Rated 3 out of 5 by cre8iv1 Sheraton Towers has fallen
I have stayed at this hotel over the last 15 years and seen the upgrades and now the downfall. Overall the staff tries to accommodate, but I have to say that somewhere along the way that the management of this hotel lost sight of the customer.
I was traveling with my wife recently and had her check in ahead of me on the Executive floor (as a Gold for life, and given that we are on the executive floor with club access..) and was embarrassed beyond belief that the lounge staff made it very uncomfortable when we had invited an outside guest to join us for a meeting over cocktails before leaving the hotel for dinner.
None the less, after many years of staying at this hotel, I have chosen to move on & out.

I am a patinum member for many years and stayed in many starwood hotels all over the world. This is my first review since I became a starwood member.. I fully agree with the experiences of many of your platinum members as mentioned in their reviews. There are many starwood hotels with three stars but they are much better than this hotel. The executive lounge is the worst i ever have experienced. Snacks are very limited, if available Breakfast, the same experience. Rooms are very outdated if you compare it with many other Starwood hotels.I will never stay in this hotel again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by foo42 Great location, poor service
While the location and facilities are great the service was spectacularly bad.
The pool bar was manned for a total of two hours during my four day stay. Trying to flag down a member of staff when it wasn't maned proved to be an exercise in futility.
The service at the dining room was slow and awkward, it took over 30 minutes to get a cup of coffee (for breakfast) and they forgot half of my order.
Service in the executive lounge on the other hand was great. Sadly the catering was not.
I'll make sure to avoid this property going forward. It is, by far, the worst SPG property I've stayed at in Singapore.

Half Hearted approach
As a SPG, I really enjoy booking my hotel booking with SPG member hotels. I recently stayed in the Sheraton Singapore, Scotts Road and having flown overnight from Tokyo, I was delighted that I could have my room on arrival at 08:00! How wonderful was that! However, having booked a room rate for my wife and I that include access to the Lounge facilities, I was disappointed when I was told by the very nice reception person attending to my check-in that the access to the lounge during the afternoon snack and drinks was for one person. I have stayed in SPG and other hotels the world over and I never came across such approach!

Rated 1 out of 5 by ChrisL 2 extremely bad experience in 2 visits
Being a SPG platinum member, I have stayed at numerous starwoods hotels. This is by far the worst hotel I have encountered. Extremely incompetent front desk staff, bad service attitude and totally lousy experience. After the first stay, I was promised a better experience the next time I return by the duty manager Billy. However, that promise did not materialised on my second visit. I was being asked redundant questions about my room preferences and was given a room that reeks of tabacco which is totally unacceptable. This resulted in me being late for a conference call after the room change. The same duty manager Billy was on duty and was basically speechless when I questioned about the promised better experience!

Rated 4 out of 5 by manilaboy First impression lasts
This was my first stay at Starwood Hotels and I must say that Sheraton Towers Singapore is really the Grand Dame of Hotels in Singapore. I so loved the Sweet Sleeper Bed and Pillow. The complimentary in-room coffee was really great. The room and pool is newly renovated. The concierge was really helpful. He even encircled our hotel location and the nearby supermarkets that I was looking for in the map. I am just wondering why the toiletries are not Shine brands. I thought Sheraton has been using Shine brands. Anyway, Starwood gives me a great first impression and I am now starting to collect SPG points and be loyal to the brand. Thank you Sheraton Singapore for the wonderful stays!
