Everything is average, service, receiption, housekeeping... corperate price+ 50$ enjoy the executive launge. The food repeat every two days, boring. I have to stay for one week!

In May 2014 (not my last stay) has not very good. I am given a Cabana room but inside there worms or some similar in the floor and bed. I then inform the house keeping, they did come to get rid of them. I was requesting to have room changed but nothing is being done. When I checked out, I did tell the check out staff and the manager come out and promise to look after my next visit (which was last week). I did get an upgrade to a nice room but not before I raised the past issue and insist of getting a better room. I just thought that being a platinum member of SPG I would have been taken care a lot better than this.

I've stayed at this hotel over 100 times over the past 25 years, and it has very rarely failed to exceed expectations. It is not the newest or flashiest hotel in Singapore, but it is well located, the staff are outstanding, and everything works. You can't ask more from a hotel.

Being a SPG platinum member, I have stayed at numerous starwoods hotels. This is by far the worst hotel I have encountered. Extremely incompetent front desk staff, bad service attitude and totally lousy experience. After the first stay, I was promised a better experience the next time I return by the duty manager Billy. However, that promise did not materialised on my second visit. I was being asked redundant questions about my room preferences and was given a room that reeks of tabacco which is totally unacceptable. This resulted in me being late for a conference call after the room change. The same duty manager Billy was on duty and was basically speechless when I questioned about the promised better experience!

Very disappointed with this stay. As a platinum member, received no room upgrade (not sure if I was put on a "preferred" floor, as there were lots of noise from tourist groups in the hallway). Walls are thin enough for me to hear conversations next door! Breakfast in the lounge was a joke, very little selection, and the quality was sub-standard, definitely not comparable to other decent Sheratons in Asia. If this were a Sheraton in a run-down city in the US, it's probably not a surprise. But for a competitive market like Singapore, it's a hotel that I would never re-visit.

1. In early 2011, was checked into a room where I found a guest already occupying and sleeping when I went in.
2. After almost 6 mths, tried again in Oct. Realised at check out that the check in person had not highlighted the inclusions in the package.
3. I highlighted how I had been adversely affected. Duty mgr blamed it on inexperience of a check in staff (so, no procedure for experienced staff handling Plat guests). Then, he offered me 2000 star points saying it was = US $600 redemption. When I challenged this, he retracted & said sorry. So, he's either a liar or incompetent. Very disappointing

We were 10 people for business meeting.
Rooms: bad smell coming from the AC and some bath room with water issues
Meeting room: very old material (projector) and bad internet connection (even if it's charged 120$ per day!).
Overall: a poor value for money
