ran out of bed and stood outdoors for over a half hour.

I stayed at this same hotel 13 years ago. Unfortunately they have not upgraded anything since and the hotel is old and requires much needed upgrading and improvements to bring it up to standard. The rooms are also not very clean. Location and access to Disney are great and unmatched to other non Disney hotels.
